I walk into the Apple home as Pear butter opens the door for my parents and I "welcome!" she greets hugging me "good to see you" I tell her "and you dear" she says turning to my parents "Hello" my mother says shaking her hand "I'm Windy Whistles" my mother introduces her self "and this is my husband Bow Hothoof" she says pointing to my father "nice to met you" Pear says shaking her hand "if you'll follow me to the living room we're all gathering to mingle" she says leading us into the sitting room.

Set up were five couches for everyone to sit on I sit down next to Pinkie and Apple Jack on one of the couches "those are my parents" Pinkie says pointing them out "Igneous Rock Pie and Cloudy Quartz" she tells me I smile as I see Pinkie's sisters Limestone, Marble, and Maud hanging out with Apple Jack's brother Big Mac. I look around "where is Apple Bloom?" I ask Apple Jack shrugs "I think she's upstairs with Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle they stayed the night," Apple Jack tells me I nod as there was a knock on the door.

Pear jumps up from her couch and walks to the door she smiles as she walks back in the room with Twilight and Fluttershy's family. Their parents go to mingle with the other parents as Zephyr Breeze Fluttershy's brother goes to hang out with Pinkie's sisters and Apple Jack's brother. Twilight's brother follows her as she sits down on the couch with the rest of us "this is my brother Shining Armor" Twilight introduces we all wave at him and nod "my parents" Fluttershy says pointing "Mr. and Mrs. Shy" she tells us we all nod "and our parents" Twilight says pointing at herself and Shining Armor before pointing at her parents "Twilight Velvet and Night Light" she tells us we all nod "so you're all in the same year as Twilight?" Shining Armor asks we nod "yeah we are but our siblings" Apple Jack says pointing at herself, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie "are in their sixth year" Apple Jack says I nod "but Apple Jack's and Rarity's younger sister are in their second year" I explain Pinkie nods "and Rainbow's 'sister' Scootaloo" Pinkie says before he can ask another knock at the door.

Pear gets up but Schootlaoo and Apple Bloom beat her to the door they both give Sweetie Belle big hugs before dragging her into the living room. The three girls sit together on a couch "speak of the devils" Apple Jack laughs Rarity comes to sit with "hello darlings" she says giving each of us a hug "oh you must be Twilight's brother Shining Armor" Rarity says he nods "I've heard so much about you" Rarity says making Twilight blush "who are your parents Rarity" Twilight asks trying to cover up her blush "that's my mother Cookie Crumbles" Rarity says pointing her out "and my father Hondo Flanks" she says pointing at him

We all nod as we start talking Pear Butter gets up from her spot on the couch to walk into the kitchen the other moms follow her to help out with cooking I laugh "I don't think I've seen my mom cook a day in her life" I say the other girls laugh. Shining Armor gets up and walks over to the group of older siblings "Dinner!" Pear Butter calls everyone makes there way into the kitchen. The table was extra look to fit the six families that would be sitting around it. Pear had put out name cards so we'd all know where to sit I take my seat near the one end of the table I side across from Apple Jack and next to my parents. At the head of the table, Bright Mac stands up raising his glass "I'd like to thank you all for spending your Christmas here with us! It means a lot to have you all here and I know our children are happy to be together for the holidays" we raise as glasses as well "and to thank the six women who put dinner together tonight" Bight Mac says sitting down we all clink our drinks together before taking a sip.

"dig in" Bright Mac claps and huge plates of food appear in front of everyone. I do as I'm told and take a mouth full of mashed potatoes. Apple Jack and I talk about quidditch and our father's join in "Wondercolts!" I say Apple Jack shakes her head "no no the Shadowbolts are better" she tells me I roll my eyes "no way Aj wondercolts are the best" I say Bright Mac laughs "well we'll see at the cup this year which team is best" Bright Mac says my father nods his head in agreement "oh yeah this year will be a good one" he says Bright Mac nods smiling "I'd sell my leg to see it" he tells my father I nod my head "oh yeah I'd give anything to go" I tell him Apple Jack raises her eyebrow "anything?" she asks I put my hands up "okay maybe not" I tell her we both laugh.

I smile as I realize that this Christmas might be the best that I'd ever had.
