I walk into the great hall surprised to see that the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw tables were longer than the other two. I sit down at the very end of the table leaving an extra table for whoever would be sitting there. The sorting goes on as normal then Celestia walks up to the front of the room. "I'm sure you're all hungry but you'll have to wait a few moments longer I'm afraid" she tells us "first I would like to welcome Timber Spruce we will be apprenticing as the care of magical creatures apprentice to our own Discord" Celestia announces the boy sitting next to Discord stands "he looks to be around our age" Pinkie whispers I nod "he will be here for his fourth year till he graduates and then take over to role" Celestia explains "so he is our age" Pinkie whispers I nod

"Now as you all may have noticed some of our tables are longer than normal" she says looking out to the crowd "I am pleased to say that Hogwarts will be holding the Triwizard tournament this year" she tells us everyone whispers wondering what it is "the Triwizard tournament takes place at a different school every time it is played. This time it will be here now before we explain more let me introduce the lovely students from Beauxbatons Academy" Celestia introduces the doors open and girls wearing light blue rush out doing a dance as they enter.

They blow kisses at the boys and wink at the girls as they pass us. At the end of the group was a guy he looks around smiling at everyone but winks at Apple Jack who rolls her eyes and at the very end of the group a very happy looking woman. Celestia shakes the woman's hand the woman turns to the crowd "hello" she says bowing her head "I am Cherry Jubilee" she introduces "I am the headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy and we are all very pleased to be here" she tells us all we all clap as they sit down at the Ravenclaw table "and now the noble students of Durmstrang Institute" the doors swing open and guys do backflips everywhere the girls slam their staffs down on the ground. As they walk wards I gasp and grab Pinkie's arm "it's him" I whisper she looks down at her arm in pain but I don't let go.

I point to the back of the group "Soarin!" I whisper to her she looks at me obviously annoyed he winks at me as he walks past and I almost pass out but Pinkie keeps my head up. As they reach the front the man at the back bows to Celestia and kisses her hand before turning around "I am Fire Streak the headmaster of Durmstrang Institute we are very happy to be here with you for the year" Fire Streak says bowing before they make their way to the Gryffindor table "he's the captain" I tell Pinkie she looks at me in confusion "of the Wonderbolts!" I tell her she rolls her eyes but nods.

Scootaloo looks at me from across the table and looks to the person next to me I look next to Scootaloo and see Smoulder giving me the thumbs up I turn to my left and see Soaring sitting next to me. When he notices me looking he turns to me "hi" he says I blush "hey" I say "I'm Soarin" he says extending his arm I take it "I know" I say dreamily I shake my head "I'm a big fan" I tell him he nods and stares at me "oh right I'm Rainbow Dash" I tell him he gasps "you're Rainbow Dash?" he asks I nod showing him my arm where the cloud with the three colored lightning bolt was he looks at it shocked "so it's true" he whispers "that I defeated Chrysalis? Yeah" I say he shakes his head "I can't believe it" he says "it's the truth" I tell him seriously "I watched my best friend-" he cuts me off "you miss understood me" he tells me blushing "it's true that Chrysalis is gone" he says I shake my head "she's rising again" I tell him

He gasps "have you seen her?" he asks I nod my head "well I haven't seen her since my first year here but in my second year I saw her but a younger version" I tell him he shakes his head "nothing like that ever happens at my school" he tells me I left out a sigh "well it's rough watching your friends get hurt" I tell him he nods "yeah" he agrees

The food appears in front of us and I start eating "so you're a fan?" Soarin asks helping himself to some chicken I nod "yeah I watched you play at the world cup" I tell him smiling he frowns "but after the game" he says trailing off I nod "that was terrible I can't believe that someone sent the dark mark into the air" I say sadly he gasps "didn't you hear?" I ask he shakes his head "hear what?" he asks I look at him in surprise "that the death eaters were setting fire to the tents and one spot the dark mark for everyone to see" I tell him he shakes his head "I didn't hear" he says turning to his plate sadly

"but it's okay everyone got out alive," I tell him he nods "were your friends hurt?" he asks I shake my head "no we all escaped"
