Veronica's POV
"Fucking alarms." I said turning mine off. "Turn in off and stay in bed." Betty said. I sighed. "Everyday. This is an everyday thing." I said. She nodded. "Yea, and everyday you ignore me." She said. "Yes, and it's really hard to do that." I said. "Yea? And why is that?" She asked. "Because, you are to adorable and beautiful for me to just leave in a bed by herself." She smiled and hid her face in the pillow. "Aww don't do that." I said. "Go away! Go get around." She said. I laughed. "Okay, bye." I said climbing out of the bed. I grabbed clothes and as soon as I got to the door she said something. "No! I've changed my mind! Come back!" She said. "No, I can't." "Fuck you!" She yelled. "Oh, you wish you could right now."
Betty's POV
When we got to the school I walked straight to the students lounge. When I got there Toni, Cheryl and Kevin were sitting there. I was smiling. "Why are you so happy?" Kevin asked. "Because I'm happy. Can't I be happy without being questioned?" I asked. "No, I bet she fucked you-know-who last night." Cheryl said. "So what if I did?" I asked. "Okay, ew gross we didn't need to know that." Toni said. "Well, I didn't say I did." "But you never said you didn't." "Fair point. But Cheryl doesn't have to be so loud." I said. "She still wants us to be caught." I added. "You know, I might as well do what she said to do." Cheryl said. I looked at her, confused. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Well when you were gone, and into the woods behind the house, she said something; Once we find Betty you guys and go to hating me and try to get Betty to end things with me or sabotage us or anything you want. Tell the damn principal if you'd like." "I love it." I said. "What?" Cheryl asked. "She said we could tell a person that could tear your relationship apart." I nodded. "That's my point. She said you could tell someone even if it would ruin and tear us apart. Meaning she doesn't care about what other people think or do. I guess, she loves me too much." I said. "Yeah. Yeah, she's right." Toni said. We all looked at her. "What?" Cheryl asked. "Did anybody else see the worry on her face when Betty was in the woods behind the house?" Toni said. "No. I only saw bitchiness." Cheryl said and I rolled my eyes. "Well, I did. I saw worry." Toni got up and stood in front of me. "I wanna get to know her." She said. I smiled happily. "What? TT, no." "Cheryl, no. I'm gonna listen. Your just gonna say shit that I don't wanna listen too." She looked from Cheryl to me again. "I don't wanna know her as my english teacher. I wanna know her as my bestfriends girlfriend." I smiled at her. "How about after school?" I asked. She nodded. "Yea okay." Then the bell rang for class.
After school
I was sitting in the english classroom when Toni walked in and came over to me. "Hey can we talk real quick." I nodded grabbing my things. Toni walked to the door and I looked at Veronica. "We'll talk later." She nodded and I walked out with Toni. "What?" I asked as we walked down the halls. "I need to tell you something." She said. "Okay? What?" "So, I'm pretty sure Cheryl is kicking me out of the house." She said. I looked at her. "What why?" I asked. "Because, I'm trying to be a good friend and she's not." "I'm sorry." I said. "Eh it's fine." Then my phone buzzed. It was Veronica.
Veronica
V: Hey, I'm leaving.
B: Okay, I'm gonna stay and talk with Toni for while.
V: Okay?
B: Love you
V: Love you too
"Wanna go to Pop's?" Toni asked. I nodded. "Yeah, sure."
When we got to Pop's we sat in a booth and started talking. "So, was that who I think it was texting you?" Toni asked. "What?" "At the school. Right before I asked if you wanted to come here." She was smiling. "Oh, yea, it was." I told her. "That's what I thought. You smiled when you looked at the screen." I rolled my eyes. "Yea, okay." "It's true! It was adorable to." What? Did she really just say that? After awhile we left and started going to Veronica's. "Okay, is it weird that I'm kind of nervous about having my friend meet my girlfriend?" I asked. "No, not really. Besides, I'd imagine why your nervous. We always ssay shit about it and it's never really good." She said. "Well, I've gotta say that was mainly Cheryl who did that." She nodded. "Yea, that's true."
When we got to the house it was about six-thirty. I opened the door and we went inside. "Betty!? Is that you?!" Veronica yelled from her room. "Yea!" I yelled back. She came downstairs smiling, that was until she saw Toni. "Uhh what's this?" She asked as she reached the bottom of the stairs. I opened my mouth to say something, but was interrupted by Toni. "I'm here to get to know you." Veronica looked at her with confusion. "What?" Veronica asked. "I've realized that I'm losing a friend because I'm worried about her relationship. And yea it might be illegal, but you can count on me to keep my mouth shut. Besides, Betty's my bestfriend and I don't want to loose her." I smiled at Toni then looked at Veronica. "What do you wanna know?"
We talked for a while. "Okay. I have to go." Toni said. "Is Cheryl really kicking you out?" I asked. "Uhh I don't know, but I guess that's why I should leave, to find out." She said. We both laughed. I hugged her at the door. "Bye, and thank you for for trying to understand this. It means alot." She smiled. "No problem, your my bestie." She said and left. I shut the door and walked back to the couch sitting next to Veronica. "I don't like her." She said. I looked at her. "Why not?" I asked. "She was to flirty with you." I laughed a little. "We're just friends. Besides, we did that a lot to mess with Cheryl. But Cheryl always thought I was straight, I think that's why she got so pissed." I told her. "Well, I'm not Cheryl and you both are gay right?" I nodded. "Yea okay?" At this moment I remembered back to when Veronica and I first got together. The smile on my face disappeared and I sighed. "Is something wrong?" Veronica asked. "I need to tell you something, but I want you to promise not to get mad." I said. "Anything." I sighed. "So, Toni and I have had a moment. I had just came out to her and she asked how I knew I felt this way. I told her because I liked her last year, but don't anymore." She shrugged. "Okay, and why would I get mad at this?" I looked down. "Because... we had just gotten together." "What?" She asked. I felt my eyes tearing up. "I didn't know how to tell you. We had just gotten together literally a week before and I was scared. This has been my only real relationship since... ever!" I never looked back up at her. Not even a glace. "So, you just never told me that it happened?" "Like I said I was scared and we had just gotten together. I just didn't know how to tell you. And it wasn't like I wanted to kiss her, she kissed me." Tears were streaming out of my eyes at this point. She lifted my head up with her hand. She had a smile on her face. I still scared and nervous and worried. "I'm not mad." "You aren't?" I asked. "No, it was long time ago, and you also told me, instead of me finding out." She said wiping my tears. I smiled a little. "Let's watch TV." I nodded and that's exactly what we did.
I
'm a bitch! I'm left home alone with my brother and I have to clean the house. My brother was eating. He walks upto his room without cleaning up his mess of food. I yell "GET DOWN HERE AND PICK UP YOUR MESS!" He responds with "I will in a little." That wasn't good enough so I went upto his room and he was on his xbox. I turned off his xbox and ran downstairs so I wouldn't get murdered. He started screaming and yelling and cursing me out. All I could do was laugh. This happened five minutes ago.
