"Welcome home." Bradley greets me as I set my things down on the kitchen counter. I smile and take in this gorgeous man making dinner again. I'm exhausted and frankly ready to pass out but I can't yet. I have to tell him the news finally.

"I better hurry up and marry you before someone else tries to snatch you from me." I wrap my arms around him and he smirks.

"How was your doctors appointment?" He asks and I blush. Not technically a lie but a little bit.

"It was fine. Got poked again but I'm alright." And prodded but i didn't hate that part really.

"Are you sure I shouldn't go to a doctor too?"

"You've already been looked at. Nothing has changed. This was just a checkup." I pull out of his arms and find a cup to fill with water. I should be creative when I tell him.

"If everything comes back normal, I'll go back. We'll figure it out." He tells me and I nod. I've got to stop doing this to him.

"Sounds like a plan. I'm gonna go put my stuff up. I'll be back." I grab my bags and head to the stairs, pausing in front of the nursery. I smile as I pull the card out of my purse. I open the door and use a thumbtack to place the card on the wall. Leaving the room, I set my things on the railing for upstairs. My heart is hammering in my chest as I take a deep breath.

"Bradley? Have you been in the nursery?" I walk back into the kitchen and ask him as seriously as I can. He looks at me confused before shaking his head.

"Not in a few days. Why?" He asks and I wrap my arms around myself.

"The door was just open and you know I like that door to stay closed."

"I know baby. I keep it closed. It shouldn't be open at all."

"I think I'm making this seem like a bigger deal that it is. God, I'm so sorry." I scratch my head and Bradley slides the pan into the oven.

"No, I get it. It's a special room." I smile a little.

"Will you come look at it with me?" I ask softly. It's something that I've asked him to do dozens of times. Something that isn't out of the ordinary, especially on days that I have a doctors appointment.

"Of course." He washes his hands before grabbing my hand and walking with me to the room. He pushes the door open and I smile.

"I got you a surprise." I whisper and I watch his head move from the envelope tacked to the wall, to me. "I hope you're not too mad at me for keeping a secret from you."

"Is that for me?" He asks and I nod.

"It's not much but I couldn't contain myself anymore."

He pulls the envelope from the wall and opens it. I blush as he pulls out the card that I made for him. It's nothing fancy but something simple for the real surprise. He opens the card and he takes a breath in.

"Were gonna have twins?" He asks shakily and I nod.

"That was a surprise for me today."

"Two babies? In you? Right now?" He asks choppy and I smile. He's in shock and hopefully so excited it's hard to contain it.

"Two little beans with beautifully perfect heartbeats that are right where they're supposed to be." My doctor wanted a scan early so we could make sure everything was on track and okay.

"How long have you known?" He asks softly and I sigh.

"A week officially but I've been suspicious since the smell of coffee makes my stomach turn now."

"I think that's punishment enough for not telling me as soon as you found out." He jokes and stares at the sonogram. They don't look like much yet but I know they're going to be everything.

"So you still love me?" I ask and he looks at me and I can tell how silly I'm being. Of course he still loves me. It's written all over his face.

"How could I ever not love you? You've given me everything I have ever wanted. I've never been more in love with you." He holds his hands out to me and I smile, wrapping my arms around him.

"I hope you'll understand why I want to move the wedding up a little bit, too. According to my due date, I'll be about 7 months pregnant by then."

"Anything you want."

"Tomorrow?" I joke and he shakes his head.

"This weekend?" He suggests and I smile.
