The next day I got busy doing some updates about the caterers and the venue. Ang sabi'y okay na raw lahat at ang mismong araw nalang ang hinihintay.

Aside from that, nagpatulong rin si Ate sa mga kunting invitations na ipapadala through emails and cards para sa mga close friends at relatives namin. Hindi rin naman ako nahirapan doon kaya ayos lang.

Ryan, on the other hand, always texts me whenever he has free time. Naisisingit ko rin 'yon para may oras sa kanya. Not that I haven't spent time with him pero sobra pa nga. It's fine,though, I'm complete with his presence.

Friday night and we finalized everything we've planned. Nasa library kami and of course, without mom. Pinakita namin lahat kay daddy ang venue at motif nito. Nagandahan siya kaya halos tenga iyong ngiti niya.

"Bibigyan paba ng invitations sina Tito John at Tita Mariel,dad?"si Ate na nakaharap sa laptop.

"I told them already so I think no need. What about William's parents?"

Ngumiwi siya sa narinig mula kay daddy. "Nasa abroad ang mga 'yon e."

Tumango naman siya at sunod na tumingin sa gawi ko. "I already invited Ryan together with his parents so no need to send invitations,too."then she smiled.

My father has the sweetest smile.

Ngumiti ako. "Thanks, daddy!"

"I also invited someone who will sing our favorite song...you know to dance your mom."pahabol niya.

"That's great,then."pag sang ayon ko.

"Banda po ba,daddy?"my sister.

"No. But he's great even when he stopped singing long time ago."sagot ni daddy kay Ate.

"Everything's done!"my sister clapped her hands when she finally sent the last invitations.

"Mom will surely love this surprise!"sabi ko.

"Great job,girls. Thank you for helping me out."si dad naman ngayon ang pumalakpak.

"Hay nako,dad...wala 'to. By the way, is mom really okay now about what happened last, last night...'yong matagal ka po nakauwi?"she closed her laptop and give her full attention asking.

He shrugged his shoulders.

"You're mom is fine about it. I explained to her why I was late because I have to attend another meeting and she says 'its fine, honey I understand'".

My sister and I rolled our eyes coincidentally.

"But she looked like a lioness that night and...oh!"I laughed halfway.

Nagtawanan kaming tatlo sa loob ng library.

"And she even said that 'huwag niyo ng papasukin' like... eww!"

Humagalpak ulit kami sa tawa. Dad's shoulders are shaking because of his loud laugh. Natigil lang kami sa katok mula sa labas.

"Shit.Shit.Shit!"

We panicked while taking off all the invitation cards that's spread on the table. Sobrang bilis ng tibok ng puso ko dahil sa kaba at takot na baka maabutan kami ni mommy sa loob. Ang mga nakuha ni Ate at diretso niyang initsa sa cabinet sa gilid kaya naghagisan narin kami ni daddy para mapasuk roon. Hindi ko alam pero natatawa ako at takot sa nangyayari sa amin.

The click of the doorknob was a trigger to us. Saktong pagpasok ni mommy,suot ang kanyang roba,naisarado na ni Ate ang cabinet at nakaupo na si Daddy. I am a bit shaking and I bet this two also. We bought faked a smile. Muntik na!
