Twilight had been very distant in the days following. She'd spend hours every day going to the library to stop whatever it was attacking the muggle borns in the school. By now there were five bodies frozen in horror at what they'd seen. My question was always how did they survive. If Moon Dancer had died how did they not? I keep asking myself questions but nothing seemed to help the matter. The only people really trying were Twilight and headmistress Celestia with each victim she seemed more anxious to close the chamber. Every muggle born was looking over their shoulder as they walked the halls afraid of what would happen if they didn't.

I walk out of my Transfiguration class and walk down the hall with Pinkie and Rarity Twilight was walking behind us some ways "how long has she been like this?" I ask Rarity "some time" she explains "we haven't talked in a while. I've been trying but she always has a book in front of her face" Rarity says sadly "why don't we cheer her up?" Pinkie asks hopefully "you can try Pinkie but I doubt it will work," Rarity tells her Pinkie stops walk and starts to walk with Twilight instead "what should we do?" I ask Rarity she shakes her head "I have no clue but I guess we should leave her."

As Rarity and I round a corner lost in conversation Twilight drops her books and screams "what is it?" I ask running up to her. Her faces turn pure white as she points her finger at the opposite wall "her skeleton will lie in the chamber forever" I read Rarity screams and runs away I grab Twilight's shoulders "I'm here. Nothing can get you." I tell her someone else screams and I turn around to see Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom looking at the wall in pure terror I look at Twilight before rushing over to them. "Apple Bloom go get a teacher," I tell her she nods and runs off. I grab Sweetie Belle's hand gently and walk her over to were Twilight and Pinkie were standing.

"You're all right" I console Sweetie Belle who broke out in sobs "you're okay," I tell her Rarity walks around the corner and I let go of Sweetie Belle who runs into her sister's arms. Students started to crowd around gazing at the wall "where's my sister!" Apple Jack asks rushing up to me "I sent her to get a teacher" I tell her Apple Jack sighs in relief "I need to find Mac" she says rushing around I walk over to Twilight and Pinkie still stunned by the discovery. "What's going on," Celestia asks rounding the corner she gasps at the wall "get to class all or you. Better yet go back to your houses" the crowd breaks off Pinkie starts walking to our house but I pull her behind a walk as the teachers gather around "what should we do?" Professor Cadence asks "Should we send the students home?" Professor Luna asks "I think it's come to that" Headmistress Celestia I walk around the corner 

"too bad, I knew where the Chamber was to," Davenport says confidently the teachers look at him "then you can go and say the girl," Celestia says he nods "right I'll be in my office," he thinks "getting ready" he tells them running off to his office.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but my friend's sister went to look for one of you a few minutes ago and I haven't seen her since," I tell the teachers they all gasp at me looking back at the wall. My blood runs ice cold as I realize what they thought had happened to her "no" I say sadly I shake my head "but she's a pureblood there's no way-" Celestia walks up to me and puts her hands on my shoulders "I'm afraid that we can't rule anything out at the moment. Go back to your house Spitfire will take rule some" I nod my head "could she wait for Cadence? I need to know Apple Bloom is safe" I ask Celestia thinks for a minute then nods "yes she can," she tells me I nod and walk down the hall meeting Pinkie on my way. "What are we going to do?" she asks "the only thing we can do," I say sighing "go back to our house and-" I gasp as we turn the corner.

Pinkie and I both scream as we look down at the stone figure of Twilight "no!" Pinkie screams rushing to Twilight's side "this can't be happening" I say backing away "Twilight?!" Rarity calls "Rarity!" I yell she rushes over to me and screams breaking into a sob as she sees Twilight on the ground. "Is she dead?" Rarity screams I turn around and take off in the direction I had just come "Headmistress" I yell running into the hallway I had just seen her in "what is it Rainbow Dash?" she asks walking up to me "It's Twilight" I tell her out of breath "the monster" I gasp "it got her" I tell her headmistress Celestia looks at her co-workers before following me.

She frowns as she looks at Twilight a question forming in her mind but she didn't dare ask it at that moment. "Rainbow" she calls as she kneels next to Twilight "would you help me get her to the hospital wing?" I nod my head as we both lift her "you two go back to your houses" Celestia tells them Pinkie hesitates "I'll be back soon" I tell her she nods

Once in the hospital wing, we lay Twilight's cold body on one of the beds. "Does this mean anything to you?" Celestia asks handing me the mirror in Twilight's hand I shake my head "no I've never-" I break off when a thought crosses my mind "they die when they look into its eyes" I say "excuse me?" Celestia says I shake my head "Moon Dancer looked into the monster's eyes but Twilight never did she saw it throw her mirror" I say confidently "and Scottaloo say the monster through the water on the floor" I tell Celestia "but how does it get around the school with no one seeing it?" Celestia asks I shrug "right now we know what it can do and how it does it. Based on that we can figure out what it is and stop it!"
