Veronica's POV

And I'm kind of back in the beginning. Damnit! I knew this is going to be bad from the beginning, but I always thought it would be me to screw it up. At least nobody knows, that I know of. I know Betty wouldn't tell anyone, not even her own friends. Which I kind of feel like would be my fault, but it's actually both of ours. I don't know anyone here so I can't really let anything slip.

Right now I'm getting shit ready for tomorrow because tomorrow is Monday. You love to hear it. You know? I've always wanted to be a teacher and then becoming a fucking highschool teacher right after getting out of college is weird.

Toni's POV

"Somethings up with, Betty." I say as Cheryl and I walk out if the house. She nods. "You think I know that." She said. "Okay. The attitude?" I said. She glared at me then let out a calm sigh. "I'm just a bit worried. I mean the past week she hasn't really been around us. I mean she has, but hasn't all at the same time. Do you know what I mean?" I nodded. "Yes, I do. Let's just wait to see. Maybe she just didn't want to come or got busy." She nodded. "Yea, I guess your right. Wait why didn't you say that before we went to inttorgate her?" I laughed a little. "I don't think that was interrogating back there." "Yea."

MONDAY
Betty's POV

School. You love and hate it, but for me I actually love it, sometimes. Right now I'm getting ready for school with a smile on my face. I walked downstairs and my mom stopped me. "So your little friends said you never came to their house." I laughed a little. "Why didn't you say this to me yesterday?" I asked her. "Cause I forgot. Where were you this last weekend? Don't make me ask again." Rule/reason number seven 'secrets and lies would be a new part of your life.'

"Uhh you know what, mom? That is none of your business. I'm fine and I'm alive. I guess you don't need to know that bad." I said and started walking towards the door. "Wait what?" Is all I heard before I opened the door to leave. I was stopped by a few farmies. Ugh! "Hi Betty." Who the fuck is this? "Hi. I have to get to school now so bye." I said walking through them. "Why? School doesn't start for another fourty-five minutes." The girl said. I looked back at her. "Okay, but who are you?" I asked her. "Oh Evelyn. Evelyn Evernever." "Okay so, Evelyn, I have to get to school." I said and turned to walk away. "Riverdale high?" She questioned. I let out an annoyed sigh. "Yes, how'd you know?" I asked and turned to look at her again. "Well that's where I'm going." She said with a smile on her face. "Just wait I can walk with you." She said. "I was only staying for a few minutes. I just wanted to talk to your mom about one little thing." She added. I sighed. "I'm good thanks." I said and walked off.

After a few minutes of walking I heard someone walking up behind me. I turned and saw Evelyn. "Hi." She said again. I looked away from her and rolled my eyes. "Hi Evelyn." I said. "You were in such a hurry to leave your house a few minutes ago. Why?" "Is that really any of your business?" "Well I was just wondering. You know since your mom came to the farm we're gonna have to be friends." Who does this bitch think she is? "Uhh well I don't uhh..." What the fuck am I supposed to say to cult person? "Can't find words?" She asked. I just nodded along.

When we finally got to the school immediately walked off. I found Kevin sitting in the students lounge. I went and sat next to him. "Hey Betty." He said. "Hi Kev." I replied. Then Cheryl and Toni walked in. "What're we talking about?" Cheryl asked. "Nothing I just got here." I said.

About thirty minutes later the bell rang. "Okay come on, Betty." Kevin said. I got up and we walked to our class.

The first person I look at who also looks at me is, guess who. Veronica! Big surprise! Okay that sounds like I'm annoyed or something... I don't even know anymore.

I looked away and smile and walked to my seat. "How did that smile get your face?" Kevin asked me. I looked at him trying to hide my smile. "What're you talking about?" I asked. "Don't play dumb. It not gonna work on me." This is much harder than I thought it would be, gosh! "I'm just happy to be here and not at home. With my mother." I said. "Why?" He asked. "Eh she joined this cult thing called 'the farm'." I said. "Oh okay. That still doesn't explain the smiling." I rolled my eyes. "Nevermind that." I said. "Okay."
