Clace : a different story

Clary POV

We continue walking toward the North , I notice Jace is walking behind me so I slow down and we walk side by side . I never thought I could be calmed by just the presence of a person , I reach out and hold jaces hand . He sqeezes my hand back , we both are unsure of whats to really come .

Finally I see the North tower its dark red and grey , it reachs 50 stories tall and looks like a gaint shadow. Jace and I stare at the tower . " I assume this is where we were heading . " Jace says littly laughing . I nod seriously and we start walking forward.

WE reach the gates and just as Jace is about to knock I grab his hand Stopping him , he looks at me curiously . I spread out my wings preparing for flight . I grab a hold of Jace and take off ,jace holds tight to my arm as we fly to the roof . When we land I take out my fathers sword Heosphoros ready to fight . Jace pulls out his own serphant blade ( I know I spelt it wrong cant find my Codex)

I return my wings to my body , and open the hatch in the floor . We climb down the ladder and step down onto the floor , ' be quiet only speak through our minds ' I send to jace's mind . He nods and we start toward the stairs ! I take one step onto them they start creaking loudly I jump up . I look at Jace he nods and I spread out my wings , together we float down . Suddenly an arrow pierces my wing on the tip , I start frantically flapping my other wing to stay afloat but we fall down to the stone cold floor .

Jace grabs a rope from the pack and wraps it around on of the stair railing we stop 20 feet from the ground , I let out a breath of air then the railing breaks . We fall I land on my back and jace lands on his feet but falls forward , I try and sit up but my wings hurts so much I finally sit up and grab the arrow . I quickly pull it out and cry in pain the next thing I know Jace is at my wing holding my shoulder . My wings start glowing gold and they are repaired .

I stand up jace supporting my side " I should be better in a minute " I say smiling weakly . I look around to see where that arrow came from , I see no one but I see a string but have been a trap there . We continue walking down the hall that I saw so many times in my dreams , we come t the grand door with demon heads ingraved into the door . I take a deep breath and look at Jace I nod 'it's time'

I push open the door to see him sitting on a throne " welcome Clarrisa " he speaks , this sends a chill down my spine "Sebastian Jonathan morgenstern "
