Bulong ng Puso

Chapter Six

Louise was dumbfounded. Gael is holding her so close to him that she could literally feel his breath almost fanning her face.

She slightly opened her lips to say something but for the life of  her, tila walang gustong lumabas na salita mula sa kanyang lalamunan!

Gael surveyed Louise's face. Nasa ganoon pa rin silang posisyon at wala siyang pakialam kung sino man ang makakita sa kanila. He could hold her like this forever if only she will let him.

Napalunok siya nang makita ang pagbuka at muling pagtikom ng mga labi nito na tila walang maapuhap na sasabihin. She innocently bit her lower lip na tila isang batang napahiya.

He inhaled sharply at dahan dahang pinakawalan ang baywang nito mula sa pagkakayakap.

God knows how he wanted to crush her lips with a kiss right there and then! He felt a sudden surge of heat from his groins up to his spine. Matinding pagpipigil ang kinailangan niyang gawin upang hindi ito halikan.

He knows he must have gone crazy, acting like a teenage boy around a teenage girl! For goodness sake!  He is 21! Ilang babae na rin ang dumating at umalis sa kanyang buhay ever since he was a teenage boy but none of them made him feel the way Louise had made him feel. Hindi rin niya maintindihan ang sarili. For the first time in his 21 years of existence, kagabi lang niya naranasang hindi makatulog dahil sa isang babae! Is he obsessed?

Maybe he is. That would explain it! Maybe she's someone he should have para muling tumino ang isip niya.

I will make her mine then.

It took Louise a few seconds bago nakahuma mula ginawang pagtanggal ni Gael ng bisig.

Her heart pounding wildly in her chest.

For a moment while they were standing that close to each other, she thought he would kiss her.

The thought scared and excited her at the same time. She saw his gaze roam around her face and then stopped at her lips. She swears there was something that crossed his eyes although she cannot be sure what it was. Was it perhaps, anger?

Nakita niyang biglang sumeryoso ang mukha nito and his eyebrows came together in frown. That was the moment he let go of her. She was dazed and confused for a second.

What just happened? Naalala ba nito si Marcie kaya tila nagalit sa kanya?

"S-sorry about Marcie," she casually said. Dammit! Louise! she silently cursed at herself.

She really shouldn't be saying sorry for anything! She didn't do anything wrong for crying out loud! Pero ano ba ang pwede niyang sabihin sa lalaking ito just to break the ice between them? Besides, hindi ba't tila galit ito sa kanya kani kanina lang? Must be because of Marcie. Maybe they are... friends?

To her surprise, Gael burst out laughing.

"Sshhh!" agad niyang tinutop ng kamay ang bibig nito without even thinking.

Luminga siya sa paligid upang makita kung narinig ba sila ng librarian.

"Gusto mo bang mapa trouble kay Ms. Amado?" nanlalaki ang matang tanong niya rito. Ang tinutukoy niya ay ang matandang dalagang librarian na ubod ng sungit. Kapag sinuwerte kang natyempuhan ito ay malamang ma-ban ka sa library for the rest of the school year.

Of course she probably won't do that to Louise but she's pretty sure makakarating sa papa niya na may kasama siyang lalaki sa tagong parte ng aklatang iyon. Sure, wala siyang ginagawang masama but her over protective father for sure will not believe her. Baka padalhan na siya ng bodyguard sa susunod!

Gael stopped laughing, at masuyong hinawakan ang palapulsuhan niya at marahang inalis ang pagkakatakip niya sa bibig nito. Amusement in his eyes." I didn't know you could be a little aggressive, sweetheart. I like it..." Without taking off his gaze at her ay muli nitong inilapit ang kamay niya sa labi nito and gave her palm a wet kiss!
