Veronica's POV
I was laying next to Betty who was sleeping. I smiled and grabbed my phone. It was only noon and she was sleeping. Well, I do feel tired myself. I put my phone down and sighed. I looked back at Betty. She was still sleeping. I slowly climbed out of bed, grabbing a shirt and put it on. I quietly walked downstairs, grabbed a cup and filled it with water. Then, there was a knock at the door. I put the cup down and walked to the door. I opened the door and saw my father. "Oh, your back!" I said. "Yeah, we came back just a few days ago." He said. "You and mom?" I questioned. "Yeah, she's coming over right now." He said and she was. "Hello mija." She said. I moved and let them inside. I shut the door behind them. "Why are you guys here so late in the day?" I asked knowing it's not that late. "We just came to say hello and maybe have lunch with our daughter." My dad said. Okay, I feel like they're upto something. "Oh, I'm not hungry for lunch so you don't really have to stay." I'm just hoping that Betty doesn't wake up and come down stairs. And in tryi ng time get them out of here in case she does. "Well we can stay and talk for a bit." My mom said. "About what exactly?" "How are you doing?" My dad asked. "Well, work is great! I'm actually having a great time." I said, truthfully. "Oh, well, that's great." He replied. "So, has anyone snatched up my daughters heart yet?" I closed my eyes in cringe. "Mom, why?" I asked. "I just want to know." I hate lying; especially to my parents. "Nope. No, no one." I told them. "Well, I'm just glad you dumped that Andrew's boy." My dad said. "Same." I mumbled. I sighed. "Is something wrong, mija?" My father asked. "No, nothings wrong." I said. "Umm you guys should leave." I told them opening the front door again. "But, we just got here." My mom said. "I know, but I'm rather busy today." I sort of lied. "Okay." My mom said and they left. I shut and locked the door and walked upstairs. Betty was still laying in bed. I sighed and got back into bed. "Who was that?" Betty asked sleepishly. I turned and faced her. "It was my parents." I said. She still had her eyes closed and she smiled a little. "Oh." I smiled. "You tired?" I asked. "Sorta. I kind of just woke up so yeah." "Well, you can go back to sleep." "But, if I got back to sleep I won't sleep tonight." "Well then we won't sleep tonight." I told her. Now her eyes opened and her mouth fell open a little. "Or the rest of the weekend." She smiled a bit. "Okay." She said a bit shocked. She leaned over and kissed me. I smiled and kissed her back. We both sat up and I straddled her. She started to lift my shirt up slowly. She pulled away a little. "Why'd you put this back on?" She asked. I bit my lip. "Well, my parents came." I told her. There was very little space between our faces. I could feel her breath on my face. "You should've ignored it." She said. "Shut up! This is to much talking!" I said and kissed her again. I felt her smile against my lips and kiss me back.
*****
It was about seven now and Betty and I were listening to music, laughing and dancing around the living room and kitchen. By the end of it we were slow dancing. She slowly leaned in and kissed me then trailed down to my neck. She moved my hair started to kiss and bite my neck. I let out small and soft moans. "Betty." I said quietly. "Hmm?" I smiled. "Look at me." I said. She laughed a little and looked at me. "What?" She asked. "Nothing. I just wanted you to look at me when I said I love you." She smiled. "Well, I love you too and you know that." I laughed a little. "I know. Hey when are you going to get your clothes from your friends place?" I asked. "Uhh maybe tomorrow. Why?" I shrugged. "Just wondering." She nodded. "Okay, can I go back to what I was doing, now?" I sighed. "Fine!" I said and she continued. "Your going to make a mark." I said. "Hmm good." I rolled my eyes.
