"Dad, you should come home now. Nagiging warfreak na si mommy..."

He made a hearty laugh on the line.

"Tell your mom I'll be home in a minute."

"We can't talk to her when she's acting like that. Alam mo naman 'yon."sagot ko.

"Then, I'll talk to her later when I'm home. Thanks, sweety."

"Akay po,dad...ingat ka."

Pumasok na ako sa kwarto dahil malamig na sa labas. Hindi ko na nahintay pa ang pagtawag ni Ryan dahil nakatulog na agad ako.

As a promised to him last night that I'll bring him lunch in his office, our driver parked the car on the company's basement. Kinalas ko na ang seatbelt at kinuha ang paper bag na may mga containers para sa lunch. Nagpatulong ako sa cook namin kanina para dito and besides hindi rin naman siya picky sa foods hindi kagaya ko.

Lumabas na ako ng kotse at tinungo ang entrance. The security guards greeted me as I walked in the hall. I greeted them back too and continued walking through the elevators. Some of the employees na naroon ay pinagtitinginan ako pero kalaunan ay ngumingiti na rin.

I went inside the elevator and pressed his floor. Luckily, I was alone inside so I'd fixed myself and slightly comb my hair with my fingers. Tumunog ang lift at lumabas na ako. The employees of his floor craned their neck just to see who's coming. Confidently holding the paper bag, I smiled at every employee who would look at me. And they would smile back at me shyly.

"Diba anak 'yan ni sir?"

"Naligaw 'ata ng floor?"

Nadaanan ko ang mga empleyado na mahinang nag uusap pero narinig ko naman. I know exactly where my parents offices. Kaya lang hindi sila ang pinunta ko sa floor na ito kundi iba.

"Ma'am...n-nasa 20th floor po sina Mr.Sañeda."yumuko pagkatapos niyang sabihin 'yon sa akin.

May isang naglakas loob na lapitan ako. She acted professionally but I can sense that she's slight of trembling and shy. This girl is familiar. If I am not mistaken, ito 'yong kumausap kay Ryan at nag inimbitahan siya.

I smiled at her kahit paman hindi niya makita dahil nakayuko siya.

"I know which floor Mr. Sañeda is,miss. Hm... I would like to ask the office of Mr. Cortez'?"nanliit ang mata ko.

Nag angat siya ng tingin at mumunting gulat na bakas sa mukha niya. I smiled wider. Yes,girl. This is the first time I'll visit my boyfriend so where is his office located?

Nang makabawi hilaw naman siyang ngumiti. "A-ah! Doon p-po ang opisina ni sir Cortez, ma'am!"tinuro niya ang nag iisang pintuan sa pinakadulo.

Agad ko namang nakuha iyon sa kanya. "Alright! Thanks..."before I turned my back at her.

I knocked thrice before I opened his office's door. Una kong nakita ang itim na pandalawahang sofa at painting sa ibabaw ng wall. Nang maluwagan ko ang pagkakabukas, he's eyes immediately darted on me and smiled a bit.

"Hi!"maligaya kong bati sa kanya at tuluyan ng pumasok. Nilapag ko sa maliit na lamesa ang paper bag bago pasimpleng umikot para makita ang kabuoan ng opisina niya.

This is my first time here!

White is the background and mostly black ang mga shelves, ang lamesa at furnitures, and the two paintings are abstract with different dark colours.

"Not bad..."ngiti ko sabay lingon sa kanya na ngayon ay nakahilig na sa kanyang swivel chair.

He sighed and just look at me deeply.
