- Takami's POV -
At the Gymnasium
"Woooo! Go Junto!" Akane cheered for Junto next to us.
"I can't believe Akane likes Junto," Sachie whispered in my ear.
"Dude, just confess to him. He's gonna be taken away from you if you don't hurry."
"From you." Sachie looked at me unamused.
I sweat-dropped and awkwardly giggled. I looked over at Aki playing basketball. "Besides, I already have someone I like." I put my hands over my chest.
Sachie smirked, "Does that someone have a name that rhymes with sushi?"
I thought about it. "Sushi?"
Coach Goto walked over to us. "Oh my god, Akane, I'm such a huge fan."
"Thank you so much." Akane smiled brilliantly.
"Do you mind signing this for my nephew?" He handed her a magazine with her face on it.
"Sure, no problem." Akane signed the magazine and Coach Goto walked away. She, then, looked over at us. "Aren't you the girl that Junto fell over before?"
I sweat-dropped. "Yeah, but it was nothing."
She walked over to us and put her face near mine. "Look, Junto is mine. Don't start thinking about inappropriate things with him." Akane crossed her arms.
I tilted my head. "Uh?"
"Look, Akane," Sachie jumped into the conversation. "You just got here, so you shouldn't be claiming someone for yourself."
Akane evilly giggled, "And who are you?" Sachie was shocked by the words coming from her idol. "Welp, see you guys later."
"So you guys saw Akane's true self?" Aki walked up to us.
"Shouldn't you be practicing?" I asked him.
"Just getting some water." He grabbed the water bottle off the bleachers. "She'll do anything to get what she wants."
Sachie was suddenly on fire. "I won't lose!!!"
Aki and I sweat-dropped. "Yay?" We said in unison.
Junto, then, walked over to us. "Hey, Takami, if you're not doing anything later, wanna go to Tapioca later?"
Akane suddenly grabbed onto his arm. "Tapioca? Sounds fun."
"Sure, why not?" I smiled.
"I'll come too since I got nothing to do anyway." Aki included.
"Well, since I work there, I guess I'm going too." Sachie rolled her eyes and exited the gymnasium.
"Is she okay?" Junto looked at Sachie as she walked away.
"Sachie?" I said.
"Takami!" Hisao ran toward us. "You keep forgetting about the interview."
"Sorry, Hisao, maybe some other time."
Hisao sighed and walked away.
At Tapioca
Aki, Junto, Haru, Akane, and I all sat at the same table.
"Here are your drinks." Sachie came over and put our drinks on the table, but put down Akane's drink down viciously.
"Where are your manners?" Akane got up from her seat. "At least show some respect to your customer."
"How rude of me!" Sachie took her drink and slammed it on the table. The drink spilled on Akane's school uniform and the whole table.
"Look what you did!" Akane started to cry and ran into the bathroom.
"Sachie, what was that for?" Junto asked her.
We all looked at Sachie in shock. "Are you okay?" Haru asked.
Sachie backed away from our table and ran into the Employees Only Room.
I got up from my seat. "I should probably go talk to her."
I entered the Employees Only Room and saw Sachie's head down on the table. "What happened out there?" I asked.
"I don't know what got over me. When I saw Akane all over Junto, I just lost it." Sachie turned her head away from me.
"You weren't like this when Junto kept on asking me out." I walked closer to Sachie and sat next to her.
"Because I know you don't like Junto the way I do. Besides, you like Aki." Sachie continued to mope.
I didn't know what to say, but I knew I had to say something. "You know that no one can replace you, right?" I remembered what Aki told me. "You're perfect the way you are."
Sachie turned around to look at me. "What is with that cheesy line?" She tilted her head.
I sweat-dropped and awkwardly giggled. "Why don't we go out there? Akane is probably all over Junto by now."
She quickly stood up. "Not today, sis! Not today!" She pushed the door opened and walked over to our table.
"That's the spirit! Wait, what am I saying? Hold up!" I walked out of the Employees Only Room and saw Sachie talking to the guys.
I sighed. "Phew, Akane isn't there yet."
Akane suddenly put her right hand on the wall, almost slapping my face. "Look, I don't know what you guys are up to, but if you get in my way again, you will regret it." She looked at me seriously.
"We aren't trying to get in the way of anything, we're all friends."
She slammed her hand on the wall. "Are you that dense? I'm not your friend." Akane crossed her arms. "I am only here so Junto will go out with me, that's it."
"Akane, are you done bullying people?" Aki walked up to us.
"Aki, you know that I always get what I want." Akane looked back.
He walked and stood next to me. "Maybe you should face reality and know that everything doesn't go the way you want it to." His hair covered his eyes.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Akane giggled. "Just don't be so close to Junto." She walked toward the table.
"Am I that dense?" I asked Aki.
"Oh, wow, they're calling us." Aki walked toward the table.
"I didn't hear anything? Wait! Am I?"
