"Hey, isn't she prettier than usual?"

"Yeah..."

All eyes were on Zai as she was walking in the hallway. She has her usual cold look. The only difference is her long black hair is not tied. All was in awe when they lay their eyes on her. Her hair was shining when it was exposed to the sunlight. Her face seems fresh and free from stress.

"Kapitan!" lahat ay napatingin sa kabilang dako ng pasilyo at doon ay nakita ang ibang kasamahan ng dalaga. Tumakbo si Axen rito at biglang inakbayan.

"You're really popular eh?" Zera smiled and chuckled. They was about to walk away but suddenly they heard a very loud sound coming from an animal. Nagtakbuhan ang mga estudyante noong biglang may lumapag na kakaibang hayop sa field. It's head is like an eagle and it's body is like the body of the lion. It also has wings and the end of it's tail is naturally burning.

"What is that thing?" pagtatanong ni Layn habang nakatingin sila sa nilalang. The creature is causing trouble in the fields. Nagwawala ito at sinisira ang mga nakikita nito.

"It's a sacred beast." Wein answered at lahat sila ay napatingin sa kanya.

"Sacred beasts are very rare to see. They don't show themselves in public. But this one just suddenly barged in and rampage the place. The best place for you to see a sacred beast is in Easternia." he explained while the others are just listening to him. Lahat ay ibinalik ang tingin sa nagwawalang nilalang noong ito'y sumigaw at mas lalong naging agresibo.

"We must find a way to--- Oy Christa!" biglang sigaw ni Jebal noong bigla na lamang tumakbo ang dalaga papunta sa kinaroroonan ng sacred beast.

Tumigil ito sa harapan ng sacred beast at ang nilalang naman ay tumitig sa kaniya.

"What is she doing?! She might be---"

"No. Christa Haille is from Easternia, the land of the elves. Elves are known for their love in nature and that also includes how the sacred beasts trust their kind." Vyann interrupted and just watched what is going on.

The sacred beast lowered it's head and is now calmer than before. Christa touched it's head and stroke it lightly. The other students was amazed how the girl can calm the rampaging beast just by showing up in front of it.

"I'll go ahead." Zai said and walk away like nothing happened. They all just nodded.

Pumasok si Zai sa opisina ng mga guro at katulad ng madalas na nangyayari, nagugulat niya ang mga ito dahil sa biglaang pagbukas niya ng pinto. Inilibot niya ang kaniyang tingin hanggang sa tumigil iyon sa lalaking nakasandal sa upuan at ang dalawang paa ay nakalapag sa sariling lamesa. Ang dalawang braso nito ay nakacross sa kaniyang dibdib at may takip na libro ang mukha. Akmang lalapit na siya rito ngunit may lumapit sa kaniyang isang babaeng guro.

"'Wag mo ng istorbohin. He's really in a bad mood since this morning. Baka sigawan ka lang, iha." saad ng guro. Muling tumingin si Zai kay Sinner at lumapit. Sa paglapit niya ay may pinulot siyang mga papel sa malapit na mesa at inirolyo ito. The other teachers were panicking because of what she's about to do. Tumigil si Zai sa gilid ni Sinner.

"Oy." the girl called out but the man didn't move a single inch. Zai raised the rolled papers, "Hoy!" and suddenly hit Sinner's head. Sinner moved and look at her with a glare and that caused the book to fall. That's when Zai saw his face. He has eyebags and he looks pretty stress.

"What? Disturbing your teacher by hitting? You really got some guts going for ya." ngunit muli siyang pinalo ng dalaga sa ulo at doon na nagsilabasan ang ugat nito sa noo. "What the hell is your problem kid?!"
