Betty's POV

I was laying in Veronica's bed again. We were facing each other, smiling like idiots. I gave her a soft kiss on the lips. She blushed a little. I turned over and grabbed my phone. "It's four." I said. "It feels much earlier." Veronica said. I looked back at her and as soon as I did she kissed me. I smiled and kissed her back. "Mmm... I should get going." I said. She sighed. "Why?" She complained. "Cause I haven't been to Cheryl's and Toni's since I left last night and I even have messages to prove that they're worried." I told her. She layed her head back down. "You have such good friends." She said. "I know, but sometimes they're so annoying. Just like right now." I said and got up. She got up too. I started getting my shirt and shirts on. "Your friends are being assholes right now." Veronica said. I laughed. "Yes, they are." I said and kissed her passionately.

When I pulled away she sighed. "I know I don't want to leave right now, but they'll keep texting  and calling me if you haven't already notcied." She nodded. "Oh yea I've noticed." I laughed a little.

We walked downstairs and over to the door. "Bye." I said and kissed her again then opened the door. "Bye." She said as I left.

When I got to Cheryl's and Toni's it was four-twenty. I sighed then opened the door and went inside. As soon as I walked into the living room Cheryl and Toni immediately noticed me. Cheryl got up and hugged me. Toni got up and stuck her head around the corner. "Hey guys Betty's back." She said and ran back over and hugged me with Cheryl. When they stopped hugging me I was immediately pulled into another hug by Kevin. "Okay guys I'm fine." I said and Kevin stopped hugging me. "Where the hell were you?" Cheryl asked. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You left at like six last night. You never come home so we get worried. You don't answer any of our calls or texts for any of us. I wanna know where you were." I sighed and quickly came up with a lie. "I went to see my mom and her new family." I said. Cheryl sighed. "Okay, one: why would you do that? And two: you couldn't text us that you were okay?" I sighed now. "One: because I wanted to see my mother. And two: because my phone is dead." Just then my phone buzzed. Which could be a text right as I'm telling a lie. "It doesn't seem like it's dead." Toni said. "Okay it WAS dead." I lied. "Okay guys the good thing is Betty's okay." Jughead said. "Yea. Jughead right. As long as we know where she went and that she's fine now it's okay." Kevin said. "Yea." I said. "Okay." Cheryl said. After that Kevin and Jughead left and I went upto my room.

A few minutes later there was a knock at the door then it opened. "Betty?" It was Cheryl. She walked over to the bed and down sat at my feet. "Yes?" I said. She sighed. "Where were you?" She asked. "What do you mean? I told you at was at my mom's new house with her new family." I said. I know she knows I'm lying, but I can't fucking tell her shit. "Betty I know that's not where you were at." She sighed. "So now tell me where were you. And don't tell me you were at your mom's." I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Well I can tell you I was at my mom's cause I was." "Betty you suck at lying sometimes and right now it part of that sometimes." "Okay what it u wasn't?! What if I was somewhere else?! I don't need to tell you cause it's my business!" I defended and got up. I stood in front of her. She stood up and we looked at each other. "Well I'm sorry that I care about you and I get worried." She said. "Well I'm old enough to take care of myself!" I said. "Your right, but I'm also your friend and I care. I care about you and if your hurt and if your happy." I sighed. "I know you do, but sometimes I just need time to myself, Cheryl. Just like you need time to yourself and Toni to." She nodded. "I know, but like I said I'm--" I cut her off. "Your worried, I know." She smiled and I smiled back. "I'm sorry for getting pissed at you." I said. She shrugged. "No, it's my fault, I was interrogating you." She said. "I. Wouldn't say interrogating just being a little... pushy." We laughed. "Yea okay." She said. We heard a small laugh at the door and we both looked to see who it was. "You two are the worst people to hear arguing." Toni said. "What the hell do you mean?" I asked. "I've been standing here for the past couple of minutes and you two were arguing then apologizing like thirty seconds later." Toni said. I rolled my eyes. "It's because we're friends/cousins and we love each other so we have hate to argue." Cheryl said. "Okay, well I'm bored and your guys arguement made it worse." Cheryl walked over to the door. "Okay let's leave her alone." Cheryl said and pulled Toni out of the room. I layed back down in the bed and eventually fell asleep.
