The English Teacher

Part Fourty-six

Veronica's POV

I woke up smiling, even though it was to my alarm. I turned off my alarm and turned to Betty. She was still sleeping. Yes! I climbed out of bed and grabbed clothes and started to leave the room. I looked back at her and smiled at how adorable she is.

I was eating breakfast when Betty came downstairs. "Good morning sunshine." I said. She smiled sleepily. "Mmm morning." She said sitting next to me. She put her arms on the tables and put her head on her arms. I got up and stood behind her. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Nothing." She said. "Surprisingily, you didn't wake up to my alarm today." I said putting my hands on her shoulders. "I know. I'm tired." I smiled. "Oh, yea, and why is that?" I asked. "Oh, shut up! I just want to sleep right now." She said lifting her head up. "But, you can't." I said. I moved some of her hair and started to kiss her neck. She tilted her head a little. "Why can't I?" She asked. I pulled away from her neck for a second. "Because, you have school." She sighed and I started kissing her neck again. She slightly moaned. "But school sucks." She said. I laughed a little. "You'll have to deal with it." I told her. "But it's Tuesday." She said. "But before you know it it'd be Saturday." I said sitting next to her. "Aww why'd you stop?" She asked. "Well, you wouldn't stop talking to me and you need yo get ready for school." She sighed and stood up. "Fine, but only because I'll be able to see you there." I smiled. "I know."

Once at school, we did what we did yesterday. I went inside and he stayed in the car. I just hope today doesn't have drama.

After a while Betty came into the class room. I smiled and she sat at her desk. I looked at the time. 7:45. "Fifthteen minutes before classes start." Betty said. I looked at her. "Yea?" "And I'm very bored." She smirked. "So?" I asked. "You know what? Nevermind." She said. "No..." I started and stood up, walking over to her. "What is it?" I asked. "I'll make you wait." I rolled my eyes. "For what?" I asked. She grabbed my hands. "Ugh! Could you two not do this five minutes before class starts." It was Cheryl. Betty rolled her eyes, pulling her hands away and we both looked at Cheryl. "Shut up, Cheryl!" Betty said as Cheryl went to he seat. Betty and I looked at each other. "You know, you might as well quit a this point. It's no use with her slowly telling everybody things." She said. I sighed. "I know." I went and sat at my desk again. Students started coming in. "The first bell hasn't even rung yet." I said sort of to myself. I looked at Betty who was slightly laughing herself. I grabbed my phone and texted her.

Betty

V: What are you laughing at?

B: You.

V: Why?

B: Nothing just you being confused.

Betty's POV

"Hey can we talk for a second?" It was Cheryl. "What?" I asked a little annoyed. "Well, Toni and I, well, we wanna talk after school, and we were wondering if you would want to come over and talk?" I sighed. "About?" I asked. "We just want to hang out." She said. I sighed. "Fine!"

After school

I was at my locker when Cheryl and Toni came upto me. "Can you come home with us?" They asked. "Uhh no, can't, busy." I said. "Fucking the teacher?" Cheryl asked. "I quickly looked at her. "Will you shut up!?" I almost yelled. "What? I bet it's true." Cheryl said. "Okay Cheryl calm down. Now, Betty, will you come home with us or not? Besides, it'll be easier than you going home with us and going home to her, than you going home with her and then coming to us and back." I sighed. "Yeah fine. Just let me tell her I'm not going home with her." Toni nodded whole Cheryl rolled her eyes.

I walked into her classroom. She smiled when she saw me. "Hey, I'm not gonna be able to go home with you tonight." I said as I reached the desk. "Okay? Why?" She asked. I sighed. "They want to talk to me." "Ew, you mean the people who are trying to ruin our lives?" I sighed again. "Sadly yes." I said. "Okay." I started to walk away. "But, I'll be waiting." She said. I turned and looked at her. She had the biggest smile on her face. I smiled too. "I bet you will be." I said and walked out.

When we got the their house it was like I never left. It was still the same old fucking place where I ran out of and was also told to break up with my girlfriend, by my so called friends.

"So, why'd you want to talk to me?" I asked we just stood in the living room. "You--" Cheryl started, but I cut her off. "Me and Veronica?" I asked. Toni sighed. "Yes." She said quietly. I scoffed. "Of course!" I said. "Well, we just want to know one thing." Toni started. "What?" I asked annoyed. "How exactly did you guys get together? And how strong is your relationship?" Toni asked. "We got together by Sweet Water River. I was there to get away from my mother and she just so happened to be there. Then before I knew it we were making out." I said. "And how strong our relationship is. I'd say it's... really strong." I told them. "That's great!" Cheryl said sarcastically. "And how much do you love her?" She asked. I slightly smirked. "Well, from how much I kiss and touch her body every night, I'd say a lot." I said and they both gave me shocked expressions.  Cheryl made a small sound of disgust. "Now, if you two'll excuse me, I better get going." Toni nodded her head slightly and I left.

Once I got back the Veronica's she was sitting on the couch watching TV. I shut the door and she looked back at me. "What'd they want?" She asked and I walked over to the couch. "What they always want. To know about us." I said. "Of course." She sighed, I sat next to her. "That's what I said." "What'd they ask." "Well, they asked when and where we got together." "Sweet Water River." "Yes, and how strong is our relationship. I told them it is really strong." She smiled. "And then." Her smiled disappeared. "What?" She asked annoyed. "They asked how my I loved you." "And what did you say." I slightly smirked, once again. "Well, from how much I kiss and touch her body every night, I'd say a lot." A shocked smile came across her face. "You didn't?!" I nodded. "Oh, yes, I did. They're reactions were priceless." I told her. "This is why I'm with you." She said. "Why?" I asked. "Because, you'll say anything to shut people up." I smiled. "Yea? And I can do it with you too." I told her. "Really? Try me!" "Oh, I have, and I will again." Her mouth fell open. "Oh, my god!" She said. I smiled and looked at the TV. Then, next thing I know she was straddling me and kissing me. I kissed her back. "I love you." She said softly. "I. Love. You. Too." I said in between kisses. Then, we ended up in her bed...
