- Takami's POV -

In Front of Kiyoshi's House

I knocked on the door while holding a box of chocolates. Kiyoshi opened the door and looked unphased.

"I'm sorry. Can I come in?" I smiled as I handed him the chocolates.

In the Living Room

"Thanks for pouring tea, Aoi." I sat on the couch and sipped the tea.

"No problem." She smiled. "I think this is the first time you ever came to our house."

I blinked twice. "You're right. I can't believe it."

Aoi sighed and looked the third cup of tea she poured. "I'm sorry about Kiyoshi. He should be greeting you right now, but instead, he's in his room." She pouted.

I awkwardly giggled. "It's okay. After what happened at the aquarium, I can't blame him."

Aoi frowned. "I'm sorry. I knew he was upset but I didn't know he would punch Akihiro."

"I'll go talk to him."

In Front of Kiyoshi's Room

I knocked on the front door but there was no answer. "Kiyoshi?" I put my fist near the door as my heart started to ache. "I'm sorry I hurt you... Just because we aren't dating, doesn't mean that I don't care about you. At the aquarium, those were your true feelings, right? It was my first time seeing you like that..."

Kiyoshi quickly opened the door and looked at me with his determined eyes. "Takami, you don't have to feel sorry. I know that you and Aki have a past together, but things have changed now. Aki is engaged to Mariko. How long do you think it will take for Aki to finally break the engagement? Do you even know if he will succeed?"

I put my hands near my heart as it started to ache. "I don't..." All of a sudden, my eyes started to get teary.

He sighed and hugged me. "I know that I haven't been acting like myself for a few days, but I don't want to continue seeing you get hurt. You're amazing... You shouldn't be waiting for someone to be happy."

My eyes widened and then I clenched my fist. "Thank you."

- Akihiro's POV -

In Kaito's Office

"Big brother, I will no longer be in your control." I looked directly at Kaito. "And I won't marry someone that I don't love."

Mariko stood next to Kaito, who was sitting at his desk. "But Aki... I love you... Our marriage would be beneficial for both families."

Kaito got up from his chair and looked at me with hatred. "If you do not follow orders, you will no longer be welcomed here."

I looked down at the floor. "This has always been my household since I was little. Even though I didn't have the best experience, I can't imagine my life without it." Then, I clenched my fist and looked back at Kaito. "Because it has always caused me to have anxiety. The reason why I came back was to protect Hakata Seisho High School... and my friends. However, now that it's gone and my friends have stayed by my side, I am no longer tied to this place. I should've done this a long time ago." I turned around and walked closer to the door. "Goodbye, brother."

Outside of the Estate

The sun beamed directly at my face and I tried to cover it with my arm. "I wonder if things are going to be different now."

"Wait!"

I turned around and saw Mariko running towards me. "Mariko, I know you like me but I can't continue to pursue a relationship with you when I don't feel the same way."

She bent down, putting her hands on her thighs, trying to catch her breath. "Are you going to go back to her?"

"She's waited long enough."

Mariko clenched her fist for a second and then released it. "She's really lucky to have you." She smiled gently.

My eyes widened from shock and I smiled. "And someone would be lucky to have you. Someone who would accept the amount of affection you give them."

She giggled. "The amount of affection I gave you was probably too much, right?"

I giggled as well. "A little clingy, but that isn't a bad thing."

- Takami's POV -

Aoi knocked in front of Kiyoshi's door and peeked inside. "Are you guys good?"

Kiyoshi and I sat on his bed and smiled at her. "Yep." We said in unison.

She came in with a big smile and looked at Kiyoshi's desk. "Aww, the goldfish that Takami got you. Did you give it a name yet?"

"I named it Blossoms." Kiyoshi walked up to the goldfish bowl.

"Aww, that's such a cute name." Aoi touched the goldfish bowl and tried to make Blossoms follow it.

"I named it that because I realized my feelings for Takami at the Cherry Blossoms Festival." He looked back at me with his gentle eyes.

"But you guys aren't dating, why would it have that kind of meaning?" Aoi tilted her head.

"It's good to remind myself that these feelings for her are a good thing. It shouldn't turn into hate or something else. They just mean that I care about her."

I blushed and looked the other way. "You didn't have to say that when I'm right here." I immediately closed my eyes.

Aoi's mouth was left open. "I don't get it..."

Kiyoshi patted Aoi's head and smiled. "You'll get it once you have your first relationship."
