"Yes?" I ask into the phone, exhausted from the day. I've been here for 12 hours now. I think if I have to stare at this computer for another second, I might throw it out the window.

"Okay cranky pants. I guess I'll enjoy this latte." Jordan says, causing me to perk up and blush.

"Let's not do anything rash." I mumble into the phone. I would do anything for coffee right now. I ran out hours ago and have been telling myself I'll get some more for hours now.

"Brad is here with coffee and food. Should I send him to your office?" Jordan asks and I sigh. I do not want him to see me like this. I should get up and stand anyways.

"Tell him I'm grabbing my coat and will be down in a minute. It'll be nice to stretch my legs." I stand from my desk.

"Will do. See ya soon." Jordan hangs up and I sit the phone down. I slide my arms into my jacket and step back into my heels that have been off since I sat down. God, I should move more. I rub my neck as I shut the door behind me.

I walk down the hall slowly but can't help but smile when I see Brad. He's adorable.

"What are you doing here?" I ask softly. He shrugs.

"When it clicked that you had been here so long, I figured that you would need this." He holds the coffee up and I smile.

"More than you know." I turn to Jordan and sigh.

"You should go home. I'll leave with Collin." I tell her and she shakes her head.

"Collin left an hour ago. You're the only one here. I can't leave you alone." She rubs her face and I half smile.

"I'll be fine. If all else fails, I'll sleep on my couch." I joke and she scoffs but Brad speaks first.

"There's no way you're sleeping on the couch. I'll take you home." He says and Jordan and I both look at him.

"She could be here for another 3 hours, you know?" Jordan says and I groan. I hate doing this to them.

"I could but I will finish up this file and take the rest home. I just won't have a weekend." I tuck my hair behind my ears to get it out of the way.

"You can't have that many left." Jordan looks at me confused.

"Collin sent the rest of his over earlier since he has that ordeal with the other business and Thomas wouldn't split the workload because he's got a date and left early."

"Send me half of what you have left and an email of what I need to do. It's all got to be done by Monday, right?" She asks and I nod.

"What is it?" Brad asks and I turn to him.

"Training for the new employees. We have to get them caught up with us and it's a lot so I've split it into parts and we have to make sure they understand so there's tests and stuff."

"Sounds like a lot." He rubs my back softly and I can't help but lean into him. It's been such a crappy day.

"Go grab your stuff. Let's get out of here." Jordan says and I half smile.

"I really shouldn't. It's hard to focus at home." I tell her and she frowns.

"Take a break with me." Brad says softly and I nod.

"Of course." I tell him. "We'll be just outside." I tell Jordan and she waves us out.

"I'll hold down the fort."

Brad holds the door open for me and I step into the cool air and take a deep breath in. I'm so tired.

"Did you want to sit?" He asks and I shake my head.

"Let's walk." He hands me the latte and we start walking along the narrow concrete path that goes around the building.

"Thank you so much for the coffee. I really needed it." I smile and reach for his free hand.

"Anytime. I was just worried about you." He says and I sigh.

"I didn't mean to make you worry." I take a sip of my drink and all but moan. I missed coffee.

"It's not a big deal. I wanted to see you anyways." He squeezes my hand softly. I smile and look down at the ground, watching my footsteps carefully.

"I like this whole relationship we have. I like that you're okay with not following the rules." I look back up and take a long sip, burning my tongue. I get so impatient that I'm lucky I still have taste buds.

"Why's that?" He asks and looks down at me with a smile.

"I like that we're okay seeing each other so often and there's no rule on how long we wait to text or call each other back."

"I never thought I would want a relationship so soon after my last but I knew when I saw you that night that I liked you. I mean it's hard to find someone in this world to begin with but to find someone so open and honest. I hit the jackpot with you and I knew it. I didn't want to waste time with the back and forth game." I stop walking and he turns to me. Letting go of his hand, I grab his jacket and pull him to me. Our lips meet and I sigh. I missed this. The way his lips feel against mine. The way my heart feels like it's beating far too loudly. The butterflies in my stomach.

Taking the coffee from my hand, Brad pulls me closer and frees up my other hand. I move both of mine  to his face and our kiss becomes feverish. Neither of us willing to back down, we grip to each other.

Remembering where we are, I pull away slowly and we both catch our breath. Maybe I should have invited him to my office. No, I'm sure it's for the best that we don't jump each other's bones just yet. I want to though, more than I can say.

"Let's go back. I'll grab my stuff and we can leave." I tell him softly and he smiles.

"I think that's a good choice." We pull away from each other and walk back to the office. We didn't get too far thankfully so it doesn't take long.

"That was quick." Jordan says when we walk in and I blush.

"Finally talked her into going home." Brad says and I can tell he's thinking about outside.

"Thank god. I'm ready to get out of here. Where were you hours ago?" She asks and he laughs.

"We're gonna go grab my stuff. We'll just be a minute." I smile and walk down the hall. I lead us into my office and shut the door softly.

"Don't look at me like that." I tell him as I finally look up to him, my back against the door.

"Like what?" He asks, sitting my coffee on my desk.

"Like I'm a tall glass of water in a desert." He holds his hands out to me and I place mine in his. I let him pull me to him and he smiles.

"You are so much more than a tall glass of water in the desert." I smile and kiss him gently.

"Will you help me grab my stuff so we can go home?" I ask softly, my lips still grazing his. He pulls my bottom lip into his mouth and I melt. I hold his hands tightly to keep myself steady.

"I don't know what it is but I can't keep my hands off of you." He says, his voice low. Oh god, I would love to do it all with him. If he spoke to me like that more I would do anything he wanted, at any time. It feels wrong to do it in my office, especially since it's our first time.

"Damn it, Bradley. You're making it so hard to take it slow."

"Let's grab your stuff and get you home." He smiles and it's all back to the way it was before. My sweet and caring Brad. As much as I adore this Brad, I crave the one before. I guess the horny Brad. I think it brings out that in me. I haven't wanted anyone like I want him.
