Sumalpak agad ako sa kama at hindi na nakapagbihis. Nakabaon ang mukha sa unan. I was out of space inside the car while going home. Pati ang pagpapaalam sa practice ay hindi ko na nabanggit kina mommy at daddy dahil lumilipad ang isip ko kung saan saan.

My sister keeps on teasing about earlier but I just ignored her and mind what's on my mind. Ang daldal.

It was a short sleep when I felt my phone vibrated. Napabalikwas ako sa pagbangon at kinuha ang cellphone. Namuo na naman ang kaunting kaba sakin.

I opened he's text saying that...

Rye:

I'm home. Are you sleep yet?

I bit my lower lip. I've replied briefly.

Ako:

Yup. After my shower.

Sumandal ako sa headboard ng kama at pumikit habang naghihintay sa reply niya. Binalik ko ang tingin sa cellphone pero wala parin. I sighed. Baka busy? Pero sabi niya okay lang mag text kahit busy. Okay lang mag text kaya okay lang din di siya mag reply? Hindi okay sakin 'yon! I felt rejected kapag ganon!

Ako:

Busy ka? Sorry.

Wala parin.

Ako:

Okay I'll take my shower na and then I'll sleep.

Goodnight.

After I send it tumayo na ako at hinubad ang damit para maka shower. I untied my hair and remove my earrings. Sinipat ko ang cellphone sa kama at nakitang umilaw ng dalawang beses kaya hindi ako natuloy.

Rye:

Text me when you're done.

Rye:

I'll wait...

I smiled and did not bother to reply. Tinungo ko na ang banyo at nagmadaling magshower.

Since that day, gabi gabi na kaming nagte-text at araw araw na niya akong sinusundo. A part of me keeps on thinking na baka sa sobrang close niya sa ate ko naging under na yata siya. And I also has this thoughts na:

A. Sadyang mabait lang talaga siya;

B. Baka tinutoo niyang maging Kuya namin siya kaya siya ganyan lastly;

C. According to Ate Cath and Julia, may ibang dahilan?

But whatever options it may be, I am happy to be honest. Masaya ako sa set up namin at mas lalong pagiging close namin sa isat isa. Even my parents agreed and did not ask if there's something special between us. Ako rin naman, hindi ko naisip na meron kaming espesyal sa isat isa. They just go with our flows.

Little by little, somehow I knew some things about him. A little about his family and personal life but more on basics. Like he's usual daily routine as a supervisor and how he handle his men. He's favorite food and outdoor games and even his favorite color! Weird!

"I never regretted letting you know each other,Ae..."

My sister once told me that. I did not regretted knowing him and allowing myself to know him,too. It made me happy and lightened me nowadays.

"So, anong status?"si Julia.

My bestfriend who's very eager to know my status with Ryan. Sinabi ko sa kanya lahat ng iyon cuz she's my bestfriend! She deserves to know every single thing I had!

Pulang pula ang mukha niya at pigil na pigil sa isang malakas ng tili. Nasa soccer field pa naman kami at pinapanoud ang mga may practice.

"We're close and that's it!"
