(Unknown POV)
“A son, huh?” I mused, scratching at my chin as I waved my hand, making one of the angels scurry and take the orb from in front of me. “Rather cliché, if I do say so myself. It's as if Father couldn't think of anything else.” I snorted, taking a sip of my wine as I leaned back against the throne. My throne.
It was funny how Father believed that one measly little half breed could take me out. It seemed he had such little expectation in my abilities. He will be sorely mistaken if he thinks that a mere half breed could even get close to me. It was almost comical.
Bored, I glanced over to the side as the Angel of Death walked up to me, his dark blue hair a stark contrast against his porcelain skin, his gold eyes lowering in respect as he approached me. “My lord, the preparations are set. Phase two is ready whenever you give the word.”
I sat my wine aside, standing up from the throne to stand in front of him, watching him avert his eyes from me. “Very good, Alistare. I applaud that you worked so quickly. Phase two won't begin just yet, but it will very soon. Have you completed the other task I gave you?”
Alistare nodded, folding his hands behind his back. “Yes sir. His soul wasn't hard to find. It seemed Father wanted him to be a mere flower. Hers, on the other hand, a little more difficult. I had to bargain with Lucifer in order to get her soul.”
I crossed my arms, frowning at the mere mention of that...integrate. “Did he ask for anything in return?”
Alistare shook his head. “No sir. Which I find to be highly suspicious.”
“Indeed,” I muttered, running a hand through my short hair. I glanced to the left as we were approached by a female, her long white hair pulled up high on her head, her purple eyes glancing between Alistare and I. I nodded towards her, acknowledging her presence. “Yuki. Do you have anything for me?”
The Angel of Pleasure shook her head, crossing her arms over her ample breasts. “Sadly no. No one was willing to work with us.”
“Did you dispose of them?”
“I did.”
“Very good. Now, bring me the Demon Queen.”
Yuki pouted, but nodded anyway, going to do as I told. Smart, I thought to myself, fixing the cuff to my suit jacket, she knows better than to speak against me.
“Sir,” Alistare spoke, making me glance up to see him pointing to the left, making me glance over to see a familiar tuft of blonde hair.
I smirked, grabbing my wine before I made my way over to the tall, shaking blonde, his turquoise eyes wide as he watched me walk up to him. He was completely and utterly terrified of me, judging by the way his whole body shook.
I grabbed his chin, his sunkissed skin soft against my fingers. His breath came out shakily, sweat beginning to form on his skin. “I missed you. I was upset when the angel managed to kill you. Dissapointing, really.” I glanced up at rhe angel that brought him in. “Cyrus, take him to the Room.”
The blonde’s eyes went wide with terror as Cyrus began dragging him off, his screams and pleas echoing around the throne room. I paid them no mind as I turned around, catching the sight of Yuki and a raven-haired woman, making me smirk and make my way over to them. I nodded towards Yuki. “Thank you. Now, leave us.”
Yuki huffed and left, leaving me and the raven to talk in peace.
“You know, I was expecting more. Heaven isn't really all too glamorous, in my opinion,” she said with a grin, those red lips pulled back as those equally red eyes stared at me.
“Kyomini,” I nodded, making her place a hand on her hip, “I'm glad you could make it.”
Kyomini scoffed, tapping her black nails against her collarbone. “Hardly. That fucking bitch managed to kill me. Impressive, since he was so damn hurt. Doesn't mean it didn't piss me off, either.”
I smirked, crossing my arms over my chest. “And he was human, to boot.”
Kyomini rolled her eyes and glared at me. “Well? Why the hell did you bring me back? To continue working with you, or something?”
“Indeed. Your connection with other creatures outside Heaven and Hell are valuable to us. It would have been stupid to let you go, just like that. Besides, if you continue working with us, not only do you get what you were promised, but you will get revenge on that, oh so little angel you enjoy so much.”
Kyomini quirked a brow. “You would really allow me to kill him? I'm surprised. I heard he was a thorn in your side since this whole war started.”
I tilted my head, staring at the red liquid in my glass. “That is true. However, I know when some things must be sacrificed, in order for my plans to work. And if that means letting you kill my biggest obstacle, then I will have no problem with it. However, there has been a slight change of plans. It seems that Sky is to have a son. One, that is said, will end me. It would be fun for you to get close to this child. Getting close to the child would mean getting close to Sky. Torture the son, and Sky will become agonized, allowing you the fun and revenge you seek.”
Kyomini tapped her chin, her red eyes sparkling at the thought of hitting two birds with one stone. If she agreed to this, it would get that child off my back, thwarting Father’s plans. Without the child, no one will take me down and I will achieve what I had been waiting so long to. It would also take Sky off of the playing field and into my hands, perfect for what I planned to do with him.
I tuned back into current time, just as Kyomini nodded her head, a wide grin forming on her lips. “I think that sounds like an excellent idea. Fine, I will continue to give you my services, as long as our deal is in place.”
I nodded, taking a sip of my wine. “Everything you will want will be given to you, as promised. I assure you.”
“Good! Now let me go home so I can come up with a plan.”
I waved my hand to the side, letting Kyomini teleport out of Heaven so she could go to Hell. I watched her dissappear with a bored expression on my face. However, even if I looked bored on the outside, my inside was a flurry of emotions, excitement being at the forefront. It seemed that everything was going smoothly. And once Sky and his half breed son were disposed of, I could finally complete the ritual of bringing my lover back. The only man who held me in high regards, and the only one who treated me kindly.
I took a breath, glancing up at the glass opening at the top of the throne room, watching the fluffy white clouds pass before my eyes closed. Do not worry, Titan, I thought, swirling my wine around in the glass, I will avenge you. And l will bring you back. No matter the cost.
