I sit down next to Apple Jack and wait for Professor Coco to enter the room for another fun filled lesson but to my shock and disappointment, Professor Sombra walks into the room. He closes the curtains as he walks to the front of the room "turn to page three hundred and ninety-four" he says I groan as I open my book "Yes Miss Dash?" he asks I shake my head "nothing professor" I say he walks towards me "you're right it is nothing" he tells me smirking evilly I roll my eyes as he turns his back to me.

"turn to page three hundred and ninety four" he repeats I flip open my book to the page and look down at it in confusion "Sir" someone at the back of the class says "we're not meant to start werewolves for weeks!" she says Professor Sombra scowls "quick" he says pulling down the screen at the front of the class "can anyone tell me the difference between a werewolf and an animagus?" he asks when no one raises their hands he answers for us "no one. A werewolf changes at every full moon they have no control whether they change or not and while they are in wolf state they could do anything and hurt anyone" he tells us dangerously "an animagus can change whenever they please and once in their animal form they have total control" he tells us

I turn to Apple Jack who looks as if she was about to fall asleep I give her a jab in the rubs and she looks up at the screen as Sombra continued with the lesson "now when a werewolf changes they" I block Sombra out as I look down at the picture of the animagus I raise my hand "what is it?" Professor Sombra asks "I was just wondering does an animagus have to be a wolf?" I ask he shakes his head "no they can be any animal they want to be but only one" he says starting a lecture on how animagus come to be. I drown him out yet again and start doodling on my notebook "you have the rest of the class to research for your essay on the differences between werewolves and animagus this will be due in three days" Sombra tells us I lean my head and close my eyes before getting to work.

For the rest of the period, I read about animagus and werewolves and how different they are. The bell rings "library after dinner" Apple Jack reminds me as she gets out of her seat I nod my head "hey Dash" I look up to see Flash waiting for me at the door "sup?" I asked walking towards him "mind if we talk?" he asks I shake my head and he leads me into an empty class "you know Twilight right?" he asks I nod my head "yeah she's one of my best friends" I tell him he lets out a sigh of relief "listen I really like her and I want to ask her out but" he rubs the back of his neck nervously. I shake my head "oh well Twilight" I say thinking I shake my head again "I'm not sure if she likes anyone but I'll see" I tell him turning around to walk away. He grabs my wrist as I reach the door "don't tell her I like her" he pleads I nod my head "I won't" I tell him turning the doorknob he lefts go of my hand and I walk down to the great hall for dinner.

I rush into the library and get to work right away on my essay for defense. "Where do you think Coco is?" Pinkie asks sitting next to me I shrug as I scribble out my work "not sure guess she's sick" I tell her only half into the conversation "maybe she's not" Apple Jack says sitting down on the opposite side of me "where else would she be?" Fluttershy asks sitting down "It is odd" Rarity adds "I mean teachers get sick from time to time" Twilight adds "what teachers sick?" Silverstream says sitting next to sitting in front of Pinkie on a bean bag chair. I watch as the other five apprentices sit with their mentors "hey Smoulder" I nod as she sits in front of me on a bean bag chair "whatcha working on?" she asks I sigh "essay from Sombra" I tell her she rolls her eyes "I swear he gives us essays out of nowhere" she says

"he does!" Gallus exclaims "it's true he does!" Sandbar agrees "I mean it's not so bad" Silverstream argues "Not that bad?!" Ocellus exclaims "it is when you have homework plus an essay due next class" Ocellus says also working on her homework "I don't see why you're so stressed" Yona says Ocellus gasps "if I want good marks I do" she says "sounds like you got the wrong mentor" I joke the others look at me funny "Twilight's the same way!" I tell them they all nod their heads. I hand Twilight my notes for her to check she nods handing them back to me "guess I'm done for the day" I say Smoulder raises her hand and I high five her.

"it's getting late," Twilight says standing up "I suggest we all go back to our houses"
