Part Sixty-Six

Betty's POV

We woke up to the sound of her alarm on her phone. "Ugh!" I said. "I wanna stay." She says as she turns off her alarm. I put my head in the pillow. She rolled and was practically laying on me. "You know I could stay in bed just a little longer." She whispered into my ear. "You know, as intriguing as that is, we can't." I told her. "And why not?" She asked. "Because we can't and we don't have time." "No, we won't have time if we keep talking." She moved my hair and started to kiss the back of my neck since I was laying on my stomach. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Nothing." She said. I rolled over and looked at her. "You won't have time to take a shower and everything." I said. She smirked. "That's fine. I mean you could always join me." I sighed in defeat. "Fine! Okay. I'll join you, but only because your begging me." "You like it when I beg." "And you like it when I do." We both started giggling. "Okay, let's go." I said.

Once we got to the school I found my friends in the students lounge. "Okay, your a little late today." Kevin said. "By like fifteen minutes." I said and sat next to him. "Where were you?" Cheryl asked. "I was somewhere." I said. "And where is that somewhere?" Toni asked with a smile on her face. "Just somewhere." I said. "Was that somewhere is the shower?" Cheryl asked. I looked at her. "How would you know?" I asked. "Because your hair is down and it's still wet." She said. I slightly smiled. "V, wanted me to keep my hair down today." I said. "Oh, and they have nicknames for each other." Kevin said. "Was she in the shower with you?" Cheryl asked. We all looked at her. The looked down. Then the bell rang. I quickly stood up. "Have to get to class." I said and started to walk off. "She was!"

I quickly walked into the classroom and sat at my seat. Veronica gave me a weird look. Then Cheryl walked in and over to me. She had a big smile on her face. "She was, wasn't she?" She sort of whispered to me. I just gave that look of 'yes'. "I knew it!" She said. "Cheryl, could you not right not?" "Alright fine." She said and sat right next to me. Great! I looked up at Veronica wh owas looking at me. I slightly smiled and looked back down.

At Lunch

I am sitting with Cheryl, Toni, Jughead and Kevin when Cheryl decided to bring up a 'great idea' as she calls it. "No, I don't think I wanna do that." Jughead said. "What?! Why not?" Cheryl asked. "Babe, we all know Jug's not the partying type." Toni said. "I know, but--" "I'm not going." He interrupted. Cheryl sighed. "Fine! Don't go!" She said. She looked at me and smiled sweetly. "Your coming though right, Betty?" She asked. I shrugged. "I don't know. I usually just spend most of my time with Veronica." I said. "Oh, come on please. You live with the girl. You'll get back there. Please? For me?" She made a puppy face. I sighed and smiled. "Fine! Fine! But only if it'll make you shut up!" I said. "Thank you! I love you!" She said and pulled me into a side hug. "I love you, too, Cher."

Just then my phone buzzed. I looked at it. It was Veronica. "Look who is it!" She said. I rolled my eyes and gently pushed Cheryl off of me.

Veronica

V: Think you could get away from your friends for a bit?

I smiled. "It must be something good. She's smiling." Kevin said. I looked at him and rolled my eyes. "Go right on ahead!" Cheryl said. I looked at her. "What?" I asked. She smiled. "Get away from us for a bit." She laughed. "Oh, shut up!" I said with a smile. I frowned. "I can't." I said. "Why not?" Toni asked. "Do you remember what the principal said? We can't sneak around the school." I reminded them. "Well, where is she?" Toni asked. I shrugged. "Hang on."

Veronica

B: Where are you?

I quickly got a response.

V: In my classroom

I looked back at my friends. "I can't. I don't want to break anymore rules then I already have." I said. "Betty, nobody cares about the rules." Cheryl said. "Well, it won't look weird if we went with you." Jughead said. We all looked at him. "I mean just walk with you to the class or something." I looked down. "Oh, Betty. We all know you have a hard time with not kissing her throughout the day." I sighed knowing she's right. I smiled and looked up. "You know what I got a better idea." I said. "So Cheryl your party is tonight right?" I asked. She nodded. "Yes, it's Friday." I smiled. "I'll just wait till later." I said putting my phone away. "What?" Kevin questioned. I just smirked. "I don't think we want to know go guys." Toni said. We all laughed and I rolled my eyes.
