The band starts up as the four champions gather on the field. I glance at the maze behind me afraid and nervous for what could be inside it I shake my head and let out a sigh not showing any trace of my true emotions to Soarin. He smiles at me and grabs my hand "in the maze you have face your greatest fear" Celestia warns us "if at any point you wish to leave the maze send up red sparks. When the whistle is blown Angel Wings will enter the maze first. Second whistle Rainbow Dash will go. Third whistle Soarin and then Sassy Saddles. The Triwizard cup has been hidden in the maze that is what you're looking for first to the cup wins" Celestia says

"Champions take your places!" Luna yells Soarin hugs me tightly before walking to his place I watch as the whistle blows and Angel Wings running into the maze the walls closing where she had just been after what felt like forever the whistle blows and I run into the maze. The fog was covering the ground as I jog further into the maze as I jog I feel a breeze hit the back of my leg I look behind me and see that the maze walls were closing in. I run until I get to the end and have to turn so I go left and keep running until I run into something. We both fall and I get Soarin smiles when he sees me "are you hurt?" he asks I shake my head "no but the walls keep closing" I tell him he nods "I've had a few close calls myself" he tells me "I guess we should go different ways" he says sadly turning the way I had come but I grab him.

"No those walls just closed we'll go different ways at the next one," I tell him he nods as we jog along the trail stopping at the next turn. I hug him before going left I continue to jog when I hear a girl scream. It sounded close so I turn to it and watch as Sassy Saddles was being dragged under the bush. I run up to her and try pulling her out but I was too late. I send red sparks into the air and continue on turning right at the next corner. As I jog along I tell wind hit my leg again and start running. As I run someone else runs with me and I turn to see Angel Wings. We stop running as we get to the next turn where the walls stopped. We pat for a second then the wall in front of us moves and down the long way, we see the glow of the Triwizard cup.

We look at each other before racing towards it pushing each other to get there first suddenly Angel Wings isn't at my side so I run faster "Rainbow Dash!" she yells I turn around to see that the walls were trying to drag her under "help!" she yells I look to the cup then back and her and start running. I lean down to help her by pulling the bush away she frees herself and we both stand panting when the wind picks up. We both run for the cup side by side "take it!" she yells over the wind I shake my head "no you take it" I say we both look at each other and grab it at the same time.

The cup spins and we land. I look up to see we were in a graveyard and right in front of us was Tempest Shadow "Angel Wings get back to the cup!" I yell getting up to run but Tempest Shadow grabs me and holds me back "kill the spare" I hear a voice say "NO!" I yell "Avada kedavra!" Tempest Shadow says from behind me "ANGEL!" I yell her eyes go wide as the green ray of light hits her. She falls to the ground eyes wide open. Tempest Shadow takes me to a grave and ties me to it. Tempest Shadow lights a fire under a cauldron and walks over to me "bone from the father" she says raising her wand a bone flies form under the ground and floats in mid-air as Tempest Shadow puts it into her brew "unknowingly given" she says walking over to the cauldron "flesh from the servant" she says raising a knife "willingly sacrificed" she says slicing her hand off "blood of the enemy" she says smirking at me knife in hand "forcefully taken" she slices my arms open and takes some on my blood.

I scream as the blade touches my arm. "The darkness will rise" Tempest Shadow smiles as the blood drips into the cauldron. She walks away and comes back holding something in her arms. She drops it into the cauldron as it splashes in she laughs happily. The thing rises from the cauldron growing until it's human-sized it smiles at Tempest Shadow then me "it was very kind of you to join us Rainbow Dash" Chrysalis says smiling at me she walks over to me and unties the ropes.

"I want you to duel me right now" she says smiling evilly "I'm guessing you know how?" she asks I nod looking down at the ground "look at me when I talk to you!" she yells grabbing my arm I scream in pain as a flame shots up my arm when she touches my cutie mark. She smirks at me then turns around seeing my chance I run to Angel Wings "Accio cup!" I yell the Triwizard cup flies into my hand.

As we land I hear cheers. I grab onto Angel Wing's tighter the crowd screams when they see Angel Wings dead "Rainbow!" Soarin yells rushing over to me he pulls me away from Angel Wing's body but I struggle against him "NO!" I shout then give in crying into his chest "come here" Professor Will says taking me from Soarin. Professor Will drags me up to his office where he then closes the door.

"What happened tonight was no accident," he says locking the door "sir?" I ask looking up at him "who do you think jinxed that hat?" he asks "who told Angel Wings to put that egg in the water?" He asks raising his voice "who just happened to have gillyweed?" he asks pointing to himself "it was you?" I ask he laughs "of course it was. The darkness has risen and with it, your death comes even closer!" he says walking towards me "mistress will be so proud when I bring your dead body to her" the door breaks down and Professor Will is pinned to the wall.

I look in the doorway and see Celestia, Spitfire, Luna, and Sombra walking into the office "who are you?" Celestia asks holding the man by the throat "Professor Will" the man says "Sombra!" Celestia says Sombra pours some liquid down his throat and the man starts twitching he turns into someone else and glares up at Celestia "Grogar" she gasps looking down at the man "get her out of here" Celestia says to Luna who grabs me and takes me out of the room where Soarin was waiting "I thought I'd never see you again" he says holding me tightly "you might if you leave" I say letting a tear fall from my eye "I'm coming here next year I've talked to both Fire Streak and Celestia and they said it was okay."

I let out a sigh of relief "besides I know it's not safe here and that you'll need me" he says holding me tighter "I'll always need you" I whisper
