Betty's POV

Once we got to the station we immediately found Sheriff Keller. I wasn't able to tell him or say anything to him really because I was to scared, so Cheryl did it. He looked at all of us.

"When was the last time each of you saw her?" He asked.

"School." The others said. They all turned and looked at me.

"At her house." I said. He nodded.

"But I did find this." Toni said and handed him a note. I recognized the paper and the handwriting. It was my note to Veronica. I quickly pulled it our of his hands.

"Toni, why the hell do you have this?" I asked.

"I found it sitting on the dining table. Betty, I don't think Veronica saw it." I sighed and looked down at it.

"Have any of you been to her house recently?" Keller asked.

"Us." Kevin said telling his dad it was hom and the other three. He sighed and nodded again.

"We'll do what we can, but for now we need to contact the school and tell the teachers and the school board what's going on" he said and we left.

As we walked outside into the cold night air I felt my eyes water up. No, Betty, you can't  try now! I told myself, but it didn't work. The started started to slowly fall down my face anyways.

"Betty?" I heard Toni said. "Betty!?" She said again and I looked at her. "Oh, Betty!" She said and pulled my into a hug. I hugged her back.

"I'm sure Veronica's fine." Jughead said.

"What makes you think that? We have no idea where the hell she is." I said to him. He nodded.

"That doesn't mean that we can't hope." He said. I nodded.

"I know, but I can't bare to go back and sleep in that bed alone. And I don't wanna go home." I said.

"Then, come home with us." Cheryl said. I looked at her.

"You'd do that?" I asked. She nodded.

"Absolutely." She said.

"How do I know you're not lying to me right now?" I asked.

"You don't, but I swear on my life that will not ruin your relationship with Veronica ever again." She said. I nodded.

"Fine, but only because I'm desperate." I said.

When we got Cheryl's and Toni's it was ten- thirty.  I sighed.

"Hey, Betty go to bed. We can worry about any of your other worries tomorrow." Toni said.

"I'm only worried about Veronica. Where the hell is she?" I asked. "Where could she have gone? And what could Archie have done with or to her? What is he going to do to her?" I asked.

"Betty, I know ou love Veronica and that's what's making you think a whole bunch of negative things, but you just need to slept for now. If anything happens or changes whole your sleeping we'll wake you up, we promise." Cheryl said. I nodded and hugged them both.

"Thank you. Both of you." I said.

"Absolutely." Toni said.

"Now get to sleep." Cheryl said. I nodded and walked upstairs to a room and changed into extra clothes that I had left here from the first time I stayed here. I layed in bed and looked at my phone.

"It's only 10:35?" I whispered to myself. Ugh! This is gonna be a long night. How am I going to get through it without Veronica? She's my rock. The should I can cry on. She's my girlfriend. The love of my life! If I ever lost her I will lose my mind. I don't know what I would do without her. Wait! Why am i talking like she's dying? She's fine! She's fine. Nothing wrong with her. They'll find her. I know they will. Then life will go back to normal. Well, the new normal. The normal that has been normal since I started dating a teacher. I regret nothing.
