Apple Jack and I laugh as we watch the students of Hogwarts rushing to get to there different classes. "That's the girl's restroom!" Luna tells one of the first year boys Apple Jack and I burst out laughing "Rainbow Dash" Luna says gesturing for me to come to her. I walk towards me and she looks at me seriously "don't you and Apple Jack have anything better to do like go to class?" she asks I shake my head "no Professor we have an extra period" I tell her giving her my schedule she looks it over "Celestia thought you'd be taking potions " she tells me handing back the paper.

I shake my head "well since we thought Sombra would be teaching we didn't want to take it" I tell her she nods "now that he's not you can join Peachbottom's class" she tells me I nod as I walk away "oh and take Apple Jack with you" Luna says I nod grabbing Apple Jack's hand "where are we going ?" she asks as I drag her down the potions hallway "we're going to potions " I tell her she groans as we walk into the room.

"Oh yes Rainbow Dash" Peachbottom says excitedly "and you brought a friend" she says happily "well pull out your textbooks and we'll make you a spot" she tells us "Professor we don't have textbooks" I tell her she nods and points to the cabinet next to her "I'm sure I have extras" she says Apple Jack and I walk over to it and both reach for the newer copy she gets it and smirks at me as I take the old one "you two can sit right here" Peachbottom says pointing at the desk closest to the front. Apple Jack and I sit down at the desk as Peachbottom continues the lesson. "Right as I was saying today you'll be making liquid death and the person who makes the best brew gets a prize," she tells us smiling "your time starts now," she says

I open my book and find what I'd need for the brew in the book it said I needed four walnuts but someone had crossed it out and said five I shrug grabbing a fifth one as I brew I start to notice that the person who had this book before was really good at potions since everything they had written was helping out a lot. Apple Jack looks into my cauldron as she adds four walnuts her brew turns red she looks at mine "how come your's is better?" she asks I laugh "are you doubting my mad potion skills?" I ask she rolls her eyes "no I'm doubting the fact that you're better then me" Apple Jack says smirking

I roll my eyes as I stir my brew four times as instructed by the previous owner of the book. Peachbottom walks to the front of the room and claps her hands "times up" she says as she walks around the room with a clipboard in hand she looks unimpressed until she reaches my cauldron and gasps "I dare say this is the best brew I've seen in my teaching career" she says looking into the cauldron "gather round" Peachbottom says to the others they all look into my cauldron then up at me all very surprised at how perfect I had gotten my brew. Peachbottom looks into Apple Jack's cauldron before turning back to me "looks like we have a winner" she says smiling at me "now for your prize" she turns around and gives me a small bottle of clear liquid "this is liquid luck" she explains "use it wisely" she warns me

As we walk out of class Apple Jack turns to me "how did you do it?" she asks I show her my book "you're a cheat" she says I roll my eyes "not really it's her book" I tell her she frowns "I want to trade" she says I laugh "no way" I tell her "this book is what's going to help me pass that class"
