Chapter 23: Kenta with Aki

- Takami's POV - 

ZzZzZzZzZzZzZz

I slowly opened my eyes and looked a the ceiling.

"Why doesn't he like me?" I sighed.

"Because you look like a pig." Kenta popped into my room and giggled.

"Shut it, pig's little brother." I looked at him and smirked.

"Pffft, well played." He walked out of the room and popped back in again. "Do you remember you promised me that I could have a day with Akihiro?"

"No, and you're not going too." I got up from my bed and headed to the bathroom.

"Why not!" Kenta yelled from my room.

"I have my reasons, now let me use the bathroom in peaceee!" I closed the door to the bathroom.

Time Lapse: 30 Minutes Later

I laid down on my bed and continued to look at the ceiling until I heard someone knock at the door.

Sleeping, I went downstairs to open the door until Kenta ran downstairs as well and threw me across the house quickly.

He opened the door and fake smiled. "Hi, Akihiro!"

I walked up to Kenta while rubbing my head. "What's your problem...?"

"I just wanted to greet Big Brother Aki." He smiled brightly.

"Wait, I call him Aki?"

"Not anymore." Kenta looked at me with a death stare.

I sweat-dropped. "Sure... call him Aki. I'm gonna go back upstairs." Then, I turned around confused. "Wait, why are you even here?"

"I got your message." Aki pulled out his phone. "Hurry! Come quick! No questions! I need help with something called a period?"

I started to blush hard. "Kenta!"

He turned around and stuck out his tongue. "I need a reason for him to come here."

"How do you even know what a period is?" I asked him.

"Well, I was scrolling through my feed and saw an article related to periods."

My mouth widened and I blinked twice. "You're disgusting, we need to evaluate your life." I turned around. "An article on periods???"

"Wait, do you really need help with periods?" Aki asked.

"Of course not! He used my phone to message you to come over here."

"Why did you do that?" He looked down at Kenta.

"Because I want to experience having an older brother." Kenta grabbed Aki's arm. "Come on, let's go play some video games." He dragged him upstairs.

I sighed. "I really don't want to deal with him now." I went to my bedroom and laid back down on my bed. I opened my phone and scrolled through my feed. Sachie posted a photo of Junto holding her. "That feeling must be nice." I looked over at my desk with the photo of Aki and me when we were little. "It would've been nice if you didn't leave..."

- Akihiro's POV -

"What game you wanna play?" I asked Kenta.

"I wanna play Super Mario Brothers!" Kenta jumped in excitement and grabbed the disc.

"I actually never played a Mario game before." I awkwardly giggled.

"Seriously? What did you do when you were little?" He put the disc in the console.

"Play basketball at the park." I sat on the floor and Kenta gave me a remote.

"You play on a team, right?" Kenta sat down next to me.

"Yeah, how'd you know?" I asked.

"Takami talks about you all the time with Mom."

"Really?"

"Yeah, that's why I wanted to hang out with you. You seem like a cool dude." Kenta smiled.

I smiled as well. "Thanks. I can't believe Takami talks about me."

Kenta giggled. "Yeah, I think she has a crush on you."

"That's too bad." I leaned back on the bed.

"Why?"

"Because I'm moving." I looked at him and smiled.

"What! You're moving?? Why?!?"

"My older brother needs help running the company." I sighed.

"A company??? Are you rich???"

I sweat-dropped. "Yeah, I kinda am."

"I'm gonna go tell my sister that you're leaving." Kenta got up and headed for Takami's room.

I quickly held onto his arm. "I'll tell her myself when the time is right."

"If you want." He sat back down next to me and we started to play the game.

Out of nowhere, Kenta asked, "So do you like my sister?"

"Why you asking?" I continued to be concentrated in the game.

"Well, my sister likes you and you're leaving soon. I just don't want my sister to be hurt." He paused the game and looked at me seriously.

I smiled. "Yeah, I like your sister, but you can't tell her, okay?" I stuck out my pinkie finger.

He smiled and stuck out his pinkie finger as well. "I promise."
