I watch as a green ray of light flies right past me and hides Suri in the chest she smiles at me before falling to the ground "NO!" I scream running over to Suri's motionless body "that's going to happen to everyone you care about Rainbow Dash unless you let me kill you" Chrysalis says smiling evilly at me "no!" I yell at her "these people are willing to lose their lives to stop you and so am I. You've killed my parents, best friend, and now my godmother so now it's your turn. Others may also die and you will be among them" I inform her standing up from off the ground she smiles at me. "That was very well said but terribly wrong for you see every life lost will be your fault for not letting me kill you," she says smiling wider "who's to save you won't kill them anyway?" I ask her raising my eyebrow she laughs humourlessly

"Enough talking!" Adagio yells coming to stand beside Chrysalis "let us fight!" Adagio says angrily "I think I can arrange that," Chrysalis says with a sickening grin "ATTACK!" she yells her side instantly send spells flying past me I don't get a chance to look at Soarin before rushing into battle. "Avada Kedavra" I duck as the green ray of light blast past me I watch as it hits a death eater "Rainbow!" Pinkie yells I turn to her and she points to where a black cape just disappeared "Sombra!" she yells I nod before running after him. I watch as he slips into a room with Chrysalis I duck under the window and listen to their conversation "it is the most powerful wand" Sombra says "I don't doubt that yet it still resists me" Chrysalis says in the most bone-chilling voice I'd ever heard "tonight when the boy comes it will not fail you. It answers to you and you only " Sombra says surely to Chrysalis she smiles evilly "does it? the wand does it truly answer to me?" she asks walking around him slowly "You're a clever man Sombra surely you must know. Where does it's true loyalty lie?" she asks "with you of course" Sombra confirms "it cannot serve me properly because I am not it's true master. The wand belongs to the person who killed its owner" she tells him

Sombra doesn't move as Chrysalis moves towards him "you killed Celestia Sombra" she says plainly "while you live the wand cannot truly be mine" she says I had to cover my mouth to make sure I didn't gasp at this news with that she says something to the giant snake next to her and it attacks Sombra. He groans in pain as the snake bites him multiple times I watch in horror as Chrysalis smiles and leaves with her snake at her side. Quickly I get up and rush into the room covering the gash in Sombra's neck with my hand he looks at me as a tear falls from his eye "take them" he chokes "take them" he repeats pointing at his tears he hands me a small bottle from his pocket and I collect his tears in it "take them to Celestia's old room there's a bowl on her desk put them in there." he tells me as he continues to cry he looks at me more closely "you have your mother's eyes" he tells me he grunts before turning his head and stays still.I look down at the vile in my hand and instantly take off running. I rush into the school pushing past pairs of fighting people and sending a couple of spells at death eaters as I ran to Celestia's old office. Before entering I look around me and quickly slip into the room and lock the door. Slowly I walk to the front of the room where her desk stood and on top of it was a large bowl filled with water I take the vile and pour Sombra's tears into it. The liquid turns black and I dip my head down to look closer but suddenly I'm sucked into the bowl.

A younger version of my mother and her sister stand in front of me in a quiet meadow. My mother opens her hand revealing a flower that blooms in the palm of her hand she looks up from the flower and smiles at her sister "freak!" her sister says smacking the flower out of her hand. My mother runs up a hill to get away from her sister "come here!" her sister yells after her "I'm going to tell mommy! You're a freak Windy!" she mocks chasing after her. Suddenly from the base of the tree at the top of the hill, a boy appears and walks towards my mother. The younger Sombra smiles at her kindly and her sister runs away. He picks up a leaf from the ground and flies it to her she reaches out and catches it in the palm of her hand. She looks down at it then smiles up at him he smiles back.

The memory fasts forwards a bit. The pair are laying on the ground next to the tree "she's jealous she's ordinary and you're special" Sombra tells my mother "that's mean Sombra" the vision changes and suddenly we're in Hogwarts standing in the great hall. My mother had the sorting hat on her head "Gryffindor!" the hat yells my mother smiles as she gets up off the stool she sits down at the Gryffindor table "hi I'm Bow" my father introduces "I'm Windy" she tells him Sombra gazes at her as she talks to my father. The vision changes again now my mother and Sombra were walking down the hall side by side my father runs between then and turns back staring at Sombra smirking at him before smiling at my mother.

The vision changes again now my parents all grown up and happy together. It changes now Sombra is with Celestia "the prophecy did not refer to a woman. It spoke of a girl born at the end of July" Celestia tells him "yes but it's her son" Sombra says as tears fall from his eyes "he wants to hunt them down and kill them. Hide them. Hide them all I beg you" Sombra says Celestia walks towards him "what will you give me in return?" Celestia asks "anything," Sombra says.

The vision changes to a few years ago right after my parents were killed "you were to keep her safe" Sombra sobs "Windy and Bow were trying to save their daughter Sombra. The girl survived" Celestia tells him Sombra shakes his head "it doesn't need protection the Chrysalis is gone" Sombra says "it doesn't matter she will return and the girl will be in danger" Celestia tells him Sombra looks away "she has her eyes" Celestia says Sombra turns to look at Celestia again "if you truly loved her" Celestia says Sombra stops her "no one can know" he tells her Celestia turns away suddenly much more serious then better "there will come a time when Rainbow Dash will need to know something" she tells him "but you must wait until Chrysalis is the most vulnerable" she informs him he turns on her "must be told what?" Sombra asks "On the night when Chrysalis went to kill Rainbow and Gilda cast herself between them the curse rebounded when that happened a part of Chrysalis soul attached itself to the only living thing it could find. Rainbow herself. A part of Chrysalis lives inside her." Sombra looks stunned

"so when the time comes the girl must die," Sombra asks Celestia nods "yes she must die. Chrysalis herself must do it"
