- Takami's POV -

Bell Rings

"What you wanna do after school?" Sachie asked while she sat on top of her desk.

I started to put my books into my school bag. "Don't you have work?"

"Oh yeah..." She stuck her tongue out and winked. "I forgot."

"I mean, if you want, I can stay with you until your shift is over." I smiled.

"Oh, Takami." Her eyes started to get teary. "I love you!!!" Tears came down her face rapidly.

I sweat-dropped. "No problem."

At the School Entrance

Two vertical lines of guys formed in front of the school. "Have a nice day, Takami and Sachie!"

"Thank you, you too." I smiled gently and walked down.

"Thanks! See you guys tomorrow!" Sachie jumped in excitement and followed me.

After we left school grounds, I put my head against the wall. "This is just too much... Is this gonna happen every day... I can't take this much pressure..." Suddenly, my hands started to move weirdly.

Sachie widened her mouth. "Oh my god! What are you doing!" She then sweat-dropped. "You would think to have to go through this every day, you'll get used to it."

"I can't help it. Outside I'm all calm, but in the inside, I'm a mess." My eyes started to get teary.

Sachie put her arm around my neck. "Don't worry about it. Let me get you some milk tea, on the house."

"Really?" I looked up at Sachie.

"You know I'll never lie to you." She smiled widely.

We started to walk to Tapioca, the place where Sachie works.

"How long will it take us to get there?" I asked.

"Not very long. It's only a 15-minute walk." Sachie accidentally bumped into someone, walking in the opposite direction as us. "Sorry."

"It's okay." The guy looked up and said.

My eyes widened as I stopped walking. While he was walking past me, everything was in slow motion.

My hair covered my eyes. "Is that you? Aki?" I whispered.

"Sorry, I think you've got the wrong person." The guy continued to walk.

Sachie turned around. "What's wrong, Takami?"

I looked up and smiled. "Nothing, I'm coming."

"Why did you just stand there?" She asked.

At Tapioca

"It's actually not that packed today." I walked over to a table.

"Oh well! That means less work for me!" She smiled while walking to the Staff Only Door.

I took out my phone and texted my mom.

Me: Gonna be home late.

Suddenly, two guys sat near me after I put my phone away.

"Hey, little lady. How are ya?" One of the guys asked me.

"Um... good, thank you." I tried to avoid eye contact.

"You don't mind if we sit next to you, do you?" The other guy said.

"Um..."

"Sorry, for the wait." I looked up and saw Junto in front of me.

"Pffft, she already got a man." Both of the guys moved away.

I sighed. "Thank you."

"No problem." Junto sat across from me.

"How did you know I was here?" I asked.

"I saw you through the window with two strange men, so I decided to come in." He put his arm on the chair.

"Thanks again." I smiled.

Junto blushed and looked away.

"Oh, Junto, what are you doing here?" Sachie placed the milk tea in front of me.

"I was just on my way home and saw Takami inside, so I came in."

"Let me get you some milk tea!" She looked around rapidly and quickly took my drink as I was about to drink it.

"Hey!" I yelled.

"Here you go!" Sachie blushed.

"Um..." Junto's face was blank for a second but he then looked up at her and smiled. "Thanks."

Sachie blushed even harder and yanked me to the bathroom.

"So..."

"Oh my god! Did you see the way he looked at me! Oh my god! I think I'm falling in love all over again." She rapidly paced back and forth in the bathroom.

"...my drink...?"

"Did you see his smile!!!" Sachie jumped on top of me.

"Yes! I saw it!" I started to wabble to keep balance.

Suddenly, a customer opened the door and our facial expressions were blank.

"I'm just gonna wait..." The customer closed the door, leaving Sachie's and my face blank.

"I hope you weren't bored when I was using the restroom." I smiled as I walked to the table.

"No, not at all." His face was suddenly at ease, for some reason.

"Um... you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

I sat across from him and looked to the side. "I'm glad that things are cool between us even though what happened."

Junto sighed. "There's no reason for things to be different because someday we'll be together." He smiled.

I looked up shocked from his response but still smiled. "That's nice to hear." I immediately realized what I said. "About things be the same, of course." I awkwardly giggled.

Junto put his head on his hand. "Yeah..."
