Chapter 22: Amusement Park Pt. 4

- Sachie's POV - 

"I can't believe you knew that Takami wasn't gonna go out with me..." Junto looked down at the floor. 

Haru put his hand on Junto's back. "I didn't want to make you all depressed." 

"Well... I'm depressed now." He sighed and looked up at the sky. 

As I walked closer to them, Haru got up from the bench. "I'll go find Takami and Aki." 

"You okay?" I sat next to him on the bench. 

"I just feel so stupid." Junto, then, put his head onto my shoulder. 

I started to blush. "Um... what are you doing?" 

"I'm tired, depressed..., humiliated..." He closed his eyes. 

"You know, you shouldn't be depressed." I looked at him and smiled. 

"Why not?" He asked. 

"Because now that you know you don't have a chance, you're able to go out with someone who does." 

I opened his eyes and smiled. "Yeah, probably someone like you." 

I awkwardly giggled and put my hand behind my head. "Well, I kinda wanna be that person, but it's okay if I'm not right for you." 

Junto giggled. "You really put me at ease." 

My heart started to beat really fast. Is this really happening? Everything I've ever wanted is becoming a reality. "We should go look for the others." I looked at him and realized he fell asleep. I started to giggle. 

Suddenly, Takami, Haru, and Aki came out from behind the bench. 

"Aww, that's so sweet." Takami smiled. "You think he still hates me?" 

"Nah, he already found someone who he really loves." Aki smiled as well. 

"You think so?" I asked him. 

"Of course, you guys seem so compatible." 

"Should we wake him up? It already..." Haru pulled out his phone. "3:27 PM." 

"Let's just let him sleep, he's had a hard day." I looked at Junto and smiled. 

Takami put my hands together in excitement. "Congratulations. We're gonna go sit at the table over there." 

- Takami's POV - 

I put my elbow on the table and my head on my hand. "I'm happy for them, we've been waiting for this moment." 

"Wait, I thought you and Junto were dating?" Haru questioned. 

"I guess, we broke up? But I don't mind. Sachie, finally, gets what she wants." 

"That's true." Haru shook his head. 

"How come you don't have a girlfriend, Haru?" Aki, out of nowhere, asked. 

"What are you talking about? You don't have one either." Haru smirked.

"I have my reasons for not having one." Aki, then, looked at me.

I fake giggled. "So what are those reasons?" I asked.

"You know, reasons."

I pouted. "Wow, what great reasons..."

"Now that I think about it, why aren't you guys dating?" Haru asked.

"What would make you think such a thing!" I started to hesitate.

"Well, you guys seem like a couple and you're comfortable with each other."

I looked over at Aki, looking at Haru. I wonder what's he thinking. Does he agree with what Haru said? Will he ask me out right now? 

"That may be the case but we're just friends. Besides, I haven't even found the one yet." He smiled and looked at me. 

I looked at him and then away. "You haven't found the one, huh?" 

"That's too bad, you guys look great together." Haru sighed. 

My hair covered my eyes. "Why do you even care..." 

"Um..." Haru put his hand behind his head. "I'm just curious, you know? I'm like a loner for life." He giggled. 

"I'm gonna go back home now..." I got up from my seat and headed toward the exit. 

"I'll go home with you." Aki got up from his seat. 

"No need, I wanna go home alone..." I continued to walk toward the exit. 

"Hey, pretty lady, wanna hang out with us?" Another two guys walked in front of me. 

"Get lost." I gave them the death stare. 

"Damn..." Then the two guys walked away from me. 

"Where you going?" Sachie asked while sitting on the bench with Junto still sleeping on her. 

"I'm gonna go home." I looked at her depressed. 

Sachie got up from the bench until Junto held her hand to stay. "Where you going?" He asked her. 

She looked back at him. "I'm gonna go home with Takami." 

"I'll come too. It's getting late anyway." Junto got up from the bench and continued to hold Sachie's hand. 

"We'll come too." Aki and Haru walked toward Sachie and Junto. 

I looked back and slightly smiled. "I just wanna be alone right now." Then I continued to walk toward the exit.
