DIA's POV
WEEKS passed after Comet's death.. everyone are still coping up but I can see how they try to comfort each other..
Bumalik na rin ang kakulitan ni Yuan.. that's a good news! He visited me at the mansion and we went out to eat or just drive around.. nakakatuwa yun, actually, we make memories.. I'm happy that he's fnally back.. nakakalungkot kasi nung unang mga araw na nawala si Comet. Nahahawa ako sa kalungkutan niya.
"Thank you so much for the job well done, Ms. Tolentino. And I apologize for the late payment. Alam mo naman siguro ang nangyari sa anak ni Zander." Seryosong sabi ni Yuan making the beautiful lady in front of him nod. I can't help but be at awe because of how she look. She gracefully wore her wierd fashion as she elegantly sat in the chair in front of Yuan..
Wait.. Miss Tolentino?
"Sadly, Mr. Samaniego. But I sincerely understand and my condolences and apologies for not going, nagka-problema lang din. So I'll leave now. It was nice doing business with you." The lady said atsaka tumayo na.
"Same here." Inabot ni Yuan ang kamay niya and they shok hands.. at nang makalabas na ang babae ay mabilis akong lumapit kay Yuan at naki-usyuso..
"She's so pretty!!" I said making him laugh..
Anong nakakatawa ron?
"Maganda ka rin naman ah! You're so pretty that I can't keep my eyes off you." He said making me smile and blush..
Kinikilig ako sa mga pinagsasabi ng lalakeng to.
"Manahimik ka na nga!" Sita ko sa kanya tsaka umayos ng upo.. para siyang ewan.. nakakahiya tuloy..
"So, let's go??" Yuan asked as he extended his hands towards me.. I smiled and immediately accepted it. Nasa kumpanya niya kasi kami. We were on our way to somewhere when he suddenly received a call from his secretary that the event planner of their 11th year anniversary was in the company kaya nagpunta muna kami roon.
"I apologize for the delay, Dia.." he said when we arrived at his car.
"Ayos lang. I understand." I gave him an assuring smile which made him smile as well as he reached for my hand as he drive..
I, then suddenly remembered my question earlier.
"She's a Tolentino?" Tanong ko kay Yuan..
"Yes. Yoana Tolentino. She's Sia's half-sister." Sabi niya pa na ikinagulat ko.
May kapatid pala si Sia? Wow.. amg gaganda nila!!
Nang makarating kami a isang restaurant ay mabilis siyang bumaba tsaka ako pinagbuksan ng pinto.
Hindi na bago sa akin ang gesture na ito. Even before.. nung nagpa-panggap pa lang kami ay ginagawa niya na ito.. the waiter took our orders at hindi rin nagtagal ay dumating na iyon.
"You love shrimps?" Yuan suddenly asked making me stop from taking a bite from my food.
"Oo. I love it!!" I giggled. I love to eat shrimp.. kahit na anong may shrimp..
"Here. Iyo na yan. I'll eat this." Sabi niya tsaka isa-isang inilagay ang mga pasayan sa plato ko. It made me smile lalo pa nung mga gulay na lang talaga ng natira sa plato niya. So, what I did was put my vegetables to his plate as well.
"Damn.." I heard him hissed kaya pinanlakihan ko siya ng mata..
Minumura niya ba ako?
"Ano?" Matigas kong sa kanya.
"Ha?" Naguguluhan niyang tanong.
"You said 'damn' minumura mo ba akong Yuan?" Inis kong sabi..
I saw his eyes widened as he look back at me.
"No! Kinilig lang ako sa gesture mo." Nakayuko niyang sabi tsaka sumubo ulit..
I stiffened because of what he said kaya hindi ko sinasadyang mapatid ang paa niya which made him hit the table which made a loud thud. Napapitlag pa nga ako dahil doon.
"What? You're gonna hit me now? Hindi ko yun sinasadya." Nahihiya kong sabi sa kanya..
Hindi pa rin nakaka-recover ang puso ko dahil sa sinabi niya kanina kaya alam kong pulang-pula pa rin ang mukha ko. Langyang Yuan.
"How can I hate you when you're so cute and beautiful and adorable? Ha?" Agad akong nag-angat ng tingin dahil sa sinabi niyang yun. Nababaliw na ba siya!? Ano ba itong ginagawa niya sa akin?!
"Ano?!" Napapikit nalang ako ng napataas ang boses ko. Nakakahiya ka, Ara!
Eh! Si Yuan kaseeee!
"What?"
"Wag ka ngang magsalita ng ganyan!" Nahihiya ko pa ring sabi. Nakakahiya.. ano bang ginagawa ni Yuan? Pinapakilig niya ba ako? Well, he's succeeding!!
"At bakit naman hindi? It's true.." nakangiting sabi niya pa.
Tanggaling ko mukha mo eh!
"Eh! You look so adorable saying it!! Di kita masipa!!" Nakanguso kong sabi sa kanya tsaka pinag-krus ang mga braso ko..
I saw him stopped and his smile slowly disappeared kaya ako naman ang napangisi.
Sige ka...
"Sht.." mahinang bulong niya tsaka madamdamin pang hinawakan ang dibdib niya habang nakatingin sa akin.
I almost laugh out loud when I saw how emotional he got.
Ano na naman ba ang kalokohan ng lalaking to?
"Grabe, you really know how to make my heart rumble, my Dia." He commented as he look at me in the eyes..
Ikaw rin naman eh.
"Yeah?"
"Yup. You just made me love you more." He smiled again.
Napatitig nalang ako sa ngiti niyang yun. It was so sincere, this isn't the first time that I saw Yuan smiling sincerely but it felt different because I know that I am the reason why he's smiling.
"Thank you, Yuan." I sincerely said while looking at his beautiful smiling eyes.
"Thank you for what?" Naguguluhan niyang tanong habang nakatitig rin sa akin.
"Thank you for loving me more that I deserve." I felt my eyes starting to get teary kaya mabilis ko iyong pinunasan pero bago pa man ako makayuko ay nahawakan na ni Yuan ang pisngi ko at iniharao ulit ang mukha ko sa kanya.
"You deserve all the love in the world, Dia. You deserve everything." When he said everything, I felt that. Lalo na nung maramdaman ko ang kamay niya na pinupunasan ang mukha ko na ngayon ay nabasa na ng mga luha.
I cried in front of Yuan because of happiness. I can't believe that a person like him loves me more than I deserve.
Mahal na mahal kita, Yuan.
Yuan's clear and shining eyes caught my attention. He's intently staring at me but it didn't make me feel any awkward. Instead, I feel happy because he looks at me like a precious gem needed to be protected.. I saw him slowly getting near me.. and instead of looking away.. I closed my eyes and waited for his lips to touch mine..
But that was a hopeless thought..
All of the sudden I felt the pain piercing through my scalp as someone pull my hair up to face her.
"Leslie!!" Yuan shouted making me close my eyes...
