Veronica's POV

Betty didn't come back before dark. In fact she didn't come back at all last night. I'm really worried about her. Where'd she go? Was that an arguement last night? I'm so worried. I've texted and I've called her just no answer. Right now I'm pacing around the living room, worried about Betty. I pulled my phone out to call her again. Just as I did the front door opened. I looked up ran over to hug her.

"Oh, my god, Betty!" I said. She hugged me back.

"Hi, Veronica. Are you okay?" She aksed. I pulled out of the hug and looked at her.

"You never answered my calls or texts. You never came back. You worried me." I said. She sighed and looekd down.

"I'm sorry, babe. I just had to do something." She said.

"Do what?" I asked. She shrugged. I sighed and started to walk I and to the couch.

"Something. Also, we're not together anymore." I quickly looked back at her.

"What?" I asked worriedly. She had a smirk on her face.

"We're not together." She slightly laughed.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Well, I went to Cheryl's and Toni's. They believe we broke up. And for good. Oh, and so does Kevin and Jughead." She said.

"Oh," then I realized something. "Wait. If you told them we aren't together anymore that means..." I stopped and she nodded and sighed sadly.

"I have to move out of here? Yes." She said.

"No!" I complained like a child. "You can't move back in with them." I said.

"I have you, V. In order for this to work we have to go back to the beginning. To when this started." She said.

"That's great! We get to go through that drama again." I mumbled. She just laughed.

"Oh, come on. You know you loved that mess. It was so fun." She said and sat on the couch. I looked down at her.

"Yeah, at the time, but now it's just an old game. Something we used to play. Now it's boring and not worth our time." I said. She grabbed my hand and pulled my onto the couch.

"Don't be talking like that." She said.

"Like what?" I asked.

"Like we're actually breaking up. Besides, I told them I'm moving out of here in a few days. Just to get my stuff packed to get the here." She said. I looked at her.

"Okay?" I questioned. She just kissed me. You know the rest....

Betty's POV

I walked downstairs and to the front door. I started to walk away from the house "Betty, what are you doing?" I heard Veronica ask. I looked back at her. "I need to go talk to Cheryl. I'll be back before dark. I promise." I said and continued to walk off. I heard the door shut.

I walked to Cheryl's and Toni's, and started to cry. To pretend. I knocked on the door. It was opened almost immediately.

"Oh, my god! Betty, what happened?" Toni asked. I shook my head.

"I need to live here." I said. She gave me a confused look.

"What are you talking about?" She asked. Then Cheryl walked to the door.

"Oh, what the hell, Betty?" She asks. "What happened??" She asked.

"She says she needs to live here." Toni said. I could see the smile form on her face.

"I knew it! I knew you two wouldn't last much longer! I knew that none of this would work out for you guys! I knew--"

"Cheryl! Could you not?! Our friend is over here upset. She doesn't need an I knew session from Cheryl Blossom!" Toni yelled. She looked taken about.

"Uhh, but I knew." She said. Tomi rolled her eyes.

"Do you have to be here tonight?" She asked. I shook my head.

"No, I have a few days. She's letting me stay in the guest bedroom." I muttered. Toni nodded. I watched as Cheryl walked off not caring for the world. "I'll go now. I just wanted to let you guys know. Well, the one who cares know." Toni nodded. I started to walk off. I heard the door shut. I stopped and smiled. This is working out how I planned.

When I got back Veronica was worried about me. I told her I was fine and then something happened...

After a few hours, which felt much slower than it was, I walked downstairs and grabbed my phone. I had a lot of texts from Toni saying that she could come and help pack. I told her no and that I'm fine. I felt hands wrapped around my waist. I smiled. "What are you doing?" I asked. "You were taking to long and I missed you." She said. I rolled my eyes. "I was gone for two minutes." I laughed. She giggled. "That's. To. Long." She said. I turned around to look at her. She was smiling. "God I love you so much." I said. "Stop!" She said. I smiled. "What? It's true." She sighed. "I love you too." She said and kissed me.
