Veronica's POV

I woke up with a huge smile on my face. All the memories from last night came flooding back. I stretched my arms out and realized Betty wasn't laying next to me. I got and grabbed my phone. It's nine-thirty in the morning. I put a shirt on and walked downstairs. I didn't see here. Just then my phone buzzed.

Betty

I'm sorry. I left a few hours ago.

** All I could reply was 'okay.' I'm confused right now. Did I do something wrong?

Betty's POV
A few hours ago

I woke up and it was still dark out. I slowly got up and grabbed my phone. It was three in the morning. I looked back at Veronica. She looks so cute when she's sleeping. I smiled. My phone buzzed in my hand I quickly looked at it. The buzzing didn't stop after the first time. I kept getting messages from Cheryl and Toni and Kevin and even Jughead. All the messages went from 'Where are you?' to 'Are you okay?' And 'Where did you go last night?'

I quickly grabbed all my stuff and put my clothes back on. I quickly and quietly made my way downstairs and out of the house. I then started walking to Cheryl's and Toni's as slow as I could. I made them worried. And I'm pretty sure me being not being at Veronica's when she wakes up is going to make her worried to. I decided to go to Pop's.

I think I lost track of time because by the time I looked at my phone again it was seven. I got up and left Pop's. Once again I didn't go to Cheryl's and Toni's I'll let them worry about me just a bit longer. I know that's rude and a bad thing, but I don't care.

I went to Sweet water river just to walk around. I don't know why I'm staying away from everybody, but it relives the stress I have, to just be alone and think about things.

Eventually I sat next to the river. I once again looked at the time. I looked at it every once in the while. 7:30. 7:45. 8:00. 8:15. 8:30. 8:45. 9:15. 9:25. 9:45. I think, maybe, Veronica is up and is worried about me. I texted her. I told her I left a few hours ago. She texted back okay. I wish she asked if something was wrong, but at the same time I'm glad she didn't. How am I supposed to explain why I left the day after the night we kind of, sort of, maybe, had sex. I can't lie we did, but that would be hard to explain.

Cheryl's POV

"Why isntshe answering?" I say as I call Betty again. It ring two to three times before it goes to voicemail so I know for a fact that Betty is hanging up the fucking phone. "She probably left and forgot to tell when she's coming back." Toni said. I looked at her. "How in the world would She forget? She lives with us." She sighed. "Well maybe she's okay." "Maybe she is OR maybe she's lying in a ditch somewhere." I said. "Come, Cher, I bet she's fine." Toni said reassuringly. "Than why, Toni, isn't she answering her damn phone?" I asked. "Maybe it's dead." I rolled my eyes.

Betty's POV

When I realized it was ten I thought maybe I should home, back to Cheryl's and Toni's I mean. I mean I can call it my home to at this point. But maybe I should go to Veronica's first. Cause I know she's really fucking worried about me. I know my friends are worried, but I know Veronica does to and I'd like to see her again even though I just came from there.

As I was walking upto the door it opened. It was Veronica. She immediately hugged me as soon as she saw me. "Oh my god." She said. I hugged her back. "I'm sorry if I worried you." I said. "Let's have this conversation inside." She said. I nodded and we went inside. "I'm sorry I saw your mom walk out of the house across the street so..." I nodded. "Oh okay. Yea I'm sorry if I worried you earlier. I just needed to get so air." She smiled. "I understand." I smiled back. "Yea. Well I'm sorry about this, but I need to go let my friends know I'm okay." I told her. "Aww why?" She complained. I walked closer to her. "Because I'm pretty sure they're also worried about me. I haven't be home since I came over last night." I said. She smiled even more. "Yea, last night was pretty incredible." She said. I smiled even more to. "Yea it was, wasn't it?" I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer to where out bodies where touching. "I love you." I said. She smiled. "I love you too." She said and I kissed her. I'll go to Cheryl's and Toni's later.
