I nervously pace around the tent "you'll do fine" Soarin says stopping me in my tracks I shake my head "we don't know what the first task is" I tell him he nods then puts his arm around my shoulders "you're right but whatever it is you can do it" he tells me a bright light flashes and he takes his arm off my shoulders "romance blooming" a woman says walking up to the two of us Angel Wings walks over to us and crosses her arms "I think you should leave" she tells the woman she shrugs "just doing my job" she sneers walking out of the tent.

"Champions gather round" Luna says holding out a bag "today you will all try and get the golden egg from your dragons" she tells us "in this bag are smaller versions of the dragons that you will have to take the egg from" Luna tells us "if you don't get the egg you won't be able to do the next task" she tells us putting the bag in front of Sassy Saddles. Celestia stands behind me and Angel Wings doing the same as Fire Streak and Cherry Jubilee as they watch what dragons their champions would be against.

"Welsh Green" Luna says looking down at the small dragon in Sassy Saddle's hands "Sweedish Shortsnout" Luna says as Angel Wings pulls a dragon from the bag "the Chinese fireball" Luna says as Soarin takes a dragon from the back "that leaves" Luna says walking towards me I put my hand into the bag feeling spikes prick my finger "the Hungarian Horntail" Luna says looking at me seriously I look at Celestia who squeezes my shoulder "we'll give each of the champions a few minutes with their headmistress of master before starting the task" Luna explains "we'll go in the order we draw the dragons" she tells us "that means Sassy Saddles will go first" she tells us

Celestia pulls Angel Wings and me aside "I know you'll both do great but I must warn you if you lose focus even for a second these dragons could kill you" she tells us seriously we both nod "now you can use your wands so be wise in the spells you use" she tells us we both nod and she walks away "on the whistle!" Luna yells Professor Cadence blows the whistle and Sassy runs out of the tent.

"All three champions are being looked after by Redhearts our nurse. Each fine but they have been burnt and have minor injuries all will recover in time for the second task" Celestia announces "and now your fourth and final champion Rainbow Dash" the whistle blows and I walk out into the pit. I look around but don't see my dragon until it's tail is right next to my face I dodge it and hide behind a rock. I feel the rock heat up as it blows fire at me. I run to another rock when it had stopped and pull out my wand "Accio broom!" I yell I feel the rock behind me heat up as my broom soars towards me. I mount my broom and take off.

I look over my shoulder and watch the dragon trying to fly after me but it was chained to the ground. I hear a loud snap and the chain around the dragon's neck snaps as it flies towards me. I turn around and push for my broom to go faster but the dragon was right behind me. I fly lower as it blows fire at me I soar back into the pit and see my broom on fire I lose control and crashed into the ground. I brush myself off and look around for my wand. The dragon roars as it flies towards me seeing my chance I run as fast as I could grab the egg then dash into the tent. "Rainbow Dash has safely gotten her egg and is moving on to the next task!" Celestia calls I kneel down on the floor of the tent as Redheart rushes towards me "you're the worst of them" she tells me looking me over. She helps me up onto a bed and stretches me out putting liquids on cuts on my legs and arms then she looks at my face. "You've got a nasty cut there," she says looking at my cheek.

She fixing up my face then hands me my wand "you'll be okay Dash" she tells me patting my arm. Angel Wings rushes into the tent and puts her arms around me "you're okay!" she says squeezing me tightly I nod "yeah I am" I tell her "we thought you'd be more hurt after that fall" Soarin tells me sitting down at the end of the bed "just a couple of scratches" I tell him he looks at my arms and legs "a couple?" he questions I roll my eyes getting up from the bed I grab the egg next to me and walk out of the tent with it. "What do you think it is?" Soarin asks looking at his egg "they told us not to open it until we get back to our houses" Angel Wings says I nod "or boat in your case," I say to Soarin he rolls his eyes and blushes walking off to the lake "see ya round," he says waving he winks at me before turning around I blush looking at my egg "he's cute," Angel Wings says elbowing me "what?" I ask looking up she rolls her eyes playfully "Soarin" she says I nod my head "yeah he is" I say covering my mouth Angel Wings laughs as I run into the castle.

The Gryffindor common room explodes with cheers as I walk in I'm instantly lifted into the air as Flash puts me onto his shoulders "the Hogwarts champion!" he yells I raise the egg into the air as they cheer around me "open it!" Smolder yells "do you want me to open it?" I ask them they all cheer I open it and it starts screaming Flash drops me to cover his ears. I close the egg and Pinkie yells "what the bloody hell was that?"
