Part Twenty-four

Veronica's POV

I woke up to my alarm and with Betty laying next to me. I smiled as I noticed Betty was still sleeping. I just watched her sleep. I lightly moved a strand of hair behind her ear. She smiled a little. "Good morning." She said sleepishly. Her eyes opened and she leaned over and kissed me. I kissed back. She pulled away a few seconds later. "I love you." She said. "I love you too." I replied. She layed back down next to me. "Hey it's Tuesday." I said getting up, grabbing a shirt and putting it on. "Ugh! I dont wanna go!" She complained and I grabbed my phone. "We'd both like that, but I have to teach and you have to learn." I said looking at her. She rolled her eyes and covered her face with her hands. "Your right." She said. "I know I am." I said. She looked at me and I smiled. "Don't be like that." She said and got up. "Be like what?" I asked and turned to look at her. She was still naked. smiled. She was smiling. "Well... while this is real tempting." I said looking at body as I was walking over to her. I stopped not even a full foot away from her. "I really need to get around for the day." I said. She sighed. "Fine!" She complained. I smiled and pulled her into a kiss. She kissed me back, but I pulled away a few seconds later. "I'm gonna go take a shower you can go back to sleep if you'd like." I told her and she nodded. "Okay." "Go back to bed you don't have to get up for a little while longer." I said and grabbed clothes and went to take a shower.

About have way through my shower I heard the door open. I smiled as the shower curtains opened. "I'm sorry I can't sleep knowing your not with me." She said. I rolled my eyes. "Well I'm sorry I'm trying to get ready." I told her. "Well maybe I could get ready with you." She said slowly getting in the shower with me. I smiled and she shut the shower curtain. I immediately kissed her and she kissed me back.

We got out about twenty minutes later. We ate breakfast and watched TV till I had to leave; meaning I left her in my house alone. I trust her and I love her.

Betty's POV

I hated that Veronica had to leave. We can't skip school cause that seems way to suspicious. Especially with when Cheryl was looking at me suspiciously yesterday.

Anyways right now I'm alone at Veronica's and way to scared to check my phone because I've heard it buzzing all morning. Well I also heard it last night, but ignored it. Right now I'm staring at my phone as it buzzes over and and over and over again. I finally looked at it.

Why is she calling me?

I'm confused. I'm not home (at Cheryl's and Toni's) for one night they (Cheryl) blow(s) up my phone. Well this happened last time I did this. I don't think I even went home yesterday. Also why the hell is my mom calling me? When did she care? And now I'm just not remembering she lives across the street from Veronica and now that I think about it, if i move in with them I could easily sneak over here and back, but Cheryl and Toni would never allow that. I could basically call them mom and dad at this point.

I put my clothes on from yesterday not caring for the world. I check the time. 6:35. I still have about an hour before I have to leave.

6:39. 6:47 7:04. 7:13. 7:24. 7:34.

I got up and went to school. The worst place of all time... sometimes. When I got to school both Cheryl and Toni immediately found me. "Where the hell have you been?" Cheryl asked. I sighed. "Everytime I'm gone even for a second you guys overreact." I said truthfully. "Well we're worried." Toni said. "Yea. We'd like to know where your at." Cheryl added. "Who are you guys my parents?" I asked. "Yes, we are. After your mom joined the fucking, farm? Or something, I don't know." Toni said. "Well you don't need to actually be my parents." I said annoyed. "Well we are going to whether you like it or not." Cheryl said. I rolled my eyes. "Great! Well I'm going to class." I told them. "What? It doesn't started for another fifthteen minutes!" Toni yelled as I walked away. "Awesome! I know." I said with a little sarcasm.

I walked into Veronica's classroom and she was sitting at her desk. She looked up and smiled when she saw me. I smiled back. "Hi." She said. "Hi." I said back biting my lower lip. "What are you doing in here so early?" She asked as I walked to my seat. "Well I don't wanna hang out with my friends." I told her as I sat down at my seat. "And why didn't you want to hang out with your friends?" She asked. I shrugged. "They're boring." "And sitting in a classroom with a teacher isn't?" She asked. I smiled even more. "No if it's you." I said lowering my voice a little since the door was still open. "Okay." She said and it was silent till class started.
