"Max shut the hell up! Somebody might hear you!"El screeched at Max,both of them as well as the rest of the party currently in the Hoppers' living room.

"Oh come onn El! Everyone's doing their own thing and plus the parents are in the kitchen!"Max winked at her

"Yeah well doesn't mean I want everyone to know what I was doing last night!"she whispered  with a yell at her

"Ugh fine but you're telling me tomorrow"Max smirked at her knowingly

El rolled her eyes at her best friend and went to where her boyfriend was talking with the other boys. As soon as he saw her, Mike put a secure arm around her and kissed her forehead.

"Ew get a room finally!"Dustin told them playfully

"Yeah yeah Dustin, whatever makes you feel better"Mike shot back smirking at him

The party broke up in a fit of laughter joined by Dustin himself whose expression eventually went to a smirk before speaking

"You know you're right, but I feel like you felt much better last night with El-" 

"So what are we talking about kids?" Hopper said coming out of the kitchen with Joyce and the rest of the parents

The teens widened their eyes and looked at Mike and El who were blushing furiously.

"Nothing!" Max, Will and Lucas said in unison before anyone could say anything else

"Okay..." Hopper chuckled at them "Wheeler, because it is christmas I am going to ignore the fact that you are hugging my daughter BUT I don't want to see you kissing her because I will destroy the whole house!" he warned

"okay gotcha" he replied and froze at the thought of Hopper learning about what he actually did with El.

Poor chief, he still thought that they were making out.

As it was Christmas day, everyone decided it would be a good idea to meet at one house and celebrate together, which was decited to be the Byers' one.

So now after everyone was sat down on the dining table and started eating the turkey mrs Wheeler had baked, Mike and El kept eyeing each other from time to time and exchanging loving looks and smiles, as well as max and lucas-who were rubbing their toes under the table. Mr Wheeler got up to make a toast. It wasn't really important or special either, just a plain merry Christmas and wishes for happiness and good health. 

"Enjoy your christmas too, Ted" the others said

They all finished with their food-and the delicious christmas pudding made by Mrs Henderson- and went to open their presents. Under the big Christmas tree Joyce had put up there, was a whole bunch of boxes wrapped with colourful paper and perfectly made rebons.

Joyce and Hopper had gotten El and Will a new pair of headphones each for their walkmans. Lucas got two tickets for the biggest football game of the next year that he had been wanting to go.Max got the new CD of her fav soap opera and Mike finally, got a brand new guitar.

"Woah that's so cool thanks mom, thanks dad"Mike hugged them both

After everyone had opened their presents and went back to their own conversation,El pulled Mike in her room, making sure that Hopper was concentrated on his conversation with mr Sinclair
