- Takami's POV -

Outside of My House

I opened the front door of my room with a brown bag and walked in while taking off my shoes. "Kenta, I'm home!"

Kenta ran quickly downstairs and greeted me the way he always does. "You got the stuff?"

I sighed. "The ramen is inside." I handed him the bag.

"Nice!" Kenta quickly put the bag on the table and took out the ramen. "How was your new school?"

I raised an eyebrow. "Now, you're curious about me?" I smiled.

"Just curious of how life is with Aki." He opened the plastic cup that the ramen was in.

I gulped and fake smiled, "I'm fine."

"I'm home!" Mom yelled in the house while taking off her shoes.

"Mom, why are you back so early?" I asked.

"I brought some work from my office to do at home. Seriously, the office is driving me crazy!" She walked into the living room and put down her stuff.

"You want some food, Mom?" I stuck my head in the living room.

"No, thanks. I really need to focus on work." She tried to organize her work on the table.

I walked upstairs and went to my bedroom to lay on my bed. Suddenly, my phone started to vibrate and I took it out of my pocket.

Sachie Calling...

I smiled and answered the call. "Sachie!"

"Hey, Takami. How was your new school?"

I got up from my bed and sat on it. "It was okay. I only made one friend though."

Sachie giggled. "Are you counting how many friends you have now?"

"Pffffttt... no...?" I scratched my head. "Soo how was your first day of school?"

She sighed. "It feels like Haru and I are isolated from the class. They won't even talk to us."

I smiled. "Don't worry. I'm sure you'll make friends in no time. You just have this personality, you know?"

"Thanks, just gonna try harder tomorrow." She sighed. "Now that we're in different schools, I can't copy your homework anymore. So sad."

I giggled. "You should be doing your own homework in the first place."

She giggled as well. "Gotta go now."

"Bye."

Call Ends...

I sighed. "Life without Aki? I mean I can still call him." I told myself.

Calling Aki...

I laid back down on my bed and waited for him to answer. It had been 30 seconds and the ringing stopped. "Aki?"

Please leave your message for 012...

I immediately hung up and started to message him.

Me: We haven't talked much lately. Give me a call?

"I hate this..." I got up from my bed and walked out of the house. I headed for the park to clear my mind until I saw someone in a wheelchair with a familiar back. "Junto?"

He turned his chair around and his eyes widened. "Takami?"

At the Park

"I thought you were moving to Hiroshima?" I sat on the swings as Junto sat in his wheelchair next to me.

"I had to come back and get some stuff I forgot." He looked down at the floor, avoiding eye contact. "How was your new school?"

I tried to avoid eye contact as well. "It's okay. On my first day, people surrounded me to ask me questions but I got through it with my new friend." I smiled.

"Kiyoshi?" He asked.

"Yeah." I looked at his legs and my heart started to ache.

"Um... I should probably go get my stuff now." Junto rolled out of the park.

As he rolled out, I looked at his back. "I'm sorry."

At Home

I yawned and looked in the living room. "Mom, you still working?"

"Yeah," She yawned as well. "It's likely I'm gonna stay up all night."

I walked upstairs and went into my room to get a change of clothes after I take a shower.

30 Minutes Later

I walked out of the bathroom and went to my bedroom to lay in bed. "Well, today was pretty uneventful." I slowly closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

- Akihiro's POV -

Junto, Haru, and I were walking down the hallways until we saw Sachie and Takami, walking toward us.

Sachie saw Junto and started to run toward him. "Junto! I got tickets to a movie theater. Wanna come?" She shrugged her shoulder and smiled.

He giggled. "Sure. It sounds fun."

"I also got movie tickets for all of us." She gave us one of the movie tickets.

"I can't wait to get to know you better, Akihiro." Takami smiled while holding her movie ticket.

I blinked twice out of confusion and looked at the others. "Takami? You don't remember me?"

She tilted her head. "Should I?"

"We've been best friends since we were little. You used to illegally come into my house." I chuckled a little bit.

She looked at me confused. "I think you got the wrong person." She turned around.

I quickly grabbed her hand. Suddenly, we were on the school's roof. "Takami..."

"Aki..." She turned around and smiled. "I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me. Thanks to you our lives couldn't be better."

I got down on my knees and started crying. "This hurts... Being tortured everyday... Being separated from you..."

Takami got down on her knees as well and hugged me. "It's okay... Even though we can't see each other, I would never forget the way you made me feel. We began so close so fast."

I hughed her tighter. "I feel the same way. That's why..." I pulled her away and held onto her shoulders. "I will fight until I see you again."

She giggled. "You're being too dramatic."

Back to the Present

I slowly closed my eyes and realized I slept on the garden's bench with Mariko's head on my lap. I looked up and saw the full moon shining down on us. "Why did I have that dream?" I put my head on my forehead and took out my phone.

Takami: We haven't talked much lately. Give me a call?

"Stupid dream." I held onto the message on my phone and pressed delete.
