"It was so weird though!" I tell my friends as we walk to class after breakfast "so she didn't say what was endangering you?" Fluttershy asks I shake my head "no she didn't and it's not just me it's the whole school" I tell her "shouldn't you tell Celestia?" Twilight suggests I shake my head "no she's going to have enough to deal with if what Autumn Blaze says was true" I tell her Apple Jack shakes her head "I just can't believe this" she says "first the stone now what every this is!" she exclaims "I wonder if every year will be this eventful?" Pinkie wonders aloud

We round a corner and are stopped by a group of people blocking our way "what could it mean?" Flash asks I push my way to the front of the crowd and gasp "it's in blood!" a girl screams "the chamber of secrets has been opened enemies of the air beware" someone reads aloud Scootaloo rushes up to me "what's going on?" she asks me I pull her into a hug wrapping my arms around her protectively "I won't let it get you" I tell her she wriggles in my arms to look at the wall she gasps in fear "what does it mean?" she asks me I shake my head "I don't know" I tell her "but it means something bad" I tell her Fluttershy screams and faints Rarity catches her.

"What's wrong darling?" she asks Fluttershy points at the torch next to the message. When Rarity turns her head she drops Fluttershy and screams looking at the stiff cat hanging by its tail on the torch. I let go of Scootaloo and race over to Rarity stopping her before she could get to her cat. "Oh, no Opalescence!" Rarity screams trying to get past me "let me see her!" she yells at me I look over to Apple Jack for back up but it's Davenport who takes Rarity away. I move back into the crowd and find Scootaloo comforting Sweetie Belle "go" I tell Sweetie she runs after Rarity and Davenport.

"Do not be alarmed!" Celestia says coming to standing at the front of the crowd "Opalescence is only petrified Professor Cadence has a plant that can cure this" Celestia tells us "now all of you head to class" the crowd dissolves as everyone walked to class "Headmistress!" I call "yes?" she asks turning around "could you check on Rarity I'm worried about her she really loved her cat" she nods to me "of course" she smiles walking in the direction Rarity had left.

I turn to Scootaloo who had found Apple Bloom "come on you two" I say they follow me "I don't want either of you walking alone from now on" I tell them they nod "are you worried?" Apple Bloom asked me "I would have to be stupid to not be," I tell them before turning into Spitfire's classroom.

I sit down next to Rarity as Spitfire starts the lesson. "I hope you all brought what I asked for," she says looking around "good now if you all could-" she breaks off when Twilight's hand shots into the air "what is it Sparkle?" Spitfire asks "Professor I was wondering if you could tell us about the chamber of secrets," Twilight says the class goes dead quiet waiting for Spitfire to say something. She sits down behind her desk taking off her sunglasses and rubbing the bridge of her nose. She puts her sunglasses on top of our head "you all know the four founders of the school Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin" Spitfire says standing up "three of them thought that anyone who posses magic should be able to be taught about it but the other did not. Slytherin believed that pureblood should only be allowed to learn magic." she shakes her head and takes a deep breath

"they all refused in retaliation he builds a chamber that he called the chamber of secrets the legends say that it's home to a monster" she sighs "the school has been searched by they've never found the chamber," she tells us "what else does legend say?" Twilight asks "that's all it said but I think I should tell you all this isn't the first time the chamber has been opened" a few people gasp "the last time it was opened one of the students died" she tells us "now if you would read your books" she tells us sitting down at her desk.

I notice that she didn't pick up a magazine like normal instead she sat looking haunted by the memory of the chamber of secrets.
