That was a long night for everyone. My parents decided to just end the party earlier because of some work for the next day. Nonetheless, everyone enjoyed and was happy.

My parents approved to whatever Ryan said to them just to get their permission. Kaya naman mas nauna kaming umuwi para makapagpahinga ako ng mahaba. Aalis agad kami bukas dahil nakapag file na siya ng ilang araw para sa leave.

Akala ko iyon na natatapos ang lahat. But when my mother enter my room, in her usual silk robe, then...there's something isn't done yet.

Nakahiga na ako sa kama ng pumasok siya kaya napilitan akong bumangon para makaharap siya.

"The party is so great,Ae. Thank you for the efforts,anak."she sat on the edge of my bed.

"You're welcome,mom. Anything for you and for dad."

Ngumiti siya. Ilang segundo kaming natahimik bago siya nagsalita ulit. She sighed and looked at me.

"I never thought that I would end up with your father..."

I shifted on my bed when I heard those first line from her.

"...I love your dad so much. But I always had this in the back of my mind saying that what if... something happened. Could it be we fell out of love or a mistress. Maghihiwalay kaya kami? Iiwan kaya niya ako para sa iba? You see...love will fade. Everything from the very beginning that you feel will fade."

I felt something. I felt something behind her words. It's like a bill that rang to wake me up from my sleeping senses.

"There's one thing I kept on looking up to...that's his words. Your father's words saying that he'll be in my side no matter what. That he'll be with me throughout my entire life. That he will stay. In spite fading feelings he held on to his words it's not because the love he had for me but it's because he promised... through his words."

Sincerity is all written in my mother's face. Tumatagos...Na kahit ako nakaramdam no'n.

"Mom...Hindi ko po maintindihan..."sabi ko ng wala sa sarili.

"It's like a clue,anak. I am giving you a hint. Na kahit gaano mo pa kamahal ang isang tao...mangyayari at darating ang panahon na mawawala ang nararamdaman mo para sa kanya pero may isang mananatili. It's his word. Always remember that,Ae."

Even if I try to put everything she said...I couldn't get it. I tried to understand but I just couldn't.

"Take care on your trip tomorrow. Call us when you need anything,okay?"

"Salamat po sa pagpayag,mom. This means a lot to us."

Tumayo siya at nilapitan ako. Yumakap siya at hinagkan ako sa noo. "Anything that makes you happy,Ae. Anything. Goodnight,anak."

"Goodnight po."

Isang malalim na paghinga ang pinakawalan ko ng mapag isa sa kwarto. I think I won't be able to sleep well tonight.

I punched his arm. We're inside his car now. Madaling araw niya akong sinundo sa bahay at agad na umalis. We were talking seriously but he will change the topic into something funny.

"Kanina kapa!" I grunted.

"What?"natatawa niyang tanong.

I rolled my eyes on him and just look at the window outside. Unti unti ng lumabas ang araw na nagbibigay liwanag sa langit.

"Sleep first. I'll wake you up for breakfast sa drive thru."aniya.

"Alright...I love you."saka tinabunan ang mukha sa jacket na hawak.

I heard him chuckled. Siraulo.

This will be the longest week that we'll spend together. It excites me. Lahat ng nasa isipan ko kagabi ay isinantabi ko muna para magsaya at masolo siya.

Ginising niya ako para sa breakfast at itinabi ang kotse para sabay kaming kumain. He ordered all the foods in McDo.

"Mauubos ba natin 'to?"kinagatan ko ang chicken at sumubo ng kanin.

"We'll have a long ride so it's fine. Kumain kapa ng marami."aniya.

We continued eating. Paminsan minsan niya akong sinusubuuan and I just let him. I'm enjoying this moment cuz later,for sure, he'll piss me again.

"Ito na ba 'yon?"tanong ko sabay siwang ng ulo sa bintana.

There was a tall post and it says,"Rancho de Cortez". May daanan na pwedeng makapasok ang kotse at binaybay niya ang daan na 'yon.

"We're almost there..."sabi niya.

Pumasok kami sa isang daan na sakto lang para magkasya ang kotse niya. There are tall coconut trees both sides and it was painted in different lively colors. Hanggang sa unti unti ko ng makita ang paglitaw ng malaking gate na may arko sa ibabaw. 'Familia de Cortez'

Isang busina lang ng kotse niya at maya maya'y binuksan ng isang binata ang malaking gate. The car stop right in front of an old but elegant ancestral home. Sabay kaming lumabas. The heat of the sun immediately touched my skin.

"Kuya Ryan! Sa wakas!"the boy went to us and greeted.

"Michael! Kumusta?"

"Ayos lang po. Kanina pa po kami naghihintay. Matagal tagal kayong hindi nakabalik, Kuya."

Napakamot sa batok ang katabi ko. "Pasensya kana. Busy ako sa trabaho. By the way..."he pulled me on his side to face Michael. "Ae, this is Michael, ang hardinero rito sa bahay. Michael, this is my girlfriend,Aela."

Sumipol si Michael. "'Yon oh! Nice meeting you po, ma'am."naglahad siya ng kamay.

"Nice meeting you too, Michael."sabi ko.

"Tara na po sa taas, kuya! Naghihintay napo sina Kuya Matthew, Nana Eva at mang Ricky."si Michael na nagpatiuna sa pag akyat.

Mahigpit ang hawak ni Ryan saking kamay. "You ready?"

I sighed deeply. "Hmm...yes..."I said doubtfully.

"Alright, babe, let's go."before pulling me inside the house.

Hi! Matagal update natin kasi busy sa school. Hirap pag graduating e. Hehe. By the way, stop mo na ako for the meantime kasi immersion nako for how many days and I badly need to fucos para sa future haha! But I'll do my best to continue this story and won't let you left hanging(di ako kasi katulad ng iba jan na nang iiwan nalang bigla without notice and ayaw ko rin kayo maiwan kasi I know how does it felt being left charutt).
