Hey guys! Merry Christmas! I missed a few days cause I was sick again, sorry. How was your Christmas? I hope you had a good time!
1 O LORD my God, in you do I take refuge; save me from all my pursuers and deliver me,
The Lord is my refuge. He will save me and deliver me from all my pursuers!
I like this.
2 lest like a lion they tear my soul apart, rending it in pieces, with none to deliver.
Sin can tear your life apart, some more than others.
If I didn't have the Lord as my refuge, it wouldn't end up well for me.
3 O LORD my God, if I have done this, if there is wrong in my hands,
4 if I have repaid my friend with evil or plundered my enemy without cause,
Sometimes we do stuff which punishes us.
5 let the enemy pursue my soul and overtake it, and let him trample my life to the ground and lay my glory in the dust. Selah
I'm a little confused, everyone sins against their fellow man, so does that mean we should all say our enemies should pursue us and trample our lives?
6 Arise, O LORD, in your anger; lift yourself up against the fury of my enemies; awake for me; you have appointed a judgment.
7 Let the assembly of the peoples be gathered about you; over it return on high.
God will judge us, whether we do good or bad.
8 The LORD judges the peoples; judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me.
God will judge us all, I'm so thankful I have Christ's righteousness and integrity in me!
9 Oh, let the evil of the wicked come to an end, and may you establish the righteous- you who test the minds and hearts, O righteous God!
God will destroy evil one day and establish his kingdom here on earth, the only question is when and where?
10 My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.
There is no better shield than God!
11 God is a righteous judge, and a God who feels indignation every day.

12 If a man does not repent, God will whet his sword; he has bent and readied his bow;
13 he has prepared for him his deadly weapons, making his arrows fiery shafts.
14 Behold, the wicked man conceives evil and is pregnant with mischief and gives birth to lies.
Wickedness, evil, mischief and lies are a family, the family of Satan. I'm so glad I'm part of Christ's family!
15 He makes a pit, digging it out, and falls into the hole that he has made.
16 His mischief returns upon his own head, and on his own skull his violence descends.
His evil planning and deeds backfire!
17 I will give to the LORD the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the LORD, the Most High. - Psalms 7
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you so much for everything You have blessed me with, thank you especially for Will, he is such a blessing to me! Father please continue to bless and guide our relationship, please keep us from temptation and instead use us to honour You. Father thank you for Christmas, thank you for sending Your only Son to save us sinners. Please help us remember Your amazing Gift all through the year, not just during the Christmas season. Please bless and keep everyone in my prayer journal, especially those who have not accepted Your Gift, please guide them to Christ, in Jesus's name I pray, Amen
