Smoulder high fives me before I enter the change rooms "good luck" she says walking towards the stands "dido" Apple Jack says giving me a fist bump "but we're going to destroy you" she tells me walking into the Hufflepuff change rooms Pinkie hugs me "you got this!" she says before skipping away "ready Dash?" Limestone asks pulling me into the change room I nod "I was born ready" I tell her she laughs "don't get an ego" she jokes I roll my eyes "is my ego not big enough for you?" I ask she laughs "yes it is don't make it any bigger," she tells me I nod

I walk out on to the quidditch pitch with the Gryffindor team. I watch as the Hufflepuff team walks onto the field I stare at Apple Jack and she returns my stare as we stand in front of each other "I want a good clear game" Sky Stringer tells us I raise my eyebrow at Apple Jack she shrugs as we mount our brooms "on the whistle!" Sky Stringer yells the whistle blows and I take off into the air. The clouds overhead start pouring rain and I put on my goggles to see better. "Dash!" Limestone calls I fly faster as she passes me but the ball under my arm is punched from under my arm and Apple Jack takes the ball "you're not winning today!" I say chasing after her at full speed.

She twists and turns then throws the quaffle at her teammate. I fly up to catch it but miss instead Flash catches it he flies in the other direction and I follow beside him he throws Limestone the ball but one of the Hufflepuff get it and they turn around flying to their end "we need to play roughly" Limestone tells us I nod taking off after the person with the quaffle "Limestone!" I yell she ducks before the bludger could hit her she nods in thanks as we fly even faster. The Hufflepuff throws the ball and scores "ten nothing" the announcer says I breathe out sharply.The quaffle is thrown into the air and Limestone catches it she zips past the other team dodging them as they came. I fly at her tail watching for Hufflepuff wanting to take the quaffle from her. She throws it over her shoulder and I catch it and fly past her. I throw the ball into one of the hops "thirty to fifty" the announcer calls

The quaffle flies into the air and Apple Jack gets it. Thunder booms as she flies into the air higher and higher "what are you doing!" her captain yells Apple Jack flies higher still with me right behind her. She looks over her shoulder fear flashing in her eyes. I fly faster to be next to her "what's wrong?" I ask she looks down at the frost on her broom I look down to see the same on mine. The quaffle falls from under her arm as she screams I follow her gaze and see a dementor flying towards us. We both dodge in going in different directions "that was close" I say she nods "Rainbow!" she yells I look up just as a dementor appears in front of my broom. It's mouth wide as it sucks out my soul my eyes rolls back into my head and I let go of my broom. As I fall I see another dementor sucking out Apple Jack's soul and she falls too. My eyes roll back into my head again and I lose consciousness.

I wake up in the hospital wing with a crowd surrounding me "is she all right?" Smoulder asks "I think so," Pinkie says looking down at me "better then okay" I joke sitting up "what happened?" I ask Rarity frowns looking at me "you fell off your broom" she tells me "but the dementors" I say Twilight nods "Headmistress Celestia is sending them back to Azkaban now" Twilight tells me I nod "but why did they attack us?" I ask Limestone stands from the edge of my bed "it doesn't matter Dash" she tells me "they're gone now" she says patting my foot "yeah you're both safe" Fluttershy says "both? Where's Aj?" I ask Rarity steps back and pulls open a curtain "Aj!" I smile looking at the bed next to me "good to not hear you snoring" she jokes

I fake laugh "come on Dash it was funny" Apple Jack says I shake my head "sure it was" I laugh rolling my eyes "see made you laugh" Apple Jack says I roll my eyes again "yeah you're so funny" I say "you'd think after falling from the sky they'd be nicer to each other" Twilight jokes I laugh "that was funny" I tell her laughing "see Aj you should learn a few things from Twilight" I tell her she rolls her eyes "do you think you two could handle more visitors?" Redheart asks we both nod she opens the door and ten people rush into the hospital wing.

Smolder, Yona, Sandbar, Ocellus, Silverstream, Gallus, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and Big Mac rush over to our hospital beds asking a million different questions. Apple Jack and I try to answer all of them but they keep asking more "Rainbow who saved you?" Scootaloo asks I shake my head "I don't know" I tell her "I do!" SMoulder says walking to the front of the small crowd "it was Celestia she cast a spell before either of you hit the ground that saved your life" she tells me I nod "I guess I need to thank her" I say

"no need," Celestia says walking towards my bed "I've heard you say your thanks and from the smiles, on your faces, I can see that you're both better," Celestia says smiling at Aj and me before leaving the hospital wing.
