Betty's POV

I'm so glad it's Friday. I mean it's the end of the week, we're out of school for a few days, I'm going to Veronica's this weekend. I smiled at the thought of all of this. "What are you smiling at?" I looked at Toni. "Oh nothing. Just that it's Friday." I said. "I know! I can't wait to get out of this place." Cheryl said. "That is till Monday." Jughead said. "Shut up, Jones! I don't need to you ruining this." Cheryl said. "Ruining what? We still have three hours left." Kevin said. Cheryl glared at him. "Okay maybe we should stop talking to Cheryl." I said. "I agree." Toni said. We all laughed except for Cheryl. Then the bell rung. "We better get to class." Toni laughed. "Yea."

After school

I was at my locker when Kevin, Cheryl and Toni came upto me. "Hey guys!" I smiled. "Do you need something?" I asked. "Yea, do you want to go to Pop's with us?" Kevin asked. I shrugged. "When?" I asked. "Maybe at around seven-ish. I have honework I need to get done." Kev said. I nodded. "Yea sure I'll come." I said. "Okay." Then they all three walked off. Okay?

Cheryl's POV

"Okay what was that?" I asked. "What was what?" Toni asked. "Why is she actually planning on doing something with us now?" I said. "I don't know. Maybe she doesn't need help anymore." Kevin said. I scoffed. "Maybe. Or maybe she knows I'm  catching on to her." I said as we walked out of the school. "Or maybe she just wants to hang out with us." Tonu said. "Oh hell!" I said. "What?" Kevin asked. "It's Friday." "Yeah and you haven't figured anything out." Toni said. I sighed. "Shut up!" "Okay I really don't have time to listen to you guys argue. Besides I actually have homework I need to get done." Kevin said and walked off.

Betty's POV
At seven-ish

I was just laying in bed on my phone when there was a knock at the door. "Betty are you coming?" It was Cheryl. "Not yet. I still have homework I want to finish. I'll be there after a bit." I told her. "Okay." I heard the fron door shut.

Thirty minutes later

I didn't realize how much longer it was before my phone buzzed.

Kevin

Hey where are you?

Oh I forgot I'm coming now

Okay

** When I got to Pop's the three of them were sitting in a booth. They all looked back at me. "I'm sorry I'm late. I lost track of time." I said and sat next to Kevin. "Doing what? Homework"? Cheryl asked. "Yeah." I said. "Okay anyways I just want to know, why did you just now start hanging out with us." "Cheryl!" Toni whisper-yelled. "What? I wanna know." I sighed. "I was just always busy and I finally got free time to hang out with you guys." I lied. Cheryl scoffed. "Yeah okay." She mumbled. I rolled my eyes. Okay.

We had been sitting there talking for a while then my phone buzzed once. I looked at it and it read Veronica's name. Don't think I forgot about her.

Veronica

V: Are you coming yet?

I smiled and laughed a little.

B: No, not yet. I'm busy with my friends.

V: You can leave them.

B: No I can't.

V: Why not?

B: Just cause. I'll be there by eight- thirty. I promise.

V: It's 7:45. Where are you?

B: I'm at Pop's.

I smiled even more.

"Who are you texting?" I heard Kevin asked. I looked over at him, he was leaning over trying to ready my texts. I turned my phone off. "No one." I said maybe a bit to quickly. "Woah okay." He said. I felt my phone buzz again. I smiled a little bit and sighed. I looked back at my phone.

V: You'll text me when your almost here?

B: Yes, of course.

I looked back up at Cheryl who was looking at me to. "I need to go guys." I said. The smile on Cheryl's face disappeared. "What why?" She asked. "I just need to go." I said getting up. "Alright fine." I heard Cheryl say. I was at the door when someone said sowmthing to me. "Well wait. When are you coming back home." Toni asked. I looked at her and shrugged. "I don't know. So don't worry." I said and left.

It was sort of dark by the time I got to Veronica's. It was eight-fifthteen when I got there. I remembered she wanted me to text her when I was almost there, but I'm already here so it doesn't matter. I knocked on the door. It took her a few minutes to open the door. "I thought you were gonna text me." She smiled and so did I. "Well I didn't remember until I got here so what was the point." I said. She grabbed my hands and lightly pulled me inside. She shut the door and she
turned back towards me. "What do you want to do first?" She asked. "I thought that maybe we could watch a movie before we did anything." I smiled at her. "What are you doing?" She asked. I shrugged. "What do you mean?" I asked and grabbed her hand walking to the couch. "You're teasing me." She said. I shook my head. "No. I'm just making you wait a bit longer." I said. "How much longer?" She whined. "Depends on how much longer you whine." I said. She sighed. "I'm the older one here." She said pushing me against the wall. I smiled. "And that's supposed to change a thing?" "No, not really, but we both know neither of us can wait." She said. "That's where your wrong. I can wait you... can't." I said. She smiled and kissed me. She started to kiss down to my neck. A few seconds later She looked back at me. "You know what? The movie can wait." I said kissing her again...
