- Takami's POV -
I knocked on the bathroom door. "Kenta! Hurry up!"
He stood his head out of the bathroom. "Why should I?"
Cross-popping veins appeared on my forehead. "Because I have a date today."
"Who would wanna date you?" Kenta smirked.
"That's it!!" I tried to grab Kenta but quickly closed the door. "Just hurry up!" I went back to my room and looked through my closet. "I feel really guilty... Maybe I should call it off." I grabbed my phone and opened Junto on Messages.
Takami: I'm sorry, but I can't go today.
Am I doing the right thing? I don't wanna hurt Junto's feelings either. I quickly deleted the message.
Beep
I looked at the messages and saw that Junto messaged me.
Junto: Sorry, I can't go on our date today. Maybe next time.
I sighed in relief. Even though I know I shouldn't have agreed to a date, I would still feel bad if I said no.
"Bathroom ready." Kenta stood his head in my room.
"Never mind. I don't need it."
"Ugh! Then why did I poo rapid fire?" Kenta rolled his eyes and went back to his room.
"Wowow, wait a second. Rapid fire poo?" I wore a white mini dress with a jean jacket from my closet. "Kenta! I'm gonna go out and get lunch!"
"Get me some Udon!!" He yelled from his room.
As I put on my shoes, I said, "Yeah yeah..."
At the SuperMarket
I looked around the supermarket for Udon until I bumped into someone. "I'm so sorry." I looked up and saw Aki. "Aki?"
"Takami? What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I'm here getting some Udon. You?"
"Nothing really. I just needed some fresh air."
"In a supermarket?" I tilted my head. Aki awkwardly giggled; then I giggled.
"Wait a minute, aren't you suppose to be on a date with Junto?" He asked.
"How do you know?"
"He was really excited when you said yes."
I looked to the side. "I didn't want to upset him if I did regret him. Besides, I already have eyes for someone else."
Aki came closer to my face. "Really? Who?"
I started to blush. I immediately turned around. "It's not like you need to know. Now, if you don't mind, I need to buy some Udon." I headed for the noodles until Aki stopped me.
"Do you mind if I come over and eat some Udon as well?"
I looked at him curiously. "Doesn't Mrs. Suzu cook for you?"
"Yeah, but I don't wanna be a burden."
I smiled, "Sure, why not."
At Home
I started to take off my shoes. "Kenta! I'm home!"
"Who's Kenta?" Aki asked.
"He's my little brother."
Kenta came running down the stairs. "You got the stuff?" I sighed and grabbed the box of mochi ice cream. "I love you, sis." His eyes started to sparkle.
"Oh, please. I know you're only using me." I put the udon down on the table in the kitchen.
He evilly giggled. "You know me so well." Then he looked up at Aki. "Who are you?"
"This is Aki, a friend from school." I started to take out the Udon from the plastic bag.
Kenta continued to look up at him. "What tactics did you use to get him here?"
I looked back. "Huh?"
He walked closer to me. "There's no way, someone of his level, will come home with you."
"Excuse me?"
"He's just too good-looking!" Kenta pointed at Aki.
"Kenta! Go back to your room!" Kenta stuck out his tongue and ran back upstairs. I sighed and sweat-dropped. "I'm so sorry about him."
"Good-looking?"
20 Minutes Later
"Kenta! The Udon is ready!" I put down three bowls of Udon on the table.
Kenta quickly ran down and sat at the table. He clapped his hands together and said, "Thank you for the meal."
Aki also came to the table and started to eat the Udon. "Damn, this is good Udon."
I put the equipment in the sink. "Not really, it's kinda store-bought."
"Isn't my sister the best?" Kenta told Aki. "She cooks and cleans the house."
I rolled my eyes. "Don't flatter yourself. I'm not gonna cook and clean for you." I dried my wet hands and sat at the table.
"You guys seem pretty close." Aki ate his Udon.
"I guess," Kenta replied.
"No, we're not."
Aki laughed. "I wish I had a little brother."
"You can have this one, if you want." I smiled and pointed at Kenta.
Kenta pouted, "Don't just give me away!"
I evilly laughed.
"You're so different when you're at home." Aki looked at me. "At school you act so elegant, but at home..."
I looked at my bowl of Udon. "That's because when I'm outside, I feel like everyone's judging me. It doesn't matter if they don't say it, they think it."
Everything was silent. "Umm... I'm gonna go now." Kenta quickly grabbed his bowl and ran upstairs.
"You don't have to feel that way. Besides, you're perfect the way you are." Aki continued to look at me.
I blushed and looked away. "Um... thank you."
Aki stood up and put his bowl in the sink. "I should get going. My grandmother is probably worrying about me."
I got up and walked Aki to the front door. "I would come with you but I have to watch over my little brother."
Aki put on his shoes and opened the door. "I see you at school."
"Byeeee." I closed the door and sighed happily. Then I remembered what happened. "Kenta! Why did you tell him those things!" I ran up the stairs.
Kenta giggled. "Because it's soo obvious that you like him."
"What you mean?!?"
