Once taking my seat Sombra walks out and rolls his eyes when he sees me. I turn to Pinkie who shakes her head telling me not to say anything. I take a deep breath as he explains that we'd be reading chapters from our book all class "Miss Dash!" I snap my head in Sombra's direction "when I'm talking I expect that you would listen unless you think you're time is being wasted" the Slytherin's giggle at his comments "actually professor" I sneer "I was just getting my book" I say holding up the book I was getting. He scowls at me then goes on to tell us we had an essay due tomorrow.

I'd usually groan at his but I had already rubbed Sombra the wrong way and I didn't need detention from him today. I wait for him to give out more homework but he leaves it at the essay and sits down at his desk giving us more than enough time to read the chapters he assigned. I get to reading when I overhear Sunset Shimmer talking to Snips at the table next to me. "I'm telling you someone's going to die" she tells him "but how do you know" Snips ask Sunset hits him with her book "cause that's what happened, last time idiot" she says sighing "it's going to be a mudblood" she tells him he gasps "what that's what happened last time!" she tells him again "the last time the chamber of secrets was opened a mudblood died" she tells him dramatically "the monster's doing the school a favor if you ask me" she tells him "it's doing what Salazar Slytherin wanted! He wanted to cleanse the school" she tells him

I block her out and turn to Pinkie. Her face had turned white as she read her book but I could tell she wasn't actually reading and neither was I instead we were both thinking of what this meant to not only us but the whole school. We spend the rest of the period thinking before the bell rings dismissing us. Pinkie and I rush out of the room and practically run down the halls when we stop dead in our tracks. Pinkie screams terrified by the scene in front of us. "GO!" I yell at Pinkie "go!" I yell again pushing her away she takes off running as I slowly walking through the water to the stone figure in front of me.

I walk towards it and kneel in front of it on the wet floor. A tear falls from my eye and more continue to as people gather around screaming in fear "Rainbow" Apple Jack says trying to get me up I push her away "I can't leave her" I cry I grab her stone like body and bring her closer to me "you'll be okay Scottaloo" I whisper in her ear "what's going on?" Apple Bloom asks before gasping "Apple Bloom-" Sweetie Belle stops the two first year's walk to me and sit down next to me both sobbing into their hands. "She'll be okay won't she?" Apple Bloom asks her sister Apple Jack stands her sister up and pulls her into her arms. Rarity does the same to Sweetie Belle when she reaches the scene.

"What's happened?" Headmistress Celestia asks walking threw the group she gasps when she sees me holding Scottaloo. Celestia bends down in front of me and gently takes Scootaloo from my arms "out of the way!" Celestia says walk back through the crowd with me hot on her heels. Apple Jack, Apple Bloom, Rarity, and Sweetie Belle follow more slowly as we make our way to the hospital wing. "Oh dear," Redheart says when Celestia walks through the doors with Scootaloo in her arms "put her here," Redheart says leading Celestia over to an empty bed. Once resting Scootaloo down on the bed Celestia turns to me "when you're ready to talk I'll be in my office" she tells me I shake my head "I'll talk now" I tell her she nods and leads me to the other end of the hospital wing.

"tell me what happened," Celestia says sitting down on one of the hospital beds. I lean against the wall "Pinkie Pie and I were going to class when we saw her" I explain taking a deep breath "I made Pinkie leave and well you know the rest" I tell her she nods standing "anything else?" she asks I shake my head "you're excused from the rest of your classes today" she tells me I nod in thanks as she turns to leave "Wait, headmistress,?" I ask she turns around "does this attack have anything to do with the chamber of secrets?" I ask she walks towards me slowly "I don't want to lie to you so I'll say it straight. I think it might be" she tells me confirming my fear she turns around and leaves. I walk over to Scootaloo's bed and sit down next to it.

When Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle leave I get up from the bed with Apple Jack and Rarity right behind me "where are you going?" Rarity asks "the Gryffindor tower" I tell them turning around "Rarity go to the Ravenclaw common room and get Twilight" I tell her "Aj same but go to Hufflepuff and get Fluttershy" I tell them before jogging down the hall "I'll see you in the library in ten" I say before turning my jog into a run.

Once in the library with Pinkie we find the other four and sit down with them. "Rainbow we're sorry to hear about Scootaloo," Fluttershy tells me I nod "that's not why I called you here," I say turning to Twilight "the school is in danger. Last time this chamber was opened a student died and not just any student they were from a muggle family" I tell her she takes a deep breath "and that's not all. Today in potions I overheard Sunset talking about it she seemed pleased in a way" I tell her she nods "do you think she opened the chamber?" Rarity asks I nod "think about it she comes from a long line of purebloods. We all know that she's proud of that" I say they nod

"what's your plan?" Twilight asks "we need to figure out a way to talk to her but not somehow can information out of her without her getting suspicious," I say Twilight nods getting up from her chair she returns with a book and starts flipping the pages. She finds the page and hands me the book "polyjuice potion?" I ask giving her the book back "it'll let us be someone else but only for an hour" she says reading the book "it's complicated and may take a while" Twilight says "how long?" Fluttershy asks "a month," Twilight says "a month?!" Apple Jack says "Twilight we don't have a month!" I say "we don't but it's the only plan we've got," Twilight tells me
