As I walk downstairs I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and pull me into a bedroom. Soarin closes the door a serious look on his face. "Rainbow I'm worried about Flash" he tells me I nod "I'm not" I tell him cheerfully I get up but he blocks my exit "Rainbow I don't want him around you" he tells me I laugh "I can take care of myself" I tell him he nods "I know you can but I don't like how he acts around you" he confides in me I smile and give him a hug "you don't have to worry" I whisper in his ear "but I can't stop worrying almost every guy in our school likes you" he tells me I shake my head "none of them are you" I tell him he sighs

"I'm scared for you," he says "why?" I ask he hugs me tighter "it's my job," he says I laugh as I take his hand and lead him out downstairs Apple Jack yells with joy as she opens a present Soarin and I sit down on a couch and watch her open up presents. "Look," she says jumping on to the couch next to me she puts the book into my hands "I used to read this book," I say remembering all my favorite stories she smiles as she opens the book and starts reading it. Pear passes two boxes "ones from Soarin and the other Suri" she tells me Soarin points at the purple box "open that one first" he tells me I open the box and find a bracelet inside it have a beautiful heart charm on it "it's from me" he smiles as he puts it around my wrist "I love it" I tell him he smiles as I open the box Suri had given me.

I pull out an old picture of my parents and her standing together happily "It had Tempest Shadow and Coco Pommel in it but I thought I'd cut them out" Suri tells me I smile at her "it's perfect" I tell her as a tear falls from my eye "why'd you take me out of the picture?" Coco Pommel asks walking into the room "you're not as close to her" Suri says Coco laughs I look into the box and see another charm "we coordinated" Suri tells me as she helps me put the charms of my parent's cutie marks onto my bracelet "it's perfect" I tell her wrapping my arms around her neck.

Suddenly I hear a scream and Apple Bloom comes running down the stairs "fire!" she yells I look to Soarin then run upstairs "Rainbow Dash!" he yells after me I run up to the top floor where the fire was "Scootaloo" I call over the flames "Rainbow" she chokes I see her trapped by the flames under a book shelve I pull out my wand and wave the book shelve away. "Aguamenti," I say water comes from my wand and Scootaloo rushes into my arms "are you hurt?" I ask she nods and I look down at her leg. I let her climb onto my back before running down the stairs. The fire had reached the next floor as I keep going down as quickly as I could.

The roof starts to come back and I throw Scootaloo out of the way as it crushes my leg "Rainbow!" she yells I shake my head "got out of here!" I yell she looks at me before running out of the house to safety. I pull on my leg but it hurts more as I pull I grit my teeth as I pull harder until I was free. I make my way outside of the house and feel my head get dizzy I pass out onto the front lawn. Soarin rushes over to me and picks me up bridal style and carries me to safety "is everyone out?" I ask him he nods I sigh in relief as I close my eyes but Soarin slaps me "ouch" I say rubbing my face "you need to stay awake" he tells me I nod

"you're right cause when I find out who did this they'll be the one that needs a bed"
