I rush into Davenport's office despite my better judgment I needed his help. "Where are you going?" I ask looking around at his half-packed office "business unavoidable" he says packing faster "my sister is missing and while you're supposed to be saving her you pack for a business trip" Apple Jack says crossing her arms we raise our wands as he raises his. He puts his hands up in surrender as we walk him out of his office "where is it?" Apple Jack asks "where is what?" he asks we roll our eyes "maybe Moon Dancer can help?" I offer Apple Jack nods as we walk into the third-floor girl's bathroom.

"Hello?" I asked walking into the bathroom Moon Dancer rises from her toilet "you're back" she says smiling we nod "Moon Dancer if you don't mind us asking where did you die?" Apple Jack asks Moon Dancer frowns and points to a spot in front of one of the sinks I walk over to the sink and look at it closely I look at every sink they all seemed the same but the one with the snake on it "what does it mean" I wonder Apple Jack walks closer we turn as the bathroom door opens and Fluttershy walks in "I was looking for you" she says to Apple Jack she gaps when she sees Apple Jacks wand up against Davenport's back I motion for Fluttershy to look at the sink. She thinks for a second before talking in a different language.

The sink in front of me opens into a dark hole "great you've found the entrance" Davenport says walking to the door I motion with my head for him to go down into it he shakes his head "I think I've gone far enough" I grab his hand as he tries to run away together Apple Jack and I push him into the dark hole. We hear a thud "it smells awful down here" Davenport says I nod to Apple Jack "let's go" I say to her and Fluttershy "I'll sit this one out" Fluttershy says we nod before jumping into the hole.

We both land on our butts and get up brushing our selves off. We walk into the cave with Davenport at wand point. "I can see her Apple Jack says rushing towards her sister Davenport grabs Apple Jack taking her wand from her he pulls out his own and points it at me "that's far enough. Sorry girls but the adventure ends here" he tells us "what are you doing?" I ask "saving the day of course" he tells me "you see I've never done anything my books said all lies but this time well I'll simply have to tell the media I was too late to say the little girl and that you two lost your minds down here" he says pointing his wand at me "Obliviate!" Davenport as Apple Jack pushes his arm up. The spell hits the roof of the cave I run to the other side as the cave closes off. "Apple Jack!" I yell "I'm all right Rainbow," she says pausing "Davenport got hit by a rock he's unconscious." she tells me I take a deep breathe "clear the way I'll come back with Apple Bloom," I tell her I see her nod as I walk into the cave.

When my eyes land on Apple Bloom I run towards her "wake up" I tell her "don't be dead" I plead "she won't wake" I hear someone say I turn around and see Pipsqueak a first-year Gryffindor "you shouldn't be here it's dangerous" I tell him he nods "trust me I know" he says blowing a whistle. In front of me, a giant snake comes from the water "what is that!" I scream "a basilisk," Pipsqueak tells me "why are you doing this?" I ask "he doesn't have a choice," a younger version of Chrysalis says walking from the shadows "I guess since you're about to die I should tell you the story," she says evilly smiling at me "once you had taken my chance to live normally last year I found a new way. When I was at Hogwarts I opened the chamber of secrets and killed Moon Dancer but they closed the school down before I was done so I left a book with a younger version of my self in it. You see I'm not real I'm more like a memory or ghost of myself so I couldn't do anything so I had Pipsqueak do all my dirty work the messages on the walls, opening the chamber, and get my basilisk to attack mudbloods" she spits "he would never do that!" I tell her she nods "you're right unless he was under the Imperius Curse," she tells me I gasp

She shrugs her shoulder "now you know to my much my dear" she tells me smiling she whistles at her snake jumps at me I dodge it "don't forget that if you look into its eyes you'll die" Chrysalis laughs evilly "bye bye Rainbow Dash" she smiles disappearing into the shadows I look at the floor and run away from the snake but it was much faster then me it grabs my leg and bites into it then leaves me alone. I see a sword appear next to me I grab it and run to the basilisk that had turned around I run to its head and stab both of its eyes so it couldn't see. It opens its mouth to bite me and I take my chance I put the sword through its mouth and stab into the ruff of it. The snake screams and wipes it's head away from me the sword still in its mouth. It struggles but falls still dead. I run to Apple Bloom but she wasn't awake next to her lay a book "what have you done!" Chrysalis screams at me I feel the poison from the snake in my body she laughs.

I smirk knowing she'd given away the answer to my question. I grab the book next to Apple Bloom and walk over to the dead snake I take one of its teeth and stab the book with it "no!" Chrysalis yells grabbing her chest I stab the book until she had completely disappeared. Apple Bloom gaps suddenly awake "you saved me" she says smiling at me I nod as I collapsed onto my side "what's wrong?" she asks rushing to my side "I saved you but I couldn't save myself" I tell her looking at my leg "follow the cave you'll find Apple Jack with Davenport they'll get you out of here" I tell her "I'll get you out of here" headmistress Celestia says walking towards us I smile at her weakly before the pain takes over and I close my eyes

I wake up in the hospital wing "is this going to happen every year?" I ask Celestia who was waiting next to my bed "I hope not" she tells me sitting at the end of my bed "you saved the school yet again Rainbow Dash" she tells me I smile at her then frown "how am I alive?" I ask she points to the bird next to me "this is Philomena my pet phoenix" she tells me when I don't understand she continues "the tears from a phoenix can heal any wound" she tells me I smile at the bird and pet it "will Scootaloo and Twilight be okay?" I ask she nods "Professor Cadence is working on that right now" I smile as I lean back into my bed "I'll let you rest," she says getting up I smile at her before I close my eyes and fall asleep.
