I've had a bad headache on and off most of today, at the moment it's bearable, but that could easily change, so if I publish this chapter and it's only half done, that would be why.

Unsurprisingly my headache returned before I had a chance to publish this, so that is why I'm publishing it today instead of yesterday. And I have a busy evening, so chances are I won't publish again tonight.

1 The wisest of women builds her house, but folly with her own hands tears it down.

2 Whoever walks in uprightness fears the LORD, but he who is devious in his ways despises him.
Those who live an honorable life honor God, while the tricksters and wicked hate him

3 By the mouth of a fool comes a rod for his back, but the lips of the wise will preserve them.
The fool will be undone by his words, while the wise will be safe

4 Where there are no oxen, the manger is clean, but abundant crops come by the strength of the ox.

5 A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness breathes out lies.
Don't be a false witness. If you see something play out, it's best to speak and tell it as accurately as possible. Be as true to yourself and others as possible, it's something all of us should work on.

6 A scoffer seeks wisdom in vain, but knowledge is easy for a man of understanding.

7 Leave the presence of a fool, for there you do not meet words of knowledge.

8 The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way, but the folly of fools is deceiving.

9 Fools mock at the guilt offering, but the upright enjoy acceptance.

10 The heart knows its own bitterness, and no stranger shares its joy.
You can try to share bitterness and joy with other people, but no one will understand your own heart as well as you do. Except for God of course, He knows your heart better than you!

11 The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish.
Interesting how the wicked have a house but the righteous just have a tent. Reminds me of how we are only pilgrims in this world, so we should act like it, but the wicked think this is their home, so they build houses only thinking about their future on this earth and not their eternal future.
The house of the wicked is built on sand. It won't last. It's better to be the lowly tent in this case.

12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.

13 Even in laughter the heart may ache, and the end of joy may be grief.
That sure is true. It's a strange feeling when your heart is in pain but yet your are smiling or laughing. Sometimes it's good cause it distracts you from the pain, but sometimes it feels so fake.

14 The backslider in heart will be filled with the fruit of his ways, and a good man will be filled with the fruit of his ways.

15 The simple believes everything, but the prudent gives thought to his steps.
There are so many simple people in the world who believe everything.

16 One who is wise is cautious and turns away from evil, but a fool is reckless and careless.
It's good to be cautious, so that you may know to avoid danger and do stupid things. Only fools act without thinking.

17 A man of quick temper acts foolishly, and a man of evil devices is hated.

18 The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.

19 The evil bow down before the good, the wicked at the gates of the righteous.

20 The poor is disliked even by his neighbor, but the rich has many friends.
That is what it looks like on the surface, but in reality the rich have many fake friends and the poor don't have nearly as many fake friends.

21 Whoever despises his neighbor is a sinner, but blessed is he who is generous to the poor.

22 Do they not go astray who devise evil? Those who devise good meet steadfast love and faithfulness.

23 In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.

24 The crown of the wise is their wealth, but the folly of fools brings folly.

25 A truthful witness saves lives, but one who breathes out lies is deceitful.

26 In the fear of the LORD one has strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge.
It's so easy to look at the world and feel sorry for anyone born into it because of how full of evil it is, but the fear of the Lord provides refuge for all, especially the children.

27 The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death.
26-27 Good verses. All throughout history the wicked have always been killed/overthrown, you name it. The righteous, even under heavy persecution, will always survive and ultimately endure.

28 In a multitude of people is the glory of a king, but without people a prince is ruined.

29 Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.

30 A tranquil heart gives life to the flesh, but envy makes the bones rot.
So very true. A tranquil heart gives life and health. I don't have a tranquil heart, I get stressed easily, and I'm pretty sure that that stress is a factor in my bad health right now.

31 Whoever oppresses a poor man insults his Maker, but he who is generous to the needy honors him.

32 The wicked is overthrown through his evildoing, but the righteous finds refuge in his death.

33 Wisdom rests in the heart of a man of understanding, but it makes itself known even in the midst of fools.

34 Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.

35 A servant who deals wisely has the king's favor, but his wrath falls on one who acts shamefully. - Proverbs 14
Don't wanna get in trouble? Don't do stupid things. That simple.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you so much for Your many blessings, thank you especially for Will, that we can study Your word together, please help us grow in wisdom together. Thank that Will is such a great support for me through everything so far. You give and take away, You have taken away my health again and I don't know when You will give it back, yet I will still praise You. Blessed be Your name! Father please grant wisdom to the doctor I'm seeing tomorrow that he may figure out what is wrong and how to fix it if it is Your will. Please bless and keep everyone in my prayer journal, in Jesus's name, Amen

Dear Jesus,
I come again to thank you for another day and for being with me til this day. Lord I ask once again to be with friends and family who have always been there for me and to guide them to your word. God, I thank you for having a great person like Jessica to read, and study your word for devotions, and I ask that we continue to do so with the same interest we have now. I also ask that you take care of my family who is going to go to the US tomorrow for my brother's tournament. Please be with them, and help my brother with his games. Lastly, I pray that you help Jessica find what is wrong with her and to help relieve her of daily pain she endures. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
