Rarity rushes up to me and pulls me into a seat at the back of the class "did you see Trenderhoof?" she asks I look at her in confusion "he was at the back of the Beauxbatons Academy" she explains I nod my head "oh yeah" I say she nods "well he's quite the gentleman and he's fashion forward" she tells me I nod "oh yeah?" I ask she nods "hush," Twilight says turning around as our teacher walks into the room from his office.
"Class" he nods pointing to the board "I'm Iron Will you will call me Professor Will I'm your new defense against the dark arts teacher" he explains "can anyone name an unforgivable curse?" he asks we all look at each other "no?" he asks "let's start with something easier. How many unforgivable curses are there?" he asks looking around the room "three sir" Twilight replies seriously "good and they are named so because?" he asks looking at Twilight "because they are unforgivable any use of one will-" Professor Will cuts her off "send you straight to Azkaban. Now who wants to name one?" he asks writing the numbers one, two, and three on the board. Some people raise their hands hesitantly "yes?" Professor Will asks calling on one of the Ravenclaws "the imperius curse" he says nervously Professor Will nods his head "yes very good"
He turns around and pulls out a spider from one of the jars and whispers the curse. The spider flies into the air "I can make her do anything" he laughs putting the spider on someone's face she screams as it lands on her. The class starts laughing "what should I have her do next? Jump out the window" the spider flies into the window "drown herself?" the class stops laughing and Professor Will someone the spider back into his hand. "Wizards have claimed to do Chrysalis's bidding under the imperius curse most lying but others..." he trails off
"Next curse?" he asks I watch Flash raise his hand hesitantly "yes?" Professor Will asks walking over to him "the Cruciatus curse" he says looking down at his desk "yes excellent!" he says placing the spider on the desk in front of Flash. Professor Will says the words and the spider jolts squirming in pain I watch Flash as he looks at the spider as if Professor Will had cast the spell on him. "Please, sir!" Twilight yells "can't you see it's bothering him!" she yells Professor Will looks up at Flash and stops
He picks up the spider and places it in front of Twilight "would you like to tell us the last curse Miss Sparkle?" Professor Will asks she shakes her head as a tear falls from her face "Avada Kedavra" Professor Will whispers the spider dies in front of my eyes "only one person has ever lived from this spell" he says looking me dead in the eye "and she's sitting right in this room" she says walking towards me.
Leaving class Twilight walks next to me "no teacher should ever be allowed to show that to students I mean did you see the look on-" I cut Twilight off and rush in front of us "you okay Flash?" I ask he nods his head "I just can't believe he would do something like that" he tells me I nod as we walk into the great hall. All the tables were gone instead stands take their places I sit next to Apple Jack and Twilight as we wait for everyone to settle down. "The moment you'll all been waiting for!" Celestia claps walking into the center of the stands "now we see who our champions will be" she says as Luna walks up beside her and gives Celestia a hand "we've placed all eligible students names in this hat one will be chosen from each school" she explains
"now without further ado" she says reaching into the hat "from Beauxbatons Academy" Celestia announces looking down at the piece of paper in her hand "Sassy Saddles!" she calls one of the girls from Beauxbatons stands and walks forward she shakes hands with Celestia before walking to the staff table "from Hogwarts!" Celestia calls pulling out a piece of paper "Angel Wings!" she says I clap as I watch her get up from where she was sitting and walks over to Celestia to shake her hand. She then sits down next to Sassy Saddles at the staff table "from Durmstrang Institute" Celestia says pulling a piece of paper from the hat "Soarin!" I clap as he gets up from his seat smiles at me then walks to the staff table "now that we have our three champions-" Celestia breaks off
The hat turns yellow and vibrates until a piece of paper flies out of it and lands in Celestia's hand "Rainbow Dash?" she says looking at the paper everyone gasps and looks at me "Rainbow Dash!" Celestia yells Twilight pushes me out of my seat and I walk down to Celestia she shakes my hand and I walk to the staff table "the champions will have a meeting in the trophy room right now" Celestia says quickly the three champions walk away with me trailing along behind them.
"That was a brilliant piece of magic you did there" Soarin tells me I shake my head "I didn't do that" I tell him he looks away "it's okay Rainbow" Angel Wings says patting my back "we'll work this out" she tells me I nod at her in appreciation "there are only supposed to be three champions!" Sassy Saddles exclaims "not four," she says angrily looking at me "do you think I wanted to do this?" I asked walking towards her Angel Wings pulls me back and shakes her head I sigh but say no more.
"How did she do that!" Cherry Jubilee exclaims rushing into the trophy room "she can't compete!" Fire Streak yells Celestia walks towards me "did you do that?" she asks I shake my head "no headmistress I didn't" I tell her she takes a deep breath as other professors walk into the room "I'm afraid the rules are clear Celestia" Cadence tells her "she must compete" Luna tells her Celestia nods "I've read the rule book" she tells Luna sighing
"Looks like you're the fourth champion Rainbow"
