The Golden Boy’s Girl Extra Chapter
Blake’s Point Of View
I down another glass of scotch before gesturing to the bartender for another one.
“Mind if I ask how old you are son?” He asks as he pours another one.
“21,” I lie easily and pull out the fake I.D to show him. He accepts it and nods, handing it to me.
“Well, there’s only two things that makes a boy like you drink like that. One, you’re parents are giving you hell, or the girl, or boy, I’m not one to judge, is giving you hell,” he chuckles and I give sadistically.
“Both, especially the girl,” I say, pulling out the photo of Fayelynn. Fayelynn Collins.
She looked just like her. Just like her. Just like Cate. My Cate, my beautiful Cate who was taken from me. She was cheated from me, and I loved her. I loved her with my entire heart and soul and now I have none. I have no soul, nor do I have a heart. I don’t want one, I gave mine to Cate. Cate, she was my sunshine, my beautiful, my everything. Her name rang in my head, making me smile drunkenly. Her sweet face and every part of her warmed me and my cold cruel heart.
I wanted nothing to with Fayelynn. I wanted Cate, and Fayelynn was the closest thing I could get to Cate. And I wanted her. I wanted Fayelynn, because to me, she is Cate. Fayelynn had the same silky hair, the same innocent chocolate eyes, the sweet smile, the caring kind attitude. Why hadn’t I noticed it before? Then I would have been able to get her before him. Before the one that stole my Cate from me, and now he had Fayelynn. The golden boy gets what he wants right?
“She’s real pretty,” the bartender answered, looking at the picture. “What’s her name?”
I thought for a moment.
“Cate. Her name is Cate.”
“Real pretty name for a real pretty girl. Why are you here instead of with her boy?” He asked, wiping down the bar.
“We had a bit of a… misunderstanding.”
If only I could make her see more for more than the player and the flirt. If I could steal her from him the way he stole Cate from me, if I could make him feel my pain. Then I would have my Cate and he would have my pain. That’s all I wanted, that’s all I needed.
“Well, that’s easy, son. All you got to do is something romantic. Show up at her house and clear up whatever misunderstanding,” he reasons and the wheels in my head start to turn.
“Yeah. Maybe, but now there’s another guy in the picture,” I mutter.
“Make her forget all about him, if you know what I’m suggesting. You go get the girl that you love, and do whatever you gotta to get her,” he told me and I nodded, before downing another drink. And Another. And another.
“You know what? You’re right, I’m going to get my Cate back whatever I do,” I decide after the fifth drink and the bartender nods.
“That’s right, you do what you have to. No exceptions, boy. It’s time to be a man and get your girl back. If only someone gave me that advice when I had the chance to repair my mistake,” a new voice cut in. The new voice was a man sitting in the barstool, with a whiskey.
“Who are you?” I enquire.
“Thomas Collins, but that’s not important. You get your girl, whoever she is and wherever she is. Forget about this other boy in the picture and make sure she forgets him too,” he says and I nod.
“I’ll do that.”

“Cate!” I bang on the apartment door. I wanted my Cate. I needed my Cate.
My Cate. Cate, Cate, Cate, Cate, Cate.
The words chanted in my head and I kicked the door again. My foot fell limp and the stupid welcome doormat shifted. Something glinted in the dim light and I bent down to pick it up. Although in my drunken stupor it was tough, I managed to grip it and it was a key. I think i remember somebody telling me about the key...
Oh yeah, the little kid. What's his name? Rickey, Mickey?
“You do what you have to do to get your girl.”
I jammed the key into the hole and winced at how it was the skin of my thumb that hit the edge, not the key. It took a few tries but I managed to get the door open. It was dark but that didn’t matter. I stumble in and fall against the wall.
The door opened and I stood completely still. She walked in, my Cate. She sighed and turned around, reaching for the light switch.
“Shh. Don’t scream,” I covered her mouth so she couldn’t scream. I wanted to be this close to her, to smell her soft skin and feel her against me. My Cate.
Suddenly, I knew just how to hurt him.

HI guys. Sorry about this chapter being so short. I just wanted to give you a look inside Blake's mind. Basically, for those of you that don't understand, Blake's obbsession with Fayelynn starts with a girl named Cate. And Fayelynn reminds him of Cate, also, Danny "stole" Catw from him so this is part revenge.
Who is Cate?
Any new comments on Blake?
Who do you picture as Blake? I mean, i don't know how to cast him because i don't want to make him hot but i can't make him ugly because he's the "player"
Thanks guys!
~Jana
P.S. Dedicated to Mallome who commented and requested this chapter!
