Part Thirty-four

Veronica's POV

I woke up to my alarm, next to Betty. I smiled as she mumbled. "Turn it off." I laughed a little and turned it off. I looked back at her and she was facing me with her eyes still closed. "Thank you." She mumbled. I was still smiling and kissed her forehead. "Go back to sleep." I said climbing out of the bed and made sure she was still covered up. I took and quick shower.

When I was done, I walked downstairs and Betty was standing at the island in the kitchen. "What are you doing up?" I asked. She looked back at me and smiled. I smiled at her. Her hair was down and she was wearing and t-shirt and was in her underwear. I walked over, next to her. "What are you doing up?" I asked again. "Well I woke up while you were in the shower and couldn't go back to sleep." She said. "Well you wouldn't have to get up for another hour." I told her. "I know I just couldn't go back to sleep." She turned towards me. "When are you leaving?" She asked. "About an hour." I told her. "Oh okay." She said. "Hey are you Okay? You seem upset." She shook her head. "I'm fine. I'm just tired, but can't sleep." She said. "I hate that." I said putting my hand on hers. She smiled again. "I love you so much. More than you know." She said. "I love you more." I said. "Not possible." She argued.

An hour later

I had left. Betty tried to get me to stay for so long. I kept telling her I had to go, but she never gave up till I just left. I don't think she liked that very much.

When clasess started Betty was the first one in the class. She looked at me for a second then looked away. I rolled my eyes, smiled and texted her.

Betty

Are you mad at me about this morning.

Yes!

You can't be that mad if your texting me.

Well I can't stay mad at your beautiful face.

**I blushed.

I can't even text you that without you blushing.

Shut up!

**I put my down and class started.

Cheryl's POV

As class was about to start Betty was on her phone texting someone. I tried to see who she was texting, but I couldn't get to close without it being suspicious. I looked back at Kevin and he nodded. I looked up at the teacher who started smiling and was looking at her phone. I looked back at Betty who was smiling at her phone. I pulled my phone out and text both Kevin and Toni.

TT and Kevin

C: We are talking to her after school.

I looked back at Kevin who nodded and looked at his phone and started typing.

K: Finally!

T: What made you finally let us do this?

C: We'll talk later.

T: Okay.

After school
Betty's POV

I walked to my locker when my phone buzzed. It was Veronica.

Veronica

Come home with me?

**I smiledand bit my lip.

For what?

You wanna find out?

I do.

Then, I'm at my car.

I'm coming.

**I quickly started to walk away from my locker, smiling. That's when I ran into Cheryl, Toni and Kevin. "Oh hey Betty." Cheryl said. "Bye Betty." She said and they started walking away. "Hey Toni, Cheryl, I won't be home till about nine ten-ish." I said. "Okay." Toni said and I walked off.

When I got outside I quickly walk to Veronica's car. When I got inside, she was sitting on the driver's side with her phone out. She put her phone way and smiled at me. "Hey." She said, biting her lower lip. "You wanted me to come home with you?" I said still smiling. "Yes, I did." She said putting her hand on my thigh. I licked my lips a little. "Can we go?" I said biting my lower lip now. "Someone is very impatient." She said. "Well I would go ahead and kiss you now, but people may see." "You've kissed me in the classroom before." "Yea, but I don't think I'll be able to stop if I kiss you now." Her smile turned into a smirk. "Then I guess we better hurry." She said. "Oh please." I said and we drove off.
