June 10, Prov 3:1-12

The last few days I've been getting dizzy a lot, I'm not sure why and it's really annoying. I was dizzy yesterday evening, this morning at work for a bit over an hour, and now again for the last few hours. It's not as bad when I lay down, so I'm laying down as I type this. I do have a doctors appointment next week, so hopefully that will give some answers.

1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments,

2 for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you.

3 Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.

4 So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
This is definitely good advice.

6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

7 Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.
Be not wise in your own eyes. It is so easy to think you know everything and you are wise, I am definitely guilty of that.

8 It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.
Healing.

9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce;

10 then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.

11 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline or be weary of his reproof,

12 for the LORD reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.  - Proverbs 3:1-12
The Lord loves you because you are His child. Sometimes it feels like He doesn't care about you because your life is far from easy at times, but He knows what is best for you. He will always give you the grace you need to live for Him.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you so much for everything You have done for us, thank you especially for Your love. Sometimes it it feels like You've abandoned us, but You are actually testing us that we may grow stronger in our faith, and closer to You. You would never put us through anything that we can't handle, Your grace is always sufficient. Father teach us to trust in You with our whole hearts and souls and minds, don't let us lean on our own understanding, for if we do, we will definitely fall. Father please keep us humble, it's so easy to think that we know everything and are always right, please keep us from that trap. Father please guide and bless everyone in my prayer journal, please shower them with Your grace and love, in Jesus's name I pray, Amen
