Fayelynn
The next morning I jumped out of bed, excitement running through me veins. I was ready to face the day!
Yeah, Right.
Mondays
After putting my alarm clock on snooze about 400000 times, I dragged myself out of bed, showered and got dresses. I chose my outfit carefully, with my cleanest jeans and white and blue stripped t-shirt and black converses. After brushing out my hair and putting it in a braid, I woke Mikey up and made breakfast and packed his lunch.
“Here is your lunch. Eat it all, especially the carrots!” I instructed
“Fine,” he rolled his eyes at me
“Oh look, I have a teenager on my hands,” I state sarcastically
“I’m only five, Fayely,”
“But you act like your 15, Mikey-Ikey,”
“Okay, whatever. You look pretty today,” he commented and I smiled at him
“Thank you, but don’t think that’s going to get you out of eating your carrots,” I say and he groans
“But Fayely! They are so hard and gross,”
“That’s why I boiled them for you, so now they are soft. I also put ranch dressing in your lunch, so it’s not as gross,” I reason. He just sighs dejectedly and mutters a fine before finishing his cereal. After I walk him to the bus stop I walk back and get my backpack. As I am leaving the house, Danny offers me a ride and I accept.
“This is going to cause quiet an uproar,” I comment
“What is?”
“The famous Danny Mason breaks up with his girlfriend then shows up to school with the town loser,” I laugh
“I guess it is. It’ll be really funny though. God, I wonder what rumors are speeding already,”
“They will be really hilarious!” I can already imagine the speculation
“You sure you will be okay?”
“Yeah, I am used to it. I honestly don’t think what people think!”
“That’s good, hold on to that,” We arrive at school and I can already see the people staring at his car. He opens the door for me and I step out. Gasps fill the parking lot and I smile slightly. Danny holds his hand out for me and I raise an eyebrow.
“Just go with it,” he whispers, and I do. I can feel the heated stares on my back as I walk into school. Some have stars of envy, or jealousy but most are hate filled. We walk right past Brittany and she gasps.
“Oh, look it’s the player and the whore,” she says
That’s funny coming from you of all people,
I grip Danny’s hand to keep from clocking her in the face. We walk into school and separate. He gives me a little wink and I go to my locker. I can feel the eyes on my back but I ignore them and get my books. Walking to my first class, I feel like the entire hallway parted just so I could walk by.
Let’s play a game, it’s called How cliché could this get?
I hear people, not so quiet whispers. They went like this:
“God, is she really dating Danny Mason? Lucky Bitch!”
“Whore,”
“What does he see in her?”
“I am so much hotter!”
They all went like this and when I finally got to class, the entire class got quiet.
